Just got done unloading the trucks... the 15s and 18s are here in stock for the first time. We have additional 12D2 models for any over-flow overs as well. Any 10s either coil or 12D1 we'll still have to build until the next shipment. Also some X-18 in D2 and D4 were on the truck as well as re-stocking quantities of SA-10/12/15 and SD-2 10/12 woofers.

I am picking up 3 SA8 motors and would like get some baskets and recones for them. I'm wondering what my options are, since I've seen v1 and v1.5. I'll be running these off an saz-1500d in a town car with a 240 amp alt, deka starting battery, deka 9a31 in the trunk, big 3, 1/0 wiring throughout etc... I want to wire these to .66 and want to know how big of a box I should go with and how much port area I need. This will be a daily driver, and will be turned down most of the time. I was thinking 2 cu ft net tuned to 34 with 30-35 sq in of port area. I looked in another thread and the recones were listed as $32 and baskets were $10, let me know if those prices are still goo…

I know that they offer the SD1 and SD1v.2 and that they are coming out with the nightshade but the SD1v.2 is too small for me, does not take enough power and the nightshade takes plenty of power but it appears to be geared towards full blown SPL, correct me if I'm wrong. I was wondering if there are going to be any subs to fill the gap between these woofers, a good daily driving sub that can take a good 2-2.5kw RMS. I was also wondering about the amps. I know that the 1500 will do around 2kw and the 3000 will do around 3.5-4kw. However I was wondering if there are going to be any amps that do in between, maybe a SAE-2000 or 2500. Let me know any info thank you.

My box turned out to be a tad bigger then i wanted it too. But it's right around 6.92 cubes after sub displacement. It will be mainly for street beat/bass race/daily. Amp is an IA 40.1 @ .7ohm. My question is how many 6" aero's should i use? I have 3 total but was wondering if 3 6's would be too much..

We did an updated one today with an SA-15 never dropping power under 700 watts and even increasing to close to 1000 watts near the end : "My clamp meters weren't set quite right up until about 1:45 and we come online reading power at 838 watts (remember we have been seeing power for a while already this is just where I get a good reading)... at 2:45 dropped to 754, at 3:45 dropped to 725, at 4:45 dropped to 722, and at 5:45 dropped to 709 -- so here we are at about 40% over rated power on a sine wave with only 15% power drop over 4 solid minutes. Hi Guys, So I want a SaZ 3000D and nothing else. problem is i know my electrical might or might not make it. All i Need (for the time being) is 2000RMS into 1 ohm problem is; im half way around the world and no one is doing a alt for my car. at the moment im pushing 1200 RMS (mono only) into 2ohms and dont have any problems with my all stock electrical the plan is to get the big 3 done and two identical deepcycle battery's im planning to push the 2x BL 12's if any one would want to know my current amp will do 1750 RMS into 1 ohm but somehow i think a big amp working not so hard will give better results then a smaller one driven to its max ?? + its a sundown so i got to h…

will my saz-1000d xcon be ok powering my xcon? and when i wire to 1oh do i just put the + and - into the B speaker side?

You should do a couple of Highres Sundown Backgrounds for PCs.... A few with just the Sundown Audio logo, then maybe a few with one of each Sundown Amps or one with each amp and a one of each pair of drivers... I have a laptop and three PCs at work that I like to cycle the backgrounds on...

I did a quick test today on one SAZ1500D.. i used a clamp on meter to measure current in the speaker wires and a digital multimeter to measure voltage.. i'm not sure if i measured this correctly, but i recorded the peak values seen and not the average.. I played a 48Hz test tone during testing and used a pair of dual 4ohm Audiopipe TXX series subs.. Re per coil - 3.6ohms 1st try.. (volume up high, but not maximum..) Hey ! I have 15" AA Havoc D2 in 3CF sealed. The sub is 1250 RMS. I wonder if the 1500D would be worth the extra money (450$ vs 600$, domned Israeli taxes) or maybe the difference won't be that big. someone told me that the difference would be 1.5 dB because the latter is half more power than the 1000D. What do you offer me to do ?

Ordered 4 Sundown 3000D amps that were delivered Thursday. I will run them on a 16 volt system. Also what size alt and number of batteries to use. Should you use 8 volt batteries or 16 volt batteries. What are the advantage of each.

I have a Dual 3-ohm Subwoofer, which i plan on wiring in parallel for a 1.5 ohm load (actually measures 1.55 on digital multimeter). Could I use Two SAE-1000D Strapped with this load? One Saz-1500d would not be enough and 3000w would be to much.

the good................ well.. this past weekend was one of florida largest mini truck/car shows.. Slamfest.. they had a stereo comp... so i went to the show on sat to qualify in the two classes i entered.. i entered 30 sec average..kinda like bass race.. and outlaw spl.. the meter was a term lab but it was like 6 db high in its readings.. so i do a 162 in the average 30 sec..( would be a real 156 ) and a 163.2 in the outlaw thing.... had a good day .. demoed my van talked about my sundown amps ect.. the bad.... sunday on the way to the show i am driving like 55mph in a constuction zone with concrete barriers on eather side.. my front upper ball joint broke.. i almost …

I know this has probably been answered before, but the search bar is pretty much useless on this forum. So if I can keep my electrical system from dropping below 13.0-13.5 volts, how will the saz take the .5 ohm load?

I was told with a nightshade you have the option to add extra spiders. Is that true? If so what does extra spiders do?

what is the mounting depth for them and what is the sensitivity on them? ... how would they do in a sealed box? ... what size sealed box do they typically need?

I finally got to put power to my pair of sa10 subs. I have 2 wired to 1 ohm in 2.5 cu ft net tuned to 32 hz with 40 sq in of port. They are running off my saz-1500d. And are taking it no problem. I only have about an hour of play time on them. So we'll how much they loosen up. So far I'm impressed. I'm coming from an re sx 15 in 4.2 cu ft net tuned to 32 hz running @2 ohms off the same saz-1500d. They are a little louder than the sx15, but night and day cleaner. They hit so much tighter than the sx. Rock and metal are enjoyable again. My current electrical is seriously lacking and I've got some bad voltage drop. So I know there is more in them. Will a Sundown 200.4 work with 2 sets of re audio 6.5 xxx comp set and 1 set of 6.5 merlon coaxial speakers? i know the sundown amp is powerful so i just want to know so i dont blow any speakers
