Congrats go to Luz Carter, Team Sundown Audio/Image Dynamics in the MECA SOUND QUALITY Stock class format. She went undefeated this year and pulled off State finals by a close 1/2 point. Sundown isn't just for the knuckle draggers anymore. lol

i have a sa-8 d2 and i was wondering what box would be better. I am going to buy a pre-fab box and don't know which one would be better have a amp running 300 watts rms. just wanting the best option, which one should i get and why? i know it likes a ported box from .6 to 1.25 one is .80 net box so .70 after displacement. this one mentions a 40" port is that good or right for this woofer? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230527532374&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT and the other is 1.10 net and 1.00 after displacement http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350398128241&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

I'm not trying to be rude or anything, I'm curious. What is the difference from the SA-8 SA-10 SA-12, and SA-15 they all can produce about the same db 150 ish single sub. I'm wondering because I just bought a SAX-1200D amp and I was going to get the SA-15 but now I'm unsure what to get. I'm looking to move some air.. Thanks in advance.

Right now I'm building a new box for one 8" sundown Sa-8 that I'll be using until I get another 1 or 2. My current box is tuned too high for my liking. How much square port area is recommended for these subs? What is the lowest you would recommend I tune the box to? Right now I'm tuned to 34 hz, between .75 and .85 cubes after displacement by messing with some dimensions, with 13 inches of square port area. Is this enough for one Sa-8? I don't want to make too big of a box for it per Jacob's recommendations. Thanks.

My (2) SAZ-3500 get hot, really hot. Is this common in this amplifier? My Voltage stays around 13.5 on full tilt, and sometimes it'll go to 12.7 on long continues bass notes when on full tilt, when not on full tilt it's 14's. I got a 320amp Alternator from DC and (4) XS Power D3100s as secondary batts. Thanks Jacob

Im either wanting to pre-order the saz-1500d v.2 in the next day or two for 400$. Or I was looking at the Saz-2000d in the B-stock Refurb section for 400$ and have a little headroom. Power is going to an XCON by the way. Any input is appreciated.

I finally got to put power to my pair of sa10 subs. I have 2 wired to 1 ohm in 2.5 cu ft net tuned to 32 hz with 40 sq in of port. They are running off my saz-1500d. And are taking it no problem. I only have about an hour of play time on them. So we'll how much they loosen up. So far I'm impressed. I'm coming from an re sx 15 in 4.2 cu ft net tuned to 32 hz running @2 ohms off the same saz-1500d. They are a little louder than the sx15, but night and day cleaner. They hit so much tighter than the sx. Rock and metal are enjoyable again. My current electrical is seriously lacking and I've got some bad voltage drop. So I know there is more in them. Over all I'm very happy wi…

I have a Sundown Audio Nightshade v.1 12" sub dual 2ohm coil's. I was wondering what is the process of getting it reconed? How long does it normally take? And how much is it to be done? Thank you very much for your time and great products. Also is there any options to upgrade it any? And how much would those options be. And are they worth it? I have a sundownAudio SAZ1500d for amp. Big three done and tons of zero guage wire also running second battery.

ok, so i have a nightshade 18 now, but i am thinking of switching to 4 SA-8s. i would have slightly less cone area (201 vs 254) but wouldn't i also have a higher amount of motor force and air displacement because of the added xmax of 4 woofers vs 1 woofer? what do you guys think? on the 1500 watts im running now, what would be the better route? im really just going for daily listening, i don't compete. there is also the wow factor of popping the hatch and saying "yea...those are 8s" but any input is appreciated. also, please don't flame for this being another vs thread, im really just trying to find the relationship between motor force and cone area.

Hey Guys. Well, I traded my SAZ-3500D and got 2 SAZ-2000D's. Here is a pic. It is hard to believe all of that is in my spare tire well. Each amp is wired to each Sundown Nightshade 15 dual 2 ohm at 1 ohm each. Little SPL Box. Hoping to do a 151+ at NSPL World Finals tomorrow.

... do not call from a blocked number or name, your call will not be answered. Sales people love calling us so we do not answer these calls. Also... MUCH more effective than leaving a phone message would be to e-mail me if you can't reach us by phone on the first try. We don't publish the number on our site since it is NOT the best way to reach us... often times we cannot get to the phone.
