Started in on the install.. Wish I had more ground cable, we decided to do multiple runs and I don't have enough grey/silver since we used some for more power wire.. doh. It'll all be hidden anyway. Lots more to do (probably a couple more days worth).. I'll keep the pics coming.

I've never used the remote on my past amps because they never came w/ one so I want to ask what does the remote control when set to max. Max gain on the amp or max gain set by the amp?

Just finished unloading... will ship pre-orders next week as they all must be tested. I am very happy so far with how they turned out -- hope that customers enjoy them as much as I think they will ! If I ever get time I may drop one of these in my Jeep and see if I can still do a 150 with one of these 15s *laughs* Would be fun to try at least.

I'm planning on purchasing the SAZ-3000D for my Nissan Sentra and would like to upgrade my alternator. What size alternator would you recommend?

Im either wanting to pre-order the saz-1500d v.2 in the next day or two for 400$. Or I was looking at the Saz-2000d in the B-stock Refurb section for 400$ and have a little headroom. Power is going to an XCON by the way. Any input is appreciated.

Well my sa-12 stopped working and I took it out of the box and found this black stuff Idk what it is Is this normal to break and can you fix it? I didnt even have it installed for a month.Help somebody

Every time i start up my car, the sundown starts up but then goes straight into protect. I have the SAZ3K. I used an additional head unit to make sure it wasn't the signal. Without the RCAs plugged in and without the speaker wires plugged in it still did this. Here is a picture of the only thing i could find WRONG internally in the amp. Its also really loose when you go to touch it. Thanks for the help, Curt

I have 2 ns v.2 12's D2 and 2 3500s strapped to 1 ohm. How ballzy must 1 be to strap to 0.5 for 0.25 each? Would there be a good db gain?

sup forum. I'm wanting to upgrade my front stage . i have a saz 1000d with an icon 12'' box built to specs. i'm leaning torwards rainbow slc 265.25 since my id CX.62 v2's blew ( friends borrow + drinking = blown ) the amp i have for them is a cheap performance technique. i was wondering if the sax 125.2 is good for frontstage.. simple question but i want to confirm before spending $$ thanks!

im considering 2 SA-12's sealed 1.5 each off a sae-1200d. This sub work well sealed? Im curious about xmax specs on them.They seem VERY well built which is one of the reasons they are a top choice atm

Will 2 15" SA 15s have enough room as of specs in a ported box that is approximately 36" long, 18" deep and 24" tall? Just wondering because I would like to put two 15s in the cab of my 98 s10 extended cab.

hey guys I tried posting in the fab section about my box, but figured I'd post here as well considering this is the board ive been reading for the past year. but anywho, last summer i came across a fellow on here from saskatoon,SK which happens to be where im from, said he would build me a box, but i just didnt have the dough at the time....just hopeing he's still here. Hi all, I've read here and there not to use the bass boost( because of clipping signal?). But, if it is so bad, why do we have it on the Sundown amps like my saz 1000 D ? How and when to use it? Mine is still set to the minimum, and my 15" Icon seems to love it:)!

Its been four years since I last setup my system. I recently swapped headunits to a Pioneer Avic D3 and now will be going passive. I'm planning to run 2 sax-100.2s and 2 saz-3000s strapped at 2 ohms. I have a 200 amp excessive amp alt and i'm attempting to make a bracket so i can also use my stock alt but i'm not sure if i'll succeed in that. Is it recommended to run 2 alts with 2 saz-3000s or would my one 200 amp alt be fine? I'd like to limit the amount of batteries to 1 under the hood and 3 in the back. I'm a little tight on space. Is this alright or would i have to use more? My last system consisted of 2 saz-1500s. Using my 200 amp alt, 1 battery under the hood, and 1 in the back I didn't seem to have any problems at all. Just wondering how much i need to upgrade my electrical to handle 2 saz-300…

Greetings currently own a z v.4 10. It is a 97 Tahoe being ran off of a saz 2500 v.2. It would be more cost effective to re-cone it to a 18". it would cost little over twice as much two add another z v.4 10, but just because it cost less doesn't mean it will sound better. basically I'm after more output. better low end extension. I had it in my cutlass and it sounded great but in the Tahoe I have a lot more cabin space. any suggestions between the two? thanks in advance for the input.

Hi everyone, I know I've read something about it but I don't remember where, and I can't find it ! One of my friend is running a 15" D1 xcon sub with 2 Sundown saz 1000 d strapped at 2 Ohms. He uses the gain remote. Now he's planning a new build with 2 subs and 4 saz 1000. 2 amps per sub. He will have to use 2 remote, and only wants one. What can he do , what to buy to have only one remote to control the gain on the 2 (2)amplifiers ? Thanks for your help

Went to get my brand new SAZ 1500D installed today but when they hooked it up it wouldn't work. The amp turns on and gets hot but won't play. They took it out and put in a jl amp and it played great. They also hooked the amp up to some machine (forgot the name) to see if it would work and nothing is there anything I can do or do I have to send it back? Oh and I'm running 1 12" fi bl in a 2 cuft box tuned to 35.5 hz with 0 guage wiring
