Sundown Audio

I have two sundown audio sa-10s that i'm not to happy with. They're not getting very loud at all off a saz2500d and i think my box is to blame. I designed and built the enclosure myself, its suppose to be 2.5cubes after displacements tuned to 32hz but not sure how well that worked out. Im at the point where i'm considering selling the 10's and upgrading to 12's or a single 15 cause i'm frustrated with how they sound. I can try a new box but would hate to put the time and money into it if thats not the problem. Current box dimensions are 30x20x14 exterior and the port is 3x12.5x31. Hey i was just trying to find the specs for the Z v.3 12" sub. i was looking around the store and web and wasn't able to really find any specs, like sensitivity Etc.... i was just was wondering what it was. well guys i had all these plans for my mazda.. i finally figured the car out as far as getting it loud. and today i had a wreck. it had soo much force it broke the screws out of the metal holding the box down and shoved it through the trunk opening.

What power supply 12v do i need to power up Sundown 1000.1 monoblock amp

Don't mind the title but it made you look.. Well I must say my sundown is GREAT, my pioneer SPL 12" D2's sound great but was lacking in bass race today. So am pulling them back out ( I just got them in yesterday ) and want to run 2 15" so I can get the numbers I am looking for 145+ run in 139.9 class, but my problem is do you think 2 FI BL's D2 on a sundown 3000 at .5 ohms before rise would be ok or is that going to be to much for the BL's for a 30 sec bass race run? If the 3000D is to much for the FI's I have would one sundown nightshade D2 with upgrades be better. I am sure the 2 15" BL's would be louder right due to cone area. So I'm running Sundown 100.4 with fronts and backs with no problem for last month or two. But I have a problem with 125.2, I just hokked everything up and this amp that feeds subs is turning on and off constantly, as soon as there is a bass in the song it hits very quiet, barely noticable and amp turns itself off, but as the bass dissapears in the song amp turns itself back on, and it's like that throughout the whole song, it will literally turn on and off maybe 20 times in 1 minute. I want to put a 3000 per pair..... But i'm not sure how they will handle the 1500 rms each. Any better ideas?

well i hooked up the 1500d in place of my sub channel on my belle and i with i had a meter.not much difference in sound. i have it @.7ohm (dual 1.5 ohm) and i just can't hear any difference in the 2 amp's.but as soon as i get my meter I'm going to test the differnce. yes i have 2 battery's to run off of one optima and 1 stinger in the hatch. anyways later

so ive just finished building my 2nd box for these, and still not satisfied. ive done subs forward, port up in middle, but the box made me move my seat to close to the steering wheel it was 6 cubes 80sq inches of port, and i think there wasn't enough port area. sounded good though. my new box is subs up, port up (drivers side) 6 cubes, 94 sq inches of port. both box's tuned to 32 hz, so im looking to for help on something will i will be happy with, im not looking for numbers, just something that gets low and hella loud at it. my truck is a 99 s10 ext cab. do i need a bigger box for such low tuning? higher tuning? i play a lot of low 30-35 hz songs when i have it full ti…

I know the amp has not been released yet.. But I have preordered the amp through a rep and is expected to come in the beginning of june. Any recomendations of electrical upgrades on my vehicle. batteries, wires, alternator, etc...I have a 2000 Honda passport lx. I will also be running a sax-100.4 also. I'm trying get everything as good as it could get so I can run the amps efficiently and get its full potential without blowing them.

1) is 1 cu ft good after all displacements? I'll be over powering it alittle 2) how much port area? I'm tuning between 30-33 hz?
