Hey you guys are really imformative on these forums. So recently I installed my new system that consisted of a Fi BTl 18, SAZ 3000d, HO alternator(220amp), Kinetik 2400 in back, all 0gauge wires, big three all in a Nissan Pathfinder. And recently I would be listening to music and then the subwoofer would cut out and there would be no output. I inspected the sub and it looked fine. I switched the sub with a JL and it did the same thing. Played then cut out. I checked rcas, ground and also checked to see if the speaker wires r hooked up right. I switched out the 3000d with a Alpine amp and it worked fine. If you guys got any input or advice i should try please let me…

I purchased my amplifier from Db-r, The day i got it i hooked it up it blew and started smoking. I sent it in to Db-R they fixed it; The guys at Db-R said the power input was soldered too long and it burnt up and smoked my power supply. They replaced everything under warranty. Today (12/25/09) I opened my Saz-3000d and was just looking around at Sundown's beautiful job at designing/making amplifiers and found this. as you can see the MOSFET's most are soldered in on the top, but there are a few that are not. Is this something to be worried about?

Went to AudioThunder in Niagra Falls new york with some small changes to the vehicle. Terrible drive up due to conditions outside but well worth it! Eclipse is doing 154's a lot more often now that I strengthened somethings in the rear hatch and removed the spoiler that was leaking some air. 2nd in the preliminary (saturday) 1st place in the finals for bass race (sunday) Should get a 55+ out of it charged. Will try and get a vid of that up soon. Here are some videos I took from the show. Amps are still running excellent at .5 ohms Jake! The box is built for 2 Sundown audio sa-12's tuned to about 35z with 2 2" ports and i was wondering if those would be a big enough ports or if i should take out the middle separator and make it one big 3" port. The end goal is to have the least amount of port noise possible. This is with the 2 different ports This is with the single port And advice would be greatly appreciated.

Our new FedEx rep was a good sport and got a short demo. 12x Obsidian Audio 12s 2x SAZ-4500Ds on 16v @ 1.33 ohms We forgot to have the low-tuned loading wall in -- so hair movement not as good as it could be but our rep enjoyed it !

Had a nice gift waiting for me when I got home today. Three Sundown SAX-125.2 amps! One will be powering a set of components, Image Dynamics CXS64. The other two will be dedicated to my subs, two JL Audio 8W7's. These amps look great! Here are some pics. Nice, huh?

So they arrived a couple of days ago but my lazy roommate hasn't gone and picked them up yet. About a week and a half ago I talked him into order a pair of 10s to replace the current Kenwoods under his backseats in the GMC Sierra. Today I finally got fed up with it and went to the front office to pick up the pair of Sundown SA-10 D4 B-Stock we ordered from Jacob. So the lady goes to the back to get them and calls me in for help because she claims they are "really heavy". I was thinking to myself, no way are these things THAT heavy. So I go to lift them both up and almost shit my pants. I did NOT expect the weight they have. Jacob sure fed these subs their Wheaties! On top…
