Over the last few days I was home and able to run a couple tests with my gear. I was pleasantly surprised to see these numbers when I clamped my pair of SAZ-1500Ds strapped at 2 ohms (1-per), car on with factory alt, off of a little 600CA battery: ~3,100WRMS I built my first attempt at a box strictly geared towards SPL, and after tinkering with it a bit worked up to a score of 146.0 dbdrag style, using these amps and two 12" RE SXs out of a saturn trunk. Just figured I'd share the results... I have big plans for this summer once I get a hold of a new battery and some time to build/test.

Just thought I would post some pictures of my 1500D's. I did 149.2DBs with 2 Sundown 1500D's on an 100 amp fuse. The sub used was an Atomic APX. The score was at the headrest. Without fusing during my clinic I did 149.9DBs. All in all very impressed with the amps can't wait to get 2 more. I didn't have much time to test before the show but I believe with a little more tuning I'll be over a 150 at the head. The 149.1 was the second day.

ANY AMPLIFIER SOLD AFTER MARCH 31st 2007 NO LONGER CARRIES 0.5 OHM WARRANTY COVERAGE. Full explanation is available in this thread: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...?showtopic=7556 ---------- If you intend to run your SAZ-1500D at a 0.5 ohm nominal load please read this entire thread, especially the sections in bold near the bottom. To put it simply at the top... this is a warranty against damage NOT a guarantee that your setup will run without a hitch at 0.5 ohms all the time. I suggest that most consumers run a DCR not under 0.7 ohms for daily applications, and to reserve extremely low impedance use for competition. Read the full text for all details. ------…

Just had two questions. (1) Can a pair of SAZ-1500d be strapped together at 0.5 ohm? And (2) would a 200 or 300amp ALT, red top up front, and a pair of Kinetik HC2000s be enough current to power them correctly? Thanks in advance.

You will NOT be able to use the remote as the port was broken off in transit from the factory, along with cosmetic damage to the end panel as pictured: Price is $350 shipped in the continental USA via Paypal.

Hey guys, Looks like we lost alot of database information in the upgrade process. I was able to re-post both Sean and Loyd's test results. If anyone else has anything to re-post I would appeciate it greatly. Eg: SAE-100D photos and whatnot The new forum has lots of cool new features and we are back up and running now!

Here's the setup, a pair of Sundown Audio SAZ-1500d's strapped at 1 ohm. In the box used in the test (a single Funkin Audio MF12, dual 2), rise went from 1 ohm to 2 ohms during play. Here are the results: Notes: * Highest power on 16.0v rest was 4663 watts on 14.3v * Highest power on 16.5v rest was 5136 watts on 14.3v * Highest power on 17.9v rest was 5677 watts on 15.5v * 84% efficient on 15.0v and 180 amps of draw per amp There was a 10% increase in power starting 0.5v higher with an ending voltage being the same. There was another 10% increase when starting at 1.4v higher and ending 1.2v higher. This would tell me that a lowest voltage over 16.5v like…
