im considering 2 SA-12's sealed 1.5 each off a sae-1200d. This sub work well sealed? Im curious about xmax specs on them.They seem VERY well built which is one of the reasons they are a top choice atm

I'm wanting to upgrade my front stage . i have a saz 1000d with an icon 12'' box built to specs. i'm leaning torwards rainbow slc 265.25 since my id CX.62 v2's blew ( friends borrow + drinking = blown ) the amp i have for them is a cheap performance technique. i was wondering if the sax 125.2 is good for frontstage.. simple question but i want to confirm before spending $$ thanks!

I recently just purchased a set of Rainbow Germaniums (150w RMS) and a Profi 12" subwoofer (DVC 2ohm - 50~350w RMS). Currently I have eD amps in my car (9.2 & 9.1) and I've heard alot of great things about Sundown amps. The SAX-100.4 caught my eye after seeing pictures of it, but not sure if it's gonna work with my setup. If I run Channels 1-2 to my Germaniums and have Channels 3-4 to my sub (needs to be 2ohm if possible), would this be a possible setup?? I know the Germaniums will not get the power it needs @ 100x2, but if I bridged the 100.4, then that is way too much power for them. Also, how many watts will the Profi sub be getting if I bridged the rear chann…

Just finished wiring up my car and I'm kinda confused about the settings on the amp. Heres my setup: SAX 100.4 (#1) Bridged 1&2 = Left Mid Bridged 3&4 = Right Mid SAX 100.4 (#2) Ch 1 - Left Tweeter Ch 2 - Right Tweeter Ch 3&4 = Saved for future sub Ok from my previous installed with a Pioneer Premiere 860MP running actively, I know where I want my Xovers to be at, but I just dont know how set that on the amp. Its been four years since I last setup my system. I recently swapped headunits to a Pioneer Avic D3 and now will be going passive. Will 2 15" SA 15s have enough room as of specs in a ported box that is approximately 36" long, 18" deep and 24" tall? Just wondering because I would like to put two 15s in the cab of my 98 s10 extended cab.

Started in on the install.. Wish I had more ground cable, we decided to do multiple runs and I don't have enough grey/silver since we used some for more power wire.. doh. It'll all be hidden anyway. Lots more to do (probably a couple more days worth).. I'll keep the pics coming.

So to make a long story short I have a polk amp that puts out 573 watts rms. The rated rms level for the e 12 is 400 and my amp can't even push it. I don't know if it is because the sub hasn't broken in yet or if because this sub is simply a Badass. Anyway the point I am trying to make is... Thanks Jacob for making a beast subwoofer. Now just time to get a more Badass amp to push this bad boy.

Hi all, I've read here and there not to use the bass boost( because of clipping signal?). But, if it is so bad, why do we have it on the Sundown amps like my saz 1000 D ? How and when to use it? Mine is still set to the minimum, and my 15" Icon seems to love it:)!

Something we are working on... Was designed around the needs of our NEO-8 project : Project I'm Working On - Car Audio Classifieds But will eventually find it's way into other projects... I've started a new Ferrite 8" design to be used with this frame... depending on the cost / performance may move up to X8 designation (based on motor the size of the SA-12). It is a bit over-sized from a standard 8" cut-out and OD but that was needed to get a large spider on an eight finally ETA not set yet... but keep your eyes out !

hey guys I tried posting in the fab section about my box, but figured I'd post here as well considering this is the board ive been reading for the past year. but anywho, last summer i came across a fellow on here from saskatoon,SK which happens to be where im from, said he would build me a box, but i just didnt have the dough at the time....just hopeing he's still here. I think he had an oilers logo as his avatar. but if not could someone pleeeeeease hook me up with a design/blueprint for my 2 12" r's off a 1500D @1ohm. I'm planning on purchasing the SAZ-3000D for my Nissan Sentra and would like to upgrade my alternator. What size alternator would you recommend?

Greetings currently own a z v.4 10. It is a 97 Tahoe being ran off of a saz 2500 v.2. It would be more cost effective to re-cone it to a 18". it would cost little over twice as much two add another z v.4 10, but just because it cost less doesn't mean it will sound better. basically I'm after more output. better low end extension. I had it in my cutlass and it sounded great but in the Tahoe I have a lot more cabin space. any suggestions between the two? thanks in advance for the input.

Went to get my brand new SAZ 1500D installed today but when they hooked it up it wouldn't work. The amp turns on and gets hot but won't play. They took it out and put in a jl amp and it played great. They also hooked the amp up to some machine (forgot the name) to see if it would work and nothing is there anything I can do or do I have to send it back? Oh and I'm running 1 12" fi bl in a 2 cuft box tuned to 35.5 hz with 0 guage wiring

I've never used the remote on my past amps because they never came w/ one so I want to ask what does the remote control when set to max. Max gain on the amp or max gain set by the amp?

I can't wait to get them in and installed! It's been quite a while since I've done any car audio and I'm pretty excited to get back into it!

so there's a show this weekend. getting tired of everybody talkin stuff about my sundown audio stuff cause they never heard of the name. i need to change my setup so i can win this show. my box is about 3.3 with 3 of the dual 4 sa12s. i running a 3000d @ 2.6 i have two options. either port my box i already have to stay behind the third row. or flip the seats up and build a 6 cube ported box just for the show. if i port my box i already have how high would i need to tune it. i need a mid 140's for this weekend. last show they held guy won it with a 139 or something. and i might add he had 4 15s in a box not tuned for the speakers. also would it be safe to wire it in par…
