Hi Im very interested in getting my TC-3hp motor rebuilt. I was wondering if you could come up with a recone kit for it. I have the TC-3000 top assmbly. Would you be able to re-use the basket? Would I need to send the motor in or would you be able to send out a re-cone kit? What would the costs be? basically the former on the TC soft parts seperated from the titanium cone. I have had nothing but problems with the TC soft parts. I definitely want a fiber, paper, or plastic cone. The box I am using is 2.94 cubic feet tuned to 34 hz with 56 square inches of port and I am shooting for around 1500 watts rms power handling. Do I have any options with the recone kit?

currently i have 2 12 nightshades in right now, and when the big sale on the 12's were going on a few months ago, i paid for two and put 200 down for 2 more when i was looking at getting a bigger car... my question is would i be louder with maybe buying another 1500d and pay the remaining 85 to take one sub or put the money towards upgrading them to 15 baskets . so.... 3 12 ns on 3 1500's or 2 15 ns on 2 1500d's(also i really like the sound of 15's) my last set up was a btl 15 on 2 1500ds in a chambered t-line and that set up equally if not more louder than this set. current 12's are in a 4.4 cube @ 35 hz. when the decision is made, pete will be building my box, always wa…

What is the easiest way to find out what stock is available. DBr's web site isn't always up to date. I live on the west coast so by the time I get home a simple phone call won't work. I am interested in either a b stock or a refurbished from dbr. It's my understanding that all referbished items are routed through Jacob and then to dbr. So is it possible to earmark an amp to be sent to dbr?

So what's involved in refurbing an amp? I wouldn't mind snatching up that 1500D, but I don't want to lay down four bills, only to be stuck with a large paperweight just out of the 90 day warranty. Jacob, hows the reliability rate with the refurbs?

I have teamed up with Mike once again; this time to clear out QC failed SA-8s at a discount. We have worked with Mike before on E8s that failed QC so I am sharing this offer with my forums. They are all new drivers that didn't pass on our bench test; which is performed on all speakers and amps that ship from Sundown. Mike is re-building them with our latest updated soft parts. Note : These do not carry warranty from Sundown Audio. We are not re-building this in house; the work is done by Mike so they must be ordered from him and not us. --- I will be selling Sundown’s inventory of SA-8s that have failed quality control testing. Each of these woofers were tested by Jaco…

Below text compose by Mike Bruno for the sale of these drivers. We are not re-building them; Mike is. All after sales support will be handled by Mike by his terms on these refurbished drivers. PM: woofercooker – or preferably – e-mail: [email protected] for inquiries. ---------- I will be selling Sundown’s inventory of SA-8s that have either failed quality control testing or were returned by customers. Each of these woofers were tested by Jacob and found to have a defect in the coil alignment or other cosmetic / performance defects. I will be refurbishing these woofers with the latest OEM SA-8 parts and reselling them to the public. Many of these have never bee…

Nick Lemon's of Stereo Integrity / Obsidian Audio will be doing the SA-8s for a bit as Mike (woofercooker) has been traveling for work and so forth so is not able to do them at this time. Re-coned SA8's - Car Audio Classifieds ---------- Nick has been re-coning both the 12-spoke and new style frame drivers that didn't meet QC standards and/or warranty replacements. At the moment the shallow cones for 12-spokes are out of stock -- so only the new style frame units are available. $90 plus shipping EACH UNIT If you are interested in these you MUST EMAIL NICK YOUR ZIP CODE!!! His e-mail address is [email protected] DO NOT PM NICK OR ME -- DO NOT E-MAIL SUNDOWN Quotin…

From what i've read, bass boost only sends an ugly, distorted signal to the sub. So should bass boost be set to zero, and only use the wired gain remote? Also, when using the gain remote, does it override the settings you have on the actual amp (the Gain knob on the amp)? Also, bass should be set to zero on the head unit, correct? Edit: Talking about the Saz-1500d here

Goofy question I know, but my 100.4 just came in and I was admiring it... Tehn as I was looking at the lil knob that come with it, I had the thought that I don't normally adjust my gains or boosts after they are set... Also, I don't really have a place or want to mount 2 knobs up front on the TrailBlazer when I get my system in and if I ever do get the system in teh Blazer, I sure don't want 6+ more little knobs up front there...

Anyone have an extra remote knob laying around that they could spare? I am in the final stages of putting together my system for my Mini and got a great deal on a 100d but it was missing the knob. Any help would be appreciated. David

This is the first time I've used a remote gain, so sorry if I'm just being stupid. Anyway, I just got it installed and have my gain on the amp set about half way. Now every time I start to turn the remote gain, I get a pop from my subs. Why is this happening? Is it my ground? If so, I'm not sure how I could make it any better. The ground is secured to the chasis and I sandpaper'd the area where the ground makes contact. I'm also using brass screws/bolts to secure it. I'm just a little confused here.
