Is this (2 saz-4500) too much power to put on 4 15" Fi BLs?

Second time ever on a meter First time ever competing and I won first in Street C with 145.9. I got there early this morning and was in the lane qualifying within ten minutes of being there. They gave me a CD and I started at 32hz and just went up 3 tracks at a time within 30 seconds until I got to 48hz. I am still not sure where I peak but 48hz was the only track I played on my other 3 runs. Thanks to Sundown Jerry for his advice. Gear: 2 15 Sundown Nightshades 1 SAZ1500 at .5 ohm 1 Powemaster D2400 1 MLA module 145.9 and I think I got more if I can get some meter time to test.

Hi Sundown or whoever can help me. A few questions. What is the main differnces between the new and old amp? How long can a amp be in a shop before it go's bad. The thing is; they dont sell any of these amps as most people here are into SQ. Im just worried I buy the thing and it gives me troubles.

Got my new toy in today....pictures dont do this thing any justice..at all... Insanley massive......Makes me want to order another one.. I got gain and bass boost at 1/4 and its slamming already....I can not wait to turn it up and see what it really does..but at 14/35 on the volume...the lows are crazy..... Gonna break it in for a few weeks at low volumes though.... Powered by 1 of my SAZ 3K's and 3 DEKA's..... Thanks for a bad ass sub Jacob.....was packaged great to...arrived here in top notch shape. A few Sundown guys at the show today... Big Al with 2x SAZ-3000Ds @ 0.7 DCR each un-strapped running on only two Kinetik 2400s + starter battery... powering 2x Kicker Solo-X 18" subs in a daily-tuned listenable, beautifully done, fiberglass box. All in his Cadillac Escalade. Honestly don't remember his class designation... believe it was truck/suv 25 - 48. 150.9 dB today! He has 2 more SAZ-3000Ds and more batteries going in soon. Welcome to Sundown Went live yesterday. The biggest upgrade is behind the scenes... the new software actually allows us to do more modifications so we don't need to bug our web guy (aka: taking forever for us to get around to it). Is it possible to buy just the crossovers? I have 2 sets of rokford fosgate 6.5" component sets (don't judge me they were $50 a piece during back Friday locally). They did not come with crrossovers. I have sundown for everything else in my truck.

I've got two sundown saz 1500's... Love em!!! Just finishing a custom box for 3 RE SX 12ft^3 @ 34hz and I want to put "RE" and "Sundown" logos on the box Is there any way I can get the Sundown logos? what do yall think of the z v2 d2 15 in a spl box tuned to 39 hertz on a dc audio pai 3000.1

Im planning on getting 2 15" NightShades v2 and was wondering if I should go with 2 saz2500s or 2 1500s. i know SD underrates just about everything so what do yall recommend? Also what else should I get as in electrical. how many batts and im guessing i would need a HO alt? Ill most likely do the big3 as well.

I received my 50.4 today and it is beautiful as always. So now my new build will consist of... 1200D for my Subs. 100.4 bridged for my Mid-Bass. 50.4 bridged for my Mid-Range. 100.2 for my Tweets. Front stage is a HAT L-631 running active via Alpine H701. You think I have enough headroom?

So Derrick came up today and constructed a box for me for my four SA-8s... still two 1500Ds on one Stinger SPP-1500D and one Stinger SPV-70 battery on Powermaster Charger (car off). We built the box from scrap 5-layer pine plywood for testing... we plan to use birch ply for another version at a later date. Results here :

Well, hi to everyone at sundown. From what I can find it seems that this amp isn't quite out yet? I currently have 2 memphis 4ks, and was about to buy 2 more, but I'm wondering if there is something better out there before investing memphis. There was mention of a pre-order of 3ks for ~900each, which if I could dump off the 4ks quick enough I would be interested in buying 4 of them if its beneficial. After reading the thread on testing it seems they put out close to 4k at 1ohm, 14.4v? Please correct me if I'm wrong. While bias can be expected on a product forum, I'd really like to get some more info on these amps. Everyone seems to love the 1500s, and I've heard nothing b…

Here are some vids of my nightshade 18". I have a autotek mm4000.1 now(videos are with ap3000). Im wired @ 2ohms, after rise it see's 6 ohms, with 2400 watts. I did 150.7@42hertz, at the headrest. This was done at meca world finals. Comments appreciated, just wanting to see what people think. And here's a tiny hairtrick, not bad for a single sub.

Hello All, Im finally going to install my amp I bought a few months back and have a few questions. Let me start by telling you were Im at. Im going to be installing an Sae-1000D amp powering an RE SE 10" rated @ 600watts @ 2 Ohms. I also have a 4 ch PPI amp bridged 160 watts running my front components. The car currently has 4 ga wiring. Would 4 ga still be enough to run the 1000 and PPI amps. Also what size fuse should I use for the power wire. Thanks in Advance, Mike

Hey Guys....I recently installed a SAZ 1500D and I am now experiencing engine noise (a buzzing type of sound). I can unplug the RCA's from the SAZ and it goes away. I was told that I should ground both of my amps in the same place and that might help...Well, I've done that and it hasn't helped. Prior to installing the SAZ I had a JL Audio 500/1 and it didn't have any noise. I've even ugraded my BIG 3 and also ran some 1/0 gauge since installing the amp thinking that may help....But the noise still remains. The RCA's are new and I cannot imagine why they would make any noise since they didn't with my previous amp....Is there a possibility that the SAZ has something wr…

Has anyone tested the 3000ds in a street or street-max application?

I'm running 6 Sa 8 v2s on 2 1500s in a 6th order in my Tahoe. They sound ok on the low end(28-38hz), but they sound like they have so much more to give. I'm debating switching up enclosures, but I wanted to get the opinions of people who have run them. Is it worth it to give the subs more time to break in before I switch boxes? I'm also considering adding another 1500. I've only had the subs for a couple of weeks. I only have a chance to get on them driving to work and around town.
