So before i decided to put the amp back in the truck after its been out for a year, i decided to just check out the board for shits and giggles, and saw this So i want to get this fixed but I don't have a repair shop near me and it'd cost an arm an a leg to ship it somewhere in the lower 48 to get fixed. If i were to ship it out i might as well just get a new amp, so i'd like to attempt to fix this myself. Idk if the resistors are bad for sure as i cant get to the other side with the dmm to test them. Jacob I was wondering do you plan on coming out with a larger SAZ model anytime in the near future? I am strongly considering buying 2 more SAZ-3000D's, but if you are planning on coming out with maybe a SAZ-6000D I may hold off for a while.

So... I got tired of not going to any shows so I've thrown something in the CRX. Took my "magic box" from the Jeep and threw my prototype Monster 15" in there as it was the only D1 sub I found laying around and powered it with the prototype 2500D. * Stinger SPP1500 under the hood with oval 1/0 Stinger flex wire -- one run power and one run ground to the back. * Upgraded factory ground wire here too. * Got it in behind the b-pillar. SAX-100.4 under the box. * Wire mess with distribution blocks. * Magic box in all of it's glory. * SAZ-2500D is under these boards. So I have been thinking about going to 16 volts. What do you guys think? How much more power should I expect to see from the 1500's?

I want to know what the damping factor is @1 ohm, 2ohm and 4ohm also wnat to know how many amps the amp takes from the electrical system at all ohms, should be ok on my stock alt 100amps

Heard one tonight... Wow. The owner was Toby from T&J Elite Customs in Oldsmar, FL. Was in an Escalade, probably an 04 or so. Was a SAZ-3000D running a Critical Mass 5000 in a box that was around 3 cubes tuned to 38hz. SAX-100.2 on the Critical Mass comp set. Entire system was 1 12, 2 6.5s, and 2 tweeters. Those components screamed! They sounded great, and blended perfectly. The sub was probably the best sounding woofer Ive ever heard. Couldnt even tell there was a sub, you would think it was actually a bass drum. As good as it sounded, he metered it and it was right at 144.xdbs on the Termlab, legal. He is a Sundown dealer and was playing with the 3000D and hooked it…

wow this suck's dropped in my second 3000'd strapped @ 1ohm and only gained 1 db so now I'm doing a 151.7 wish i knew were my lost db went i would be up to 152.7. anyway's lot's-o-work ahead now

Hey, jacob or whoeevr is helping me out here, i need some input on the voltage im looking for on my dmm to acheive the full rms. I need some clarification on if i did the calculations right. 1st my sub amp, i running it at 1 ohm load to get the rated 1000 rms. so i would do sqrt(1000*1) = 31.6? 2nd (part i don't get) when i run my 100.4 bridged to 2 channels at 325 rms @ 4 ohm load, how do i do the equation? is it sqrt(325*4) or sqrt(650*4)? so would it be 36 volts, or 51 volts? I found it really outrageously high for the 100.4 to have a 51 volt supply when bridged, so i hope i right at guessing its 36 volts per channel bridged correct? Also, would you recommend runnin…

I have 4 X8 V.2 D4's in a ported box. Im looking for advice on what amp to use and should I drop them to 2ohm? And should I run them off of 1 amp or 2. And what amps are recommended. Help me OB1.

im suppose to pick up some more 0/1 wire and another battery this weekend, but now im wondering if i really need it. this is what is getting used, i have a sundown saz2000, and a sax 125.2. i plan on running it at .6 ohms next season. for electrical i have big 3 done, 220amp alt, 1 run of 0/1 front to back, odyssey 1500 up front, and a odyssey 2150 in the back. now is it worth it for me to jam another battery in the back? i know the more the better, but is it really needed? also, would i benefit from another run of pos front to back?? im just thinking if i can save the money i should. thanks

ok guys heres my prob.1st i have 2 saz3ks on 16v wired 2 half ohm on 4 15.2 NS. gains are about 1/2 or so. my prob is when i start 2 turn up the volume on the HU the subs start 2 pop and go crazy!!!! wha could my prob be? i kno it has more in it but i cant get the volume out of it and i wanna wang it at the dub show comin up 2morrow, so i need 2 fix this prob asap. any hellp ould be greatly appreciated. it start 2 pop at about 35/50 volume on the hu sub level on hu is around -3. around 38 is where i usually stop. never had this prob out of the saz1500s i had. wha could be my issue wit this setup.

Well at the last comp. at Sound Check we decided to through all of my equipment in my buddy Coopers explorer because I have a little Pontiac Grand AM. Before we took everything out of his explorer we had got it to a 150.6 @ 35hz with 3 sundown SAZ-1500d's and 3 15" mojos. Well it was my turn to compete so we pute 1 12" SI Mag in my car with 1 sundown 1500d and went to the comp at Buds to see what I could do. I was in class 1B which is 1-160 sq in of cone area and 501 watts and up. I took first place with a 144.7 (which was really funny cause the JL rep. was calling my amp a mut and I was the second loudest car at the comp next to a van with a wall of 6 15's and 6 1200 wa…

I just picked up some scrap 13' pvc. how can i make sure i get a good square cut?

I've had this amp for about a month now and yesterday as I was driving around I lost power to the front speakers. I thought nothing of it just thinking that the power wire may have slipped out. So when I got home I checked and the power wire is in, all the fuses are fine and there is power flowing through the power wire. The remote wire is also in and has power flowing through it. The amp does not turn on or go into protect. Not sure what else this could be.

This was to be a week of catching up on e-mails BUT the container of SA speakers showed up about a week early so we've spent the week unloading, sorting, and shipping the SA woofers. I've done as many e-mails as possible during but still have over 100 messages to do. ok a freind of mine came down and i ran some 8 gauge to his z1 to my car. my car with 1 nsb-90 and 4 runs 0 gauge did a 150.7 @ 1ohm on the TL my car hooked to the z1 with high output alt a nsb-90 and kinetik 2400 2 feet from the z1 did a 150.2 @ 1ohm we did get 1 test @ .4 ohm and it did a 152.2 but did'nt have enough time to mess around because we needed to recone his xxx's but i will be adding a very large battery to my system to see if i can't get my amp's to do .4 ohm for a show on saturday and i will post number's later this week
