Finally getting started. Car already had a system. Its about 6 or so years old. Going to redo all of it from battery back. New system includes Replacing 4g with Shok 0g. (in the mail now) New Battery Alpine Type R Components (alrdy in car) Alpine deck (alrdy in car) JL 6W0 in rear spots for midbass (alrdy in car) Front half and doors ardy has Dynomat Extrme Doing hatch in second skin (in the mail) also adding luxury liner pro to doors and rear finder wells SD 100.4D for components and midbass (aldry have) SD 1500D for subs (still need this one, so if anyone has a used one shoot me a pm) 4 SA-8s running 1ohm (alrdy have) start with pic of car and old hatch that…

Called my shipping company and they say I should have my pallets on Tuesday -- would be sooner but Holiday closings are delaying it a bit. So... we'll be shipping as many amps as we can next week, hope to have pre-orders cleared out by Friday next week.

need new amp. quick question.... how would it hold up @ .7 ohms? with, 230A alt, Yellow top under hood, Kinetik 2400 in back, 1/0 under hood & back, second run there but not hooked up, It's either .7 or 2.8, two Quad .7 coil subs... TC-3000. I could do two 1500's @ 1.4 ohm each I guess... but I rather like the idea of one big amp... Ideas?

Im looking for large stickers that i've seen on peoples car that says "Sundown Audio" Or "team sundown audio" Fairly large that are to be placed on the back of your window. Any prices? and how much shipped to 64068? Such as But for sundown obviously

got 2nd place at USACI thing they had here. it kinda sucked , and wasnt fair to everyvbody. I know I could have done better. This was my first time out without any help or pre-testing or anything. There are a lot of things I will do different the next time out... but you live and you learn. 3 RE SX 15" 2 Sundown SAZ 1500d's Sundowns never got warm hardly!!!

i lost my remote amp controller, and i am looking either for a new that i can buy off sundown, somone that has an extra. or one that i can get that is a different brand that will work on my sundown 1000d. thanks for the help. kevin

i want to run (once the saz 3500) a 3500. i was wondering what electrical i would need to do. obviously the big 3 but what kinda alternator and batteries would i need? (also will have a saz100.4 for the doors)

I was wondering how powerful are the sundown 3000D amps? I have a 91 Acura Integra, and im working on a system with a Fi BTL 18" tuned to 33hz... I was gonna get the RF T20001bd to run it, but then I ran across sundown, and honestly, I don't know too much about them, but im reading good things..... So now im in a toss up here.... I know the T series fosgates are under rated, but I need peoples honest opinion here.... do you think I could get a lil more out of the 3000D than the RF T2K? How well you think that 3000d will move that BTL? I F'N hate decisions!!! haha Help me decide please, Thanks.... John

As some of you may know, I am the one who had the first pair of Nightshades delivered, thanks a whole lot Chad and Jacob. I've run into major financial problems and I need a little bit of room to breathe. My subs are the ones pictured in most of the earlier threads from Chad. The subs are still in mint condition and were only hooked up for a maximum of 3 weeks due to amp and now engine problems. I can post more pictures but as the title says, 15" Nightshade D2. i went to get something to eat earlier and went to play my system that im tryn hard not to use till the season starts and i rolled into a beat really quick,which i shouldnt have,but did,and my amp cut off.its a 1500d and it didnt go into protect just turned off.i turned my head unit off and checked my fuse and it was fine.i turned the hu back on and it came right back on.weird huh.its dark right now so i couldnt check to c if a sub blew or what,but its still hittn hard as heck!!!anybody now what happened?thanks

check it out, i know sum of you know what i have but lemme get it out of the way. 3 yellow tops, 200 amp alt 1 run of 0 gauge front to back 2 2/0 ground saz 3000d 2 bl 15's 3 250 amp circut breakers..... when i let it wang..... for maybe 10 mins on a constant bass song say i donno somthing young jezzy my circuit breaker between my amp and cell pack pops...,,, my voltage is 13-13.5 this is how my cable goes...... cells.... 15 inches of 0 gauge... circut...3 feet of 0 gauge... amp. jacob.. should i change some chit around? or step up to a 300 amps breaker........ ps NONE of the others are tripping

Well,As I mentioned here. I did get a chance to hook up the second SAZ 3000D today. I measured a nominal 3 ohm load with each coil series and each woofer parallel to eachother. Anyway in theory there would be something to gain (stability if nothing else) running these subs strapped to the 3 ohm load. Initial testing reveals noticeable gain in output and in SQ. BUT there's a nasty engine noise from the subs now. Seems to not be effected by the gain. Both amps connected to the same battery (in the trunk) with <3ft lengths of #1/0 guage. resting at 12.6V car off (total 3 batteries in car). RCA is a 1.5ft piece of high qualtiy patch cable. How many amp hours will be needed to run a Saz-3000d on .5 ohms? i will be having a 270 amp alt. thanks, Julian.

Two Stinger SPV-70 Batteries / 40-amp Power Supply / 8 awg wire power and Ground (this amp should have 4 awg) Wired to 1 ohm nominal : 1170 Watts @ 12.5 volts 1.97 ohms after impedance rise Wired to 0.5 ohm nominal : 1490 Watts @ 11.1 volts 0.85 ohms after impedance rise --- Measured with my Extech True RMS power clamp meter several seconds into the tone @ 60 Hz -- this typically reads about ~15-16% less than a "dual peak hold" amp clamp test. We'll do some more testing with a more adequate power wire coming up soon. The test bench 4 awg has the ends tinned so is a bit too big to go into the SAX-1200D terminals -- will need to get it in a vehicle.

The victim all torn out progress from yesterday Im working on getting that piece on the other side in Im hopeing to get more done before I go back to work tomorrow not exacly the most motivated person at times its going to be alteast 2 layers on the sides and back and a tripple baffle I might go thicker on the dides depending on how these first layers go up this layer is pretty rough not really that square so I might have to go thicker to get what I want from it no big deal really its just the shape of the bare sheet metal sucks. and the gear
