Went to AudioThunder in Niagra Falls new york with some small changes to the vehicle. Terrible drive up due to conditions outside but well worth it! Little FYI for those looking for really awesome fiberglass enclosures for, IMO, incredibly cheap prices: http://www.resinating-resin.com/products.htm I have the one that says "Sundown Audio" on it sitting at my shop... paint looks like auto paint - factory level quality. Very high quality enclosures. I know the owner personally, from before he moved back to Michigan. I'm sure he could even do them thicker for high SPL drivers (Nightshades) - although, it may not even be necessary... we'll be testing the box I got from him with Nightshades as soon as we get power wire in my Jeep.

Hey everyone.....got the toyota's system install all done....I will post pics and video in a few hours....but the 18's blew the box apart...... haha it sounds like a machine gun in the back bdddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd took about 45 minutes to destroy the box......so next week ill have a nother box on the way...... the shop is going to build another box for me no charge this time its going to be a little more secure....the shop was pissed that them Sundown 3500's teamed with the Btl's were so damn devastating

Ok so I got a set of SA 12's a few months back had originally had two e12's on my old amp but replaced the amp with a saz-1200d and my e12's was dual 2ohm so I ordered two of the new v2 dual 4ohm but find out a few days later they are out of stock.. so thinking I asked if I could just pay the difference for two new Sa12's I was told sure. . So now after having them and meeting a few other people's that have sa's looking at mine it almost looks like I was sent B stock . The glue on multiple speakers has come off... The glue that holds the spider to the basket. I have my subsonic filter set to around 30hz, and the speakers were getting around 180 watts RMS max

Aight I'm planning on buying 1 of 4 custom nightshade 10s that jacob custom made with the blue basket. I wanted to know if this sub would be suitable in a 4th order bandpass enclosure. Also would like to know what's the best frequency to tune the enclosure for daily driver ( I like hip hop music and love the lows lol). I would be using a digital design m1b amplifier to run the sub. Ran a box design through WinISD and wanted some input. This is for 4 E8 8inch subs. It is a three chambered enclosure, each outside enclosure is 1 cubic foot tuned to 70 hertz. The inside enclosure is 2 cubic feet and is tuned to 40 hertz. The woofers will be mounted magnet end in the 1 cubic foot side two woofers per the 1 cubic foot side firing into the 2 cubic foot portion. This is for my kid who listens to mostly rap. Powering this will be a SAE1000d. A subsonic filter will be used to keep over excursion down. The graph on WinISD looks impressive in an open air environment. Any reason to not utilise this box design?

Hi all, I've read here and there not to use the bass boost( because of clipping signal?). But, if it is so bad, why do we have it on the Sundown amps like my saz 1000 D ? How and when to use it? Mine is still set to the minimum, and my 15" Icon seems to love it:)!

I started my stereo install without full plans. I had no idea what my substage would consist of. I had a JL amp already for my door speakers and thought id be going that route so i ran the JL bass knob wire through with the rest of my wiring. I then ended up learning of sundown and got the sax-1200 amp and the bass knob that comes with it. Do you know if i can just swap the wires or do i have to re run it? I really don't feel like pulling my carpet back out just to get that wire re-run if its not necessary. Also the JL wire didnt plug into the knob itself, there was a 6 inch line off the knob that it connected to. So i need to extend it, do i need a special wire and conne…
