I have a prototype SAE-100.4 on the way with my 1200D shipment... here are a few pictures of it to share : It features a new double sided board design like the SAE-1200D v.2 does. Crossovers are very basic as it is an SAE model and it is also made in China alongside the SAE-1200D. This will NOT replace any SAX multi-channel models... it is simply a part of our lower cost SAE line. There is NO ETA YET... price is also pending.

is there any significant output differences between these amps. I would like the 1500 but its out my price range rite now. Besides the sae being unstrappable are there any advantages to using the saz. Still considering the sub at moment.

Think the subs would be able to handle that kinda power birth sheet is 3303rms at 1 ohm and thats what i would wire them to box would around .75 cubes per sub tuned to 36 htz maybe a lil lower looking to be louder than the btl 15

is it possible to get the diagram of the board layout?

I know some people are waiting on these -- I expected them this week but I just called and they are telling me Monday now. So... anyone waiting on either of this will get shipped Monday - Tuesday next week.

I just want to say thank you to Jacob at Sundown with all the help he has given me. I purchased an SAE-1200v1 from a person on another forum, and as soon as I hooked the amp up it went into protection. I checked my wiring, and even hooked up another amp, which worked fine, but the Sundown just kept going into protection. This was on a Sunday, and Monday morning I sent Jacob an email asking if there was a remedy to my problem. Okay after researching and deciding on Sundown Audio SA-12's the time or should I say box has arrived and I have nothing but praise for Jacob and Sundown Audio. I don't have the space to list all of the different subs I have used over the years but if you can name them, chances are I have owned a pair. These subs absolutely lived up to the hype. I just wanted to post a thread saying thank you to Jacob over at Sundown for some excellent customer service. It could not have gone any better. Story: A few weeks ago I started to have problems with my SAE-1200Dv1. It was mysteriously jumping in and out of protect. I tried to troubleshoot myself but could not get it working, so I sent Jacob an e-mail for some assistance. He asked me to verify my voltages with a DMM and everything checked out alright. However, the amp was still going into protect. After about a week of troubleshooting, trying to avoid an RMA, he decided it was best to just send the amp in. can i order just a bass knob for an saz 1500?

so my dads drag racing buddy has a car audio shop and he has 2 saz1500d's that need repaired. waitin to here if he can get it done. but would it be cheaper if i got them from him as is for cheap and sent them for repair? if so where would i send them and what would be the average pricing? theres a place her in oklahoma city called toms two way or sumthin like that that repairs all kinds of electronics including amps. would that be a good idea?

Wat do you guys think would be louder and better option for my camaro ? I have the power for either and about 3.5 cubes for the box after displacement Wats the max guys are running on these new 8s i have heard some where around 800 rms but i would throw around 500 rms to each just wondering if i should invest in these subs Thanks Guys

I wanted to know how to strap together 2 of the amps? Do you have to run power, ground and remote to both or just master?

Just curious what head unit some of you are using. I've been using a Kenwood kdc-x791 for the last year and I hate it. It sounds good but the screen is horrible in daytime and the interface is the worst I've ever seen. Anyone have a good suggestion in the $300-$400 range? I mostly play mp3 so that feature is a must.

i have 2 sa-12 dual 4. i cant find another dual 4 can i wire in a dual 2 with them. is it possible? and what will the ohm load be on the mono amp? will they all get the same power

I was told with a nightshade you have the option to add extra spiders. Is that true? If so what does extra spiders do?
