So I have been browsing several different subs the last few weeks to go with my Sae-1200d. This sub seems like it might be right up my alley, But I am wondering when it will be available, and the price point?

Runs on 240v AC -- supplying 260 amps continuous current set to 14.8v Hooked up to some Stinger SPV-70s... need to get one more in there. Should do quite well... this replaces our prior setup of three Pyramid 40-amp units (only one recently as we blew up the other two). We went through those on a regular basis... this should be more reliable and much more power than we had before.

For sale is a cosmetically damaged Sundown SAZ-1500D. This amplifier is fully functional except for the remote input. im looking to talk to the guys that currently run nightshades. questions for the guys with the stock sub (not been reconed yet) 1 how much power are you runing to them? 2 daily or burps 3 share with me how you like it, questions for the guys with the upgreaded recone. 1 how much power are you running. 2. how do you like the stronger spider? 3 tell me how much more you love the sub after the recone. the reason being, i want to run 2 nightshade 15's on a pair of straped saz 3000ds i have never blown a sub runing daily, and i dont wanna start now! or 1 saz at 16 volts. i was thinking to run two BTLs. but i would really like to stay sundown ONLY>

im wonderin what the specs will be on this amp as far as how many watts at what ohm. and i plan on gettin 2 BTL's so what VC config would i get them in and hoiw would i wire them??

Made for local customer -- thought it would be fun to use the Z v.3 spider on the NS v.2 -- we have about 44.5mm of motor clearance and this spider will allow you to reach it. Pretty impressive to see free air I also am experimenting with a former cap as he is running high power. The cap will enhance the effectiveness of our coil cooling setup. Once I get the dust cap glued I'll run specs -- it is still pretty fresh but I gave it a nice run free air before gluing on the former cap.

Quick gain setting question. I am running the 1000D on a AA Havoc, which is a 1200W rms driver, at 1ohm. When I set the gain using the DMM method to attain an output of 1000W with at an ideal 1ohm load the VAC reading should be about 31.6. However, at this level the output of the driver does not seem to be anywhere near it's full potential. When I actually measured the impedance of the sub wired at "1ohm" it was in the 1.2-1.4ohm range. So my question is should I use sqrt(1000*1.4)= 37.4VAC instead of sqrt(1000*1)=31.6VAC when setting the gain? Also, how do you normally factor in the bass boost, LPF, and sub-sonic filter settings when setting the gain? Thanks!!!!

Two Stinger SPV-70 Batteries / 40-amp Power Supply / 8 awg wire power and Ground (this amp should have 4 awg) Wired to 1 ohm nominal : 1170 Watts @ 12.5 volts 1.97 ohms after impedance rise Wired to 0.5 ohm nominal : 1490 Watts @ 11.1 volts 0.85 ohms after impedance rise --- Measured with my Extech True RMS power clamp meter several seconds into the tone @ 60 Hz -- this typically reads about ~15-16% less than a "dual peak hold" amp clamp test. We'll do some more testing with a more adequate power wire coming up soon. The test bench 4 awg has the ends tinned so is a bit too big to go into the SAX-1200D terminals -- will need to get it in a vehicle.

Finally getting started. Car already had a system. Its about 6 or so years old. Going to redo all of it from battery back. New system includes Replacing 4g with Shok 0g. I am leaving January 4th and returning the 12th -- so will be back to work on the 13th or so. While I am gone some orders that can simply be boxed and shipped will be completed -- customized items, re-cones, etc will wait until I get back. Got the amp racks made with Andrew. Wrapped in carpet till we ran out.. All wires ran, tucked away, with a battery tray in the wheel well to hold my batteries. 2 SAZ 3000D's 2 18" Nightshades(custom) 3 DEKA Intimidators 1 Maxx-Link 1 Wall tuned to 65Hz Gonna live soon, wall will be installed this week, so more picstures to come. More pictures soon, how's it look so far? I'm doing my best on this install....I want it to be just straight out god awful annoyingly loud..but I want it to be a very clean install as well.

i am in the market for an amp to power my tc-5200. the two i can not decide between are the z1 and the 3000d. will the 3000d put out comparable power to the z1? they are both rated 3000 rms at 1 ohm, and i know the z1 is very underrated. what are your opinions? i know this is the sundown forum, so your opinions may be biased but i figure you know more about the 3000d since it isn't even out yet.

Just unloaded them after lunch; we'll start shipping pre-orders tomorrow. I am really pleased with how they turned out. I wanted to see them before starting more production -- and we sold about 75% of what we got -- so there will be a period of out-of-stock on them; but we should have steady stock starting after the 2nd run !

Went from 2 saz 1500s to 4. We pulled a 157.6 at the head. It was good enough for a best of show at our April fools MECA event. Thought I would just share the info. Amps are killer!!!!

Building a new box for my 15" nightshade. Going to be running (3) 4" external aeros and was thinking about ~2-2.5 cu ft before displacement.. Will be testin different port lengths after I get the box built to see what does the best. Any input?

i want to run (once the saz 3500) a 3500. i was wondering what electrical i would need to do. obviously the big 3 but what kinda alternator and batteries would i need? (also will have a saz100.4 for the doors)
