what do i need to power this amp correctly?

Hi so I have a saz 1200d I'm trying to tune it an with the crossover having a wide range from 35hz to 300 I'm trying to find 80hz to 90hz...I have heard that half way was 80hz but Idk... I'm looking at it like the 300-35= 265/2= 132+35= 167hz would be half way with that math.

I know some people are waiting on these -- I expected them this week but I just called and they are telling me Monday now. So... anyone waiting on either of this will get shipped Monday - Tuesday next week.

Was bored so I was designing a new amp rack and then shifted over to making the amp look realistic. NO it is not exact to measurements of the amp, and I don't think I have the patience for that, well I might. Anyway it's 80% done, I have 1 more logo to add to it, and finish the RCA side of the amplifier.

Ok, You NEED to Get Ahold of the Wire thats Inside of the SAZ3000D's.... It has Cursive writing on it, and It's Obviously TOP-NOTCH Wire! I Need Like 200ft Of it in 1/0!

Hey guys, Just for the record I do own, use and love a SAZ1500D. This was asked by my son's friend after seeing my amp, and listening what it could do powering my TC3000. He is planning a dual 10 inch box, has not bought woofers as of yet. true power output sound quality/control of woofers power delivered requirements (Stock Mazda 3 electrical) Is there a reason one of you gents and/or ladies would buy one or the other? Due to all the negative comments that were way out of line imo on the announcement of the new SAZ-2500D. I think Jake you should post a sticky stating that all Sundown Products and specifications are subject to change due to continuing upgrades, modifications and improvements! This would help clarify to all that Sundown continues to develop and improve new models and older models will be phased out.

Hey Guys. Well, I traded my SAZ-3500D and got 2 SAZ-2000D's. Here is a pic. It is hard to believe all of that is in my spare tire well. Each amp is wired to each Sundown Nightshade 15 dual 2 ohm at 1 ohm each. Little SPL Box. Hoping to do a 151+ at NSPL World Finals tomorrow.

well guys i had all these plans for my mazda.. i finally figured the car out as far as getting it loud. and today i had a wreck. it had soo much force it broke the screws out of the metal holding the box down and shoved it through the trunk opening.

went to a DB drag event this weekend .. won the 150-159.9 bass race class.. qualified with a 156.1 witch was kool.. won the finals with barelly a 155.. i hit the pause button twice on the start !! what a dummy.. but i still was able to catch up and win.. anyways the sundown amps kicked ass.. well hope everyone had a good weekend !!! lil-john-

Okay so my next system will be (2) 12" Z v3's and (2) SAZ-3500D's, I was curious if anyone knew the specs for a ported enclosure. I would run both amps at 1 ohm. I'm just curious as to how much more room is needed. I have (2) SA-12's in a 3.5 cu. ft box tuned to 30Hz. I would like to stay somewhere around there. I cannot find the thread that had the specs for the soon to be released Z v3's

Through them in a box I had laying around the shop yesterday. They are being powered by a pair of saz-3500s @ 0.5ohm each. Vid. Got my new box built today. It works MUCH better. Because I had to move the amps to the back of the truck my rcas weren't long enough. Using some y-splitters as a ghetto extension I was able to get one amp going. With only one saz-3500d @ 1ohm on both subs it hit a 149.1 on the TL. Did the same exact # playing some music too. More vids tomorrow.

which way should i go. i have 16 mids for the MINI. all 8 ohm. 8 per door. they will be wired in pairs of 4, in parallel, making each set of 4 mids a 2 ohm load. so its either 2 100.2s, with 8 mids per amp (basically 1 amp per door) running each channel at 2 ohms or 1 100.4, running 4 mids per channel, at 2 ohms. the 100.2 is rated 200 x 2 @ 2 ohms the 100.4 is rated 160 x 2 @ 2 ohms i know the 100.2 is supposedly a little more underrated than the 100.4 is, but i found a good deal (IMO) on 2 100.2s, bnib for 370 shipped. what do you guys think?

I ordered a 3500D and now looking into purchasing a second battery. I currently have an older group 34 optima yellow top under the hood, 1/0 gauge wire ran to the trunk and the big 3 done. I'll be buying a 200 amp alt soon as well. I'm having a hard time deciding on which battery is the best between the Kinetik HC3800 or the PowerMaster D3100. I'm unable to find the complete stats on both. Some stats I have found, the Kinetik has 135AH and the PowerMaster has 117AH. The Kinetik is rated for a 3800 watt system and the PowerMaster 4000/5000+ watts. I havent been able to find CCA or CA for either although I did find the PowerMaster is rated for 3,200A Max Amps. Friends. I have ordered a FI Q12 (Dual 2 OHMS) single sub that will go into a ported sub-woofer enclosure just as soon as I can get in contact with pound that sound. First, I am trying to find out what's the difference between the following two amps, if there is any. a. Sundown Audio SAZ-1000D = RMS 600 x 1 watts @ 2 ohms b. Sundown Audio SAE-1200D = RMS 600 x 1 watts @ 2 ohms Secondly, will either of these two be sufficient enough to power that particular sub since both are 2ohms x 1 600 RMS--------------------(underrated) ? a.

Ok, I have a SAZ-3000D that i will be using on 3 dual 2 ohm aa havocs in a 6.2 cube enclosure tuned to 32hz. My question is, will this amp be enough power to push them to their potential? I have the big three done in 1/0, dual runs to the rear, 3x yellowtops in rear, redtop up front and mechman 270A alt. What kind of power can i expect from this setup out of this amp? I been thinking of upgrading to a saz-3500d, but is the trade off worth it? If i will only be gaining 200-300 wrms then ill just keep the 3000d. Feel free to chime in and give your feedback on this. just lookin to make my door speakers loud i wanted to just grab a 100.4 for all 4 doors or will there be any difference if i use two 100.2's
