So... SA-8 a little too big / powerful / deep for you ? I'm working on the E8 v.2 model as well for those of you who fit that description. Due to all the negative comments that were way out of line imo on the announcement of the new SAZ-2500D. I think Jake you should post a sticky stating that all Sundown Products and specifications are subject to change due to continuing upgrades, modifications and improvements! This would help clarify to all that Sundown continues to develop and improve new models and older models will be phased out.

OK I just got my amp from DB-R today. All I have to say is that this thing is beautiful but frightening. Still waiting on my Fi 15" BLs. This is my first upper class amp. So all of you well experienced bass heads what should I expect out this amp?

Hey guys, We are back-logged for a bit on woofer building here. The Z v.2 shipment landed last week and we have been SLAMMED ever since. We also sold the last stack of BM 10s to a customer and have been working to get those out to him. So... expect a bit longer lead time to get a sub if you order one we have to build. I was pokein around the net and I read that sundown, IA, RD and Stetsom all use the EXACT same boards built by a build house out of china named ZENON. This company is supposed to make High end boards for these companies. So my question is...I have a few grand cash for my next amp why should I go with sundown when RD and IA are less if they are the same?

well yesterday i went down to Andrews, SC to meet with Walt(cookiemonster) to pick up some new sundown goodies. Already had a saz1500 so i picked up 4 sa12's and a saz1000d. Walt gave me class A service. 2 of these are for my truck with the saz1500 and the other 2 go in my wifes honda pilot with the saz1000d....i got the two in my truck yesterday and all i can say is wow...so much better than my re se's

Every message I sent today was rejected by my server... just got all of the errors all at once at the end of the day. I am going to make the official announcement now that we are sold out of new SAZ-2000Ds -- yes, I am in fact sold out... a few used ones remain but that is it. To replace it I am developing an SAZ-2500D model. This is a new board tooling for Sundown and is ours in the USA exclusively just like the SAZ-3500D. I have a guy trying to sell me a nightshade 12 that the rim where the surround meets is cracked. I am just wondering could that be fixed and if so, howe much would it be. He said that it was supposedly damaged in shipping.

ok so when jacob opens up the pre-sale on these i will be ordering 6, they will be ran off of a saz-3500D at .7ohm. now i used a box calc. off of the *** forum, and got my box all figured out, its just the port thats confusing me, can someone help me out with this as to i cant figure out my actually port cut outs, the box will be in a 99 s10 ext cab, subs forward, port up (drivers side) here are the specs of the box. 6 10" Sundown sa's box height - 29 depth - 14 Length - 43 Port height - 12.5 width - 7.5 length - 24.5 net air space 6.24ft3. port area 93.75 in2. @32.33 thanks!!

I miss calculated on my port and I am tuned to 29Hz instead of 32Hz. My box is ~5.3 cubes after displacements, I have 20.5'' of port (13.5'' in the box and 7'' out). I am going to cut the port down at the top. Will I notice an audiable change? I mostly play decafs chopped/screwed songs and I dont think they dip under 30hz, if they do its only breifly. Is 29 too low for a nightshade? Its ran off an AQ2200 @ 1 ohm

Recently my 1200D has been going into protect after about 30 seconds of being on and I have no idea what's causing it. I always let me car run for a few minutes before turning my amps on (they are both on switches). Two days ago I went and bought all new brass screws, bolts, and washers and re-did my grounds for both the Sundown and my Pheonix Gold amp. I sanded the paint off the area and tightened them down. Yesterday I pulled the Sundown out of my car and opened it up to make sure nothing burned up. Visually, everything looks perfect and my fuses are intact. I guess the problem started when I got my component set but I don't see how that could be the issue. I've checked…
