When I opened my trunk this morning to let my lil bro look at my subs both of my dustcaps was off. Is that something I should be worried about?

The SAE-1200D will have an MSRP of $499 USD. Once they arrive here at our warehouse we will have some intro sale action on them to get them out there in customers hands

SA-8 D2 w/ Aluminum SPL Coil -- I had a thread about the idea here : http://www.caraudioclassifieds.org/forum/showthread.php?t=53745 151.6 passenger side kick measurement at 68 Hz. We haven't re-clamped since moving stuff around but it was clamping 1670 watts yesterday at 151.0 dB -- HU volume hasn't changed, we simply moved stuff around so we are assuming power isn't a whole lot different. We are going to get another video soon as well... we got a 152.2 in the driver side kick panel. Haven't had time to do a video just yet.

I have a prototype SAE-100.4 on the way with my 1200D shipment... here are a few pictures of it to share : It features a new double sided board design like the SAE-1200D v.2 does. Crossovers are very basic as it is an SAE model and it is also made in China alongside the SAE-1200D. This will NOT replace any SAX multi-channel models... it is simply a part of our lower cost SAE line. There is NO ETA YET... price is also pending.

I'm pretty sure I have the electrical needed, but what do you recommend? -This is for Sundown Audio, not regular members that haven't owned the amp i am referring to in this thread.

  6. How do you wire it to the sub? Like do you have 2 sets of speaker wire entering 1 terminal? Like this: This is how I have it wired up right now. The green sections are basically 3 wires twisted together and taped with electrical tape. So my question is how do I eliminate the electrical tape. I don't want to twist them together. Is there something I can buy to do this? Other then those plastic cap things that you twist on?

What would be the best way to hook up 3 1500's to 6 Sa-12's. Can they be strapped together? Can I use in a master/salve if I put 2 Sa's on each one? Each amp will be running at .5

Well,As I mentioned here. I did get a chance to hook up the second SAZ 3000D today. I measured a nominal 3 ohm load with each coil series and each woofer parallel to eachother. Anyway in theory there would be something to gain (stability if nothing else) running these subs strapped to the 3 ohm load. Initial testing reveals noticeable gain in output and in SQ. BUT there's a nasty engine noise from the subs now. Seems to not be effected by the gain. Both amps connected to the same battery (in the trunk) with <3ft lengths of #1/0 guage. resting at 12.6V car off (total 3 batteries in car). RCA is a 1.5ft piece of high qualtiy patch cable. Now if I ONLY remov…

  9. finally got my system up and running, and after a little break-in preriod to let the spiders soften up a bit, i've finally got a daily system that i can pound on and be happy with. 2x saz3500d's and 2x ns v2 18's in 8 cubes @ 30hz sealed on the dash: so 153.9 @ 37hz on music, 152 @ 30hz. the loud n low champs thread made me decide to post this up so people take the ns V2's into consideration when doing a daily build...they're very capable of getting low while being loud, and the new v2's take abuse like a champ! (not recommended for those who dont know what they're doing)

ok to start off i have a 99 s10 ext cab, with a false floor in the back, under it is a saz 2K, and a 125.2. i started with only about 1" of air space above the amps before the floor, then i found out the 125.2 was getting soo hot i could not even touch it, but would never go into thermal (protect). also that was getting that hot within a 10-15min drive. i also found that it only got hot at high volumes. so today i raised the floor up 3/4" i have about 2" of air space now above the 125.2, i also added right beside the amp blowing over it, a 120mm and a 80mm fan, on the other end of the floor i have a single 80mm blowing over my 2K, as i found it really didnt get that hot. …
