was installing a new to me sae 1200 from db-r when the worst thing happen the bit fell out and arched the speaker terminals.. everything shut off came back speakers made a weird hissing noise so i swapped it out seem to help the sub works for a little then cuts out

I want to know a single SA-8 V1.5 T Line enclosure design for a sedan. The sub will be daily played and I have 650rms on it.

So Sean is up with his CRX and we are doing some testing... we hit a brick wall last time at 149.0 dB using a 4" aero-port. So... Sean and I got the idea to try a 6" aero-port for the single 8" woofer! The result is 149.9 dB so far. Peak is 66 Hz in the kick... the CRX normally peaks at 68 Hz so we are going to work on re-tuning to break the 150 outlaw. Fun stuff We have as much port area as cone are now *laughs*

Any chance of a sundown 5k or bigger in the future????

I was just wondering if the saz-1000D would be stable at .5 ohms. dont really wanna try it without asking first. thanks guys

Hi everyone, I'm trying to build a box for a single x15. It's going to have a 1500w amp wired at 1ohm. The sub is going in a 99 Isuzu trooper so I have a lot of space for the box. The problem is that I have all apple products so I can't download anything to find out what the dimensions have to be. If someone could figure out the dimensions for me I would really appreciate it. I've seen a lot of the testings use 1/2 ohm loads on these amps. Is it practical and safe to run 1/2ohm on a regular setup? I want to add a second sub to my setup and my current sub is 2ohm dvc. Adding another one of those puts me at 2 ohms or .5 and Id rather go .5 if I can. My other choice is buying two new subs instead of one and that is a lot more money. Appreciate any input here

Like the title says, my Nightshade v.2 12 D1 has showed up(fedex saturday delivery ftw). All I can say is wow, the wickedest sub I've ever seen! The comparison pics vs the SA-8 will show how big(61lbs to be exact) these subs really are. Hopefully the 1500d is up to the task, if not I guess Ill be upgrading my sundown arsenal somemore. Hey everyone I'm, having issues right now with my amp. I don't know too much about wiring and etc but my installer says that the amp I have isn't stable at 2ohm's and won't try 1ohm for fear of blowing the amp. It's stable at 4ohms but thats it, so right I have no idea what to do about it. Is the amp just bad? I ordered it almost two months ago but just installed it today and forgot to even see if I had a warranty when purchasing. Also the amp as it is now is pushing two AA havoc 12's in a sealed box and the amp is just rattling BAD. Like real real bad were it's so annoying and loud that everyone can hear it. lol okay now that i got your attention i will make my lil review haha. so...my first reaction when i saw this amp internally was "this must be a POS it looks like a damn power acoustik or some thing like that internally" but that amp reaaaally proved me wrong. i used that amp @ .35 (strictly for spl) and it is one tough mofo i did a bit over 15 burps on drained batteries...my voltage drop was from 14.1 to 13.0 with one optima g31 and 1 crappy batt up front on my blazer. i got a 146.2dbs with 1 DD 9515. the amp never got hot during the burps, it didnt blow the fuses, go to protect or even burn...i used it at a comp yesterday and i did a 146.1 and got 1st place with it. so …
