Well i need some help choosing my next amp! here is my future application, 2-15inch NS v1 (already purchased) 2-saz2000(1 of 2 purchased) 1-ID horns 2-nsb 90's big 3 h/o alt (200amp) Now my question is either the 50.4 or the 125.2! I need some help deciding. both amps have pluses and i am leaning towards the 50.4. So here are the immediate plus i see: 50.4, future application due to the 4channels and resell able 50W x 4CH RMS 4 ohm stereo 80W x 4CH RMS 2 ohm stereo 160W x 2CH 4 ohm bridged 125.2 more power, less $20 lol 125 watts x2 @ 4 ohms 200 watts x2 @ 2 ohms 400 watts x1 @ 4 ohms bridged Now for the question which would you choose to power a pair of ID Horns…

Last night as I was just listening to the radio as I was driving along and I began to notice an odd smell in my car. My volume was low, and I have not played my music loud in a while. Initially I thought maybe something was just coming through the vents outside. However, when I got home and popped my trunk I was greeted with a haze of white smoke!!!!! I am running two amps; an SAE-1200D and a SAX-50.4. Upon further investigation this morning I checked the impedance of all my speakers and they are what they should be and my voltages are correct at the amp. need new amp. quick question.... how would it hold up @ .7 ohms? with, 230A alt, Yellow top under hood, Kinetik 2400 in back, 1/0 under hood & back, second run there but not hooked up, It's either .7 or 2.8, two Quad .7 coil subs... TC-3000. I could do two 1500's @ 1.4 ohm each I guess... but I rather like the idea of one big amp... Ideas?

I want to run my amps 2 saz 1500ds, one to each sub. But in order to keep them in phase I was wondering if I can set up the RCA's as if they are strapped. I have them set up regular from the HU to on amp then jumped to the next, but the sub off the 1st amp is moving way more than the other. I swapped the RCA's to see if it changed and sure enough its the same way. Any advice?

This is my first post to the forum, so be gentle :-) I'm planning a new system for my 97 Maxima SE. The last system I put together was about 18 years ago so the current crop of equipment is very new to me. I think I've made up my mind on 2 FI Q15's in sealed enclosures w/2 cuft each. Now I need to make up my mind on amplifiers. I've been reading a lot of good things about the Sundown amplifiers and I would like to get some honest opinions. This system will be in my daily driver. I'm into SQ so even though I like to play my music (rock) loud, it has to sound clean and crisp. I want to be able to drive the subs hard and still have headroom so I don't get any clipping. …

The latest word on the arrival of the SAE-1000D shipment is May 1st - 2nd. Pre-orders will be shipped starting the day they arrive and some will also go out the next day -- when yours ships you will get a tracking number from UPS, so you will know that it has shipped.

My current set up is (1) 15" nightshade off a 3000d @ 1 ohm. So 3000 watts daily. I know it handles the power easily, but with the warmer weather comin I am afraid I am going to hurt it because I like to ride windows down music up. Should I get the (2) 12"s or do you think I'm good with my current set up?Obviously (2) 12" subs would be more cone area than (1) 15" sub, so that alone would get me louder. I am mainly concerned about running 3000 watts to this sub to much and frying it!!

Hey everybody, I just purchased a USED SAZ 1k on here. And once i installed it i realized that the blue l.e.d on the amp was not on. I checked the voltage and it was reading over 14v. Checked the grounds, power and it was all fine. I even swapped out the amp with TWO other amps and the others worked fine. (nothing was changed). The amps used were a Sundown 100.2, and Alpine MRP M1000. Now after trying one more time i was messing with the remote wire and saw that the PROTECTION l.e.d would light up from time to time. So i am guessing that the power l.e.d. is just out which is no big deal, I cannot confirm this because I dont have a working woofer sitting around i …

TC Sounds OEM 10" Drivers (2 of them). Enclosure will be built next weekend. Here are some pics. Side By side with TC sounds oem 10" (left) and a Diamond Audio D1 10" (right) both dual 4 ohm.

A few more tweaks are coming a Kenwood head unit, leather interior, some fiber glass work (probably going to put some E8s in for mid-bass), wheels and new paint. Would two D2 SA-8's do ok on an Audiopipe AP1000D running at 2ohms? That would be 700watts rms. Also, how would the sound compare to a single 10 or 12 in an SQ type setup?

I was playing my system today which consists of two SAZ-3000d's strapped together @2 ohms. I was messing with some settings in my HU and it was just slammin. All of a sudden it cuts off so I turn the system off and let it sit for a little bit. Turned it back on and it still doesn't play thought I blew the fuse. When I finally get home I check the amp and the slave amp goes into protect. I know that the link RCA sometimes causes problems but now whenever it turns on it immediately goes into protection. I tried disconnecting the link RCA and turn it on and still goes into protect. Right now I disconnected both power and ground to let it sit disconnected for a while…

First off, have to give a big thanks to Jacob for allowing me to use the Sundown logo, and for supplying me with some hi-res jpegs. Finally got some free time in one of our CNC's and got this in. All i have left to do is paint the lettering to make it stand out more. Something wrong with the way the pic came out on this one on the "audio" shape Now to do the other one.

well this is my van...a 1995 Nissan Quest... at the moment i have: Kenwood x591 HU 4 5x7 blown speakers...planning on replacing them by 2 8's and 2 6.5" pro audio speakers profile baja 2 ch amp for the speakers... 1 15" audiopipe txx-15rd 1 SAZ-1500d optima yellow top g31 in the back now the picz old box.... new box... My Loudest score has been 137 on the tl on a small sealed prefab...going to a local comp tpday hopefully with my new box i touch the 140s

lil build i did this weekend, 3 sa-12s on a saz [email protected], 6cf@30hz kerfed port sealed w glass. lots of sanding left and a outside glassing needed but sounds great

Building a new box for my 15" nightshade. Going to be running (3) 4" external aeros and was thinking about ~2-2.5 cu ft before displacement.. Will be testin different port lengths after I get the box built to see what does the best. Any input?

Refurbished saz-1500d or new saz-1500d. the new one i can get for 600 and refurbished will be getting for 450. which should i choose? this is coming from db-r.com
