the good................ well.. this past weekend was one of florida largest mini truck/car shows.. Slamfest.. they had a stereo comp... so i went to the show on sat to qualify in the two classes i entered.. i entered 30 sec average..kinda like bass race.. and outlaw spl.. the meter was a term lab but it was like 6 db high in its readings.. so i do a 162 in the average 30 sec..( would be a real 156 ) and a 163.2 in the outlaw thing.... had a good day .. demoed my van talked about my sundown amps ect.. the bad.... sunday on the way to the show i am driving like 55mph in a constuction zone with concrete barriers on eather side.. my front upper ball joint broke.. i almost …

Lets hear the new goals and new setup ideas for this season or even predictions for the up and comming season? I would bet there will be a new addition to the 150db trunck cars comming to the lanes soon? I am also hoping to maybe see 160db in a SSNW setup I know there are a few cars that are on the hunt for this score. Also there are many new setups that plan on bassracing the 149.9 class and a few new ones for the 159.9 class if they can get it done before SBN? so lets hear about the new builds comming out this season or tell us about what scores you hope to do or even what score …

I know that they offer the SD1 and SD1v.2 and that they are coming out with the nightshade but the SD1v.2 is too small for me, does not take enough power and the nightshade takes plenty of power but it appears to be geared towards full blown SPL, correct me if I'm wrong. I was wondering if there are going to be any subs to fill the gap between these woofers, a good daily driving sub that can take a good 2-2.5kw RMS. I was also wondering about the amps. I know that the 1500 will do around 2kw and the 3000 will do around 3.5-4kw. However I was wondering if there are going to be any amps that do in between, maybe a SAE-2000 or 2500. Let me know any info thank you.

I have 2 SA-12's in this box and am curious if I could use it for the Z-12's? It's 3.5 cubes tuned to 30Hz.

Hey ! I have 15" AA Havoc D2 in 3CF sealed. The sub is 1250 RMS. I wonder if the 1500D would be worth the extra money (450$ vs 600$, domned Israeli taxes) or maybe the difference won't be that big. someone told me that the difference would be 1.5 dB because the latter is half more power than the 1000D. What do you offer me to do ?

My buddy was driving and had his system on... And it turned off. So he came to my house. All the fuses were fried. And when i opened it up, theres a black wire that is now disconnected... How? Idk. What would cause this? Can i just sauder a new wire on and be good to go? the amp is a SAE-1200 and its running 2 Fi Q 12" D1's Thanks. Pics...

Friends. I have ordered a FI Q12 (Dual 2 OHMS) single sub that will go into a ported sub-woofer enclosure just as soon as I can get in contact with pound that sound. First, I am trying to find out what's the difference between the following two amps, if there is any. a. Sundown Audio SAZ-1000D = RMS 600 x 1 watts @ 2 ohms b. Sundown Audio SAE-1200D = RMS 600 x 1 watts @ 2 ohms Secondly, will either of these two be sufficient enough to power that particular sub since both are 2ohms x 1 600 RMS--------------------(underrated) ? a.

Just swapped out my US Amps for some Sundown Audio amps. Sad to see the ol' faithful US Amps go, this was VERY hard to do. I must be a responsible sundown dealer and use the stuff that I sell. I did consider slapping a sundown sticker on the US Amp heatsinks. Old install I still have an Fi Q12 and the Sundown SAZ-1500D is my first ever class D amp. I metered at 140.5 db. Pretty damned good if you ask me for the bass eating BMW trunk. A 2.3db gain since I was metered using the sub brand new with a super stiff suspension. Measured by a termlab in the pass side kick panel. Peak freq was 47hz. The reading might be a little higher since I was inside. Electrical: Stock…

Just got done unloading the trucks... the 15s and 18s are here in stock for the first time. We have additional 12D2 models for any over-flow overs as well. Any 10s either coil or 12D1 we'll still have to build until the next shipment. Also some X-18 in D2 and D4 were on the truck as well as re-stocking quantities of SA-10/12/15 and SD-2 10/12 woofers.

Hello, How many watts will my Sundown SAZ 1500D give me @ 1.34 ohms? I have a Duralast Gold battery up front, Batbap 800 in the back. 0 guage wiring in the entire car. I have 3 T3 TS series 10 in a sealed box single 4 ohm wired for 1.34 ohms. Thanks

You should do a couple of Highres Sundown Backgrounds for PCs.... A few with just the Sundown Audio logo, then maybe a few with one of each Sundown Amps or one with each amp and a one of each pair of drivers... I have a laptop and three PCs at work that I like to cycle the backgrounds on...

I am picking up 3 SA8 motors and would like get some baskets and recones for them. I'm wondering what my options are, since I've seen v1 and v1.5. I'll be running these off an saz-1500d in a town car with a 240 amp alt, deka starting battery, deka 9a31 in the trunk, big 3, 1/0 wiring throughout etc... I want to wire these to .66 and want to know how big of a box I should go with and how much port area I need. This will be a daily driver, and will be turned down most of the time. Ok i m trying to get the best box i can for my tens i have been going back and forth on size and tuning. I just read the new thread saying about 1 cube would be good if you plan on pushing the subs i will be putting about 825 watts throu these for 10s. I thinking 35htz tuning. Should i aim for the 4 cubes or 1 cube a piece? low ? higher ? wats the displacement on these subs ? thanks
