Ok I sold my 18btl an looking to get 4 15Z do i have enough room to run them I have 38x38x26 to work with if so can someone help me with a box design will be ordering the subs if I have enough room by next Friday thanks for time.

ok so when jacob opens up the pre-sale on these i will be ordering 6, they will be ran off of a saz-3500D at .7ohm. now i used a box calc. off of the *** forum, and got my box all figured out, its just the port thats confusing me, can someone help me out with this as to i cant figure out my actually port cut outs, the box will be in a 99 s10 ext cab, subs forward, port up (drivers side) here are the specs of the box. 6 10" Sundown sa's box height - 29 depth - 14 Length - 43 Port height - 12.5 width - 7.5 length - 24.5 net air space 6.24ft3. port area 93.75 in2. @32.33 thanks!!

I miss calculated on my port and I am tuned to 29Hz instead of 32Hz. My box is ~5.3 cubes after displacements, I have 20.5'' of port (13.5'' in the box and 7'' out). I am going to cut the port down at the top. Will I notice an audiable change? I mostly play decafs chopped/screwed songs and I dont think they dip under 30hz, if they do its only breifly. Is 29 too low for a nightshade? Its ran off an AQ2200 @ 1 ohm

Recently my 1200D has been going into protect after about 30 seconds of being on and I have no idea what's causing it. I always let me car run for a few minutes before turning my amps on (they are both on switches). Two days ago I went and bought all new brass screws, bolts, and washers and re-did my grounds for both the Sundown and my Pheonix Gold amp. I sanded the paint off the area and tightened them down. Yesterday I pulled the Sundown out of my car and opened it up to make sure nothing burned up. Visually, everything looks perfect and my fuses are intact. On ebay i saw the saz2000 for $525 thets the price of the saz1500,has anybody bought sundown from ebay?

My current setup is 2 12" Orion xtr pros dvc 4 ohms wired to 1 ohm powered by rd audio 1000.1 v1 amp with all 0 gauge power and grounds. I have a stock 110 amp alt with a big three upgrade in knukonceptz copper clad 1/0 wire and a litte beefer battery then my car requires. I've been looking into sundown for a while and would love to get a sae 1200 v2. My electrical handles the 1000.1 pretty good, lights don't realy dim unless I'm parked with it cranked up, and voltage doesn't usually go under 13. I know it'd be ideal to upgrade to a HO alt but I don't plan on having this car for more than a year or so. So I was thinking could I upgrade to the sundown amp if I added a yell…

I am going to be purchasing a 3500 in the next week 2 at the most. I was just wondering what would be a better match 4 sa12's or 2 nightshade 12's both boxes will be ported. reason I am asking this will be my first time using sundown equipment so I was just seeking a little advise. I have a 275a alt., 2 svr1500 batt., so I think I will be fine powering it .

First burp... HU @ 0 position on sub control. Matched best score ever with the Monster at any time (155.3) -- best I ever did at my shop on my meter was 155.1 dB, though. Now... HU at +3 position ! i know there both sundown but which one would be better on 2 kicker cvx 12"woofers?being that one is a saz versus sae i dont know the difference...

I have to choose between the SAZ-1500d or a Audiopipe AP30001D. I know the build quality is better on the SAZ, but I believe I will get more output from the AP. My electrical is a stock 140 amp alternator in a dodge magnum and a extra battery (NSB90). I need to power a pair of Fi Q15's. Being unbiased, which amp would better suit my setup? I wanted to give the subs 1k watts each... I was used to 150+ because I was running 4 Q15's on an IA40.1, but now I am just going to run two, but want to lose as little output as possible. I Dont Really Understand how to bridge a Dual 2 Ohm Speaker, On My Speaker I Have Positive Crosing Over To Positive And Negative Crossing Over To Negative (1 Ohm Load) Like Shown How Do I Hook This Up To The Amp? Because The 2 Outside Terminals Which are Usually Positive Negative Are Positive Positive

My father is considering this driver. I want to know if you guys think it fits the bill for him.His system consists of the following. ok so i got my self a 3000d and am waiting on my fi q 15" D2 to come. i was wondering if i ever expand to a seconded one if i could run the 2 at .5 at around 2400 watts and not piss off the amp for daily use. other than that any tuning suggestion for the single fi Q besides don't crank the gain knob all the way up. and if u use a dmm what should it read for 1100 - 1200 watts, at the moment it says a bought 70V but that dos not sound right it would have blown my 100A fuse by now it that was true. thank you for your time.

Hello I was wanting to use the 100.4 for my front stage. I was going to run 6.5 in the kicks and maybe a 3 or 4 inch in my front pillars. I was wondering can you bandpass, for example channel's 3&4 with the subsonic filter set at 150 hz then setting the Low pass frequency crossover at 4,500Hz for the 6.5. Then channels 1&2 would be set on High Pass and the High Pass Crossover set at 750Hz for my pillars. I will also be running tweeters I will be running those on channels 1&2 also. How could I Passively crossover these. I was thinking around around 7,000-8,000Hz any info would be helpful. Thanks
