Sundown Audio

i am interested in a 3 way component system. reason being, one 2 way component system wouldnt be enough for me. i think a 3 way system would be more broader, with a woofer, a vocal mid range driver and a tweeter. i was looking at focals. model 165 A3 from there "Access" line. im not that particular to where i need to hear them before i buy. im sure i would be satisfied. im use to listening to factorys so any component sysem would probably do me good. anybody have suggestions or experience with a 3 way system? and also is the rated rms power totaled between all speakers on each crossover?

so im pumping gas today and the guy at the pump ahead of me seen my sub thru my windshield and ask'd if its the old power hx2. i said ya and he started talking bout he used to have a pair then he ask'd what i was runnin it with and i pointed thru my hatch n said a sundown saz1500. he said no shit?and im the first here in oklahoma other then himself that hes talked to who has any clue what sundown is. and then he says he will be working for sundown audio this summer and i think he said his name is hitman or sumthin....asian guy in his early 20's....is this guy for real or just talkin out his ass

Just how good is the SQ of the SAX-100.4? It's good enough for the average Joe but is it good enough to drive a set of SEAS Lotus Reference 6.5" comps? I'll be running a Zapco DSP6-SL for my processor and the comps will be run active. I think 100W per driver is enough power, but am I going to be satisfied with the SQ of the amp?

Some of you may know that I was going to get Sundown X 12s and then decided to get 2 10s because I couldn't fit 2 12s properly since they require a much bigger box and I'm kinda limited on room. I decided to have subs/port facing rear and have my battery and amps up closer to the front and build an amp rack there. I have a question. I have been reading that Sundown has two positive terminals hooked up parallel and two negative terminals that are hooked up in parallel. Which has lead me to be confused. (2) JL W7 13.5 (1500Wrms) DVC 1.5 ohm If I wire the woofers as so: And hook just one lead (+) to one (+) terminal on the amp and hook one lead (-) to one (-) terminal on the amp I should come out with 1.5 ohms and approximately 2625Wrms right? (and of course more power since they are underated) And secondly can I just hook it up to one lead and come out with the full power range?

i have 2 fi d1 bl 18's and i was wonderin if it would be better to run 1 saz 3000d or to strap a pair of sundown 1500's?

Alright guys need some help here, since my car is in the shop and there working on the front im allowed to work with the stereo. Now i have 1 run of o gauge power wire from my front bat to the back to bats and i ahve a 200 amp alt should i add another run or two or is one run fine? just kinda wondering and i got 0 gauge jsut sitting aorund i need to use lol

On the scv and saz amps what style crossover is used butterworth or linkwitz-riley ? Have never seen it said on sundowns specs.

Looking into something that I'd be proud to put the "Sundown Audio" name on... and I think I may be on to it. I've been speaking to an engineer about doing a bigger power amplifier the way I think it should be done. How does 4000 watts @ 1 ohm @ 0.01% THD anywhere from 12v to 16v sound ? At a soft clip (eg: burp) up to 6500 watts at anywhere from 12v to 16v. MSRP would be around $1999 to $2199 or so for this bad boy. Would be about 33.5" long give or take... and accept dual 1/0 inputs. I may be testing a prototype by the end of the year. Don't ask about the ETA for production - it's a big project requiring a large investment so it's hard to say.

So the single SA-8 v.2 has been doing great for quite a while with the PSI PR but now that production is in and all pre-orders have shipped I decided I wanted to step it up a bit to THREE of them. What would be the best box for a Nissan 350Z, I can't decide whether to go with 2 SA8's or a single X8, I will be powering it with an Arc Audio 2500CXL which puts out a little over 1000 watts.

Alright, not sure if jacob remembers but I bought a used 1500D off a guy named Rob E and it started blowing fuses everytime the amp would turn on...........and now, surprisingly im having the same problem. Amp ran just fine for almost a year then all of a sudden it just cut out during a song. I've been using gold plated 80 amp agu the whole time.....
