Shipped prices are to the continental 48 states. Paypal ONLY unless I authorize another form of payment ahead of time. ---------- 1) Set of very nice passive crossovers. I had these made in 2003 and never used them... designed for a 4 ohm mid and an 8 ohm tweeter along with 0 db and -3dB positions for the tweeter. Originally made for VIFA PL 4.5" and Audax TM025F1 with a crossover point of around 3.5khz or so at 12 dB per octave. Yes, those are 12 gauge copper foil inductors that you see. Inductors alone are valued at: 2x 0.5 mH 12 awg @ $56.60 2x 0.68 mH 12 awg @ $66.30 These also have Solen Poly Capacitors... very high quality crossover designed with LEAP at Madisound. …

  2. currently i run 2 12s off 2 1500ds... i am am having issues with wheter to stick with the 12's or change baskets and softparts to 15's... but before i go that route i wanna know how loud can 2 12's get in an optimal enclosure to acheive a little more loudness and range from these subs. as of right they they are crazy loud!!!!! but you always wanna a little more to see what these beasts can do. i've been talkin to pete about another box for my tweles and possibly 1 if i choose to recone them... we were working on a design that will have the subs drop as low as 15-20hz and still sound good all the way up to 90hz (daily beater) the box i have now is 4.4 cubes @ 35hz and real…

Im just trying to find out if i'm uninformed or really missing a part. I received my brand new SAX-200.4D on Friday, May 20. Super excited, I pulled it from the box and upon giving the amp a good looking over, I found it was missing the black plastic switch for the High/Full/Low pass crossover for channels 1&2. Its been awhile since i was involved in car audio, but dont we still need these switches? I already tried talking to the authorized internet dealer, but i was told to talk to the manufacturer. So quick to take your money, but so useless when it comes to help. im just worried i threw a bunch of money out the door. any help would be appreciated.

Hi so I have a saz 1200d I'm trying to tune it an with the crossover having a wide range from 35hz to 300 I'm trying to find 80hz to 90hz...I have heard that half way was 80hz but Idk... I'm looking at it like the 300-35= 265/2= 132+35= 167hz would be half way with that math.

  9. 143.3db out of a trunk, unmodified rear deck, seats up with a single 15, a new NSPL World Record. Found out my alternator was dying and was only charging at 11.6V also, so burps were done in the 10.7V range also, so not too bad for the 1st time out with the overnight install. Another show on April 8th, at that show we'll get serious and throw down some 149-150's with the seats up.

I have two to build so far -- IIRC this one was a drill slip into the surround. In any event -- just finished the first one and it looks neat so I took a few photos : * This is where it really varies from our other kits. The spider spacer along with dual triple joint rings. You cannot see the 2nd triple joint ring but it is in between the spider layers. It did take a good bit of time to assemble; which is why these kits are "expensive" compared to our other SA kits.

The SA-8 shipment is due Wednesday roughly. Disclaimer... PLEASE DO NOT e-mail me or post asking about your specific order ship-date. We will e-mail tracking to you or your dealer through the automated system; all orders will go out in the order they were received and as quickly as we possibly can. I expect that it will take into next week to get them all out.

Ok, I contacted you guys via Facebook to ask some questions about how the Nightshade V1's, and I have yet more questions, but I figured they would be best suited for the forums to inform other people with similar questions. First off.. Do you sell a recone kit for the NSV1's and if so, what's the price? Secondly, I know you said 2.0 Cubed is about right (NOT PORTED) for the NSV1, but I'm sick of seeing the same square/Rectangle boxes, with the same slot-ports. Any ideas on a cool looking (and still functional) box? All would be done with 3/4 MDF, and if so, what programs do you recommend for designing boxes? Thanks SD, you guys have fulfilled my Audiophile needs! I don…

Before I recommend this build to someone, I want to be sure it would sound ok. I have an associate that has a late 70s Vette. Baddass little car. The previous owner installed a flip screen Pioneer deck, and updated the speakers. He says it sounds ok, and gets loud but lacks the lower end like most installs that don't include subwoofers. What he wants is just to include the low end that the upgraded speakers lack, while retaining as much room as possible due to the tiny cabin this car has. My initial recommendation would be to go with the Sundown E10D4 in a sealed enclosure being powered by the Alpine MRP-M500. My enclosure would be a simple cube with internal volume measu…

I've made repeated efforts to get an invoice for one of the amps I bought from DB-r over the last 6 months. I've posted here and sent e-mails to db-r. Neither of you have lifted a finger to help me. I've come to the conclusion that Sundown support is all hype because when I needed some help I couldn't get any at all. The next time I spend a grand on audio equipment it will be someplace else.

Picked up the proto from Jacob about a month ago. Finished up the box last night and wanted to share some pics. specs: 1.85 cf3 after displacements 3/4 birch that isn't really 3/4 6" aero 31hz tune sub: port: I flush mounted it then cut another plate to fit on the inside. That gave me more surface to epoxy and helped seal up the giant hole on the backside. Painted it several coats of hammered black. Used 1" dowel rods for bracing and support of the port.
