Hey guys was wondering if anybody could tell whats the difference between these (Refurbished, Used, B-stock)?. Iam not trying to bash anyone esp jacob iam jus very interested in the sundown line-up. Looking to buy some amps real soon and doing my research. thanks

Going to be installing a HD315 that's dual 1.5ohm VC's. Getting it for a good price, otherwise if buying new I'd just have gotten a dual 2 ohm. I have a 200a alt, SVR batt up front, Deka Intimidator in back, BIG 3 in 1/0, amp wiring is 1/0, gain set with DMM. Is there anything else I need or need to know as I've never run an amp below 1ohm. It's a daily driver and 99% of the time I listen at moderate levels, meaning you can talk in the car with the stereo playing, but once in a while I plan on leaning on it pretty hard when playing music, NO burps, just cranking some tunes to unwind after work. What's considered safe: 5 minutes, 20 minutes, doesn't matter??? I just do…

Hooked up the 1500D today after it has been sitting for about 2 months and now it keeps blowing all the car's fuses. Putting it in a late 90's Tahoe which originally had a 1,000watt amp hooked up that ran without any problems. Now after hooking the 1500D we've already been through 2 fuses so far and are unsure on how to fix it. All help is appreciated and thanks in advance.

i was just wondering what the typical output on a 100.4 will do at 2 ohm. i have 2 sets of re xxx comps and i wanted to know if this amp will supply enough power to them

The Sundown Audio SAX-100.4 is a great amp to run both your front stage and sub stage. The amp has plenty of power for just about any component set and when bridged it is capable of beating the hell out of a pair of subs. In this setup the 100.4 is running a pair of Boston pro components and G110 subs like it is its job. I normally do not wire bass knobs but since we retained the factory head unit it wasn't such a bad idea.

Hey ! I have 15" AA Havoc D2 in 3CF sealed. The sub is 1250 RMS. I wonder if the 1500D would be worth the extra money (450$ vs 600$, domned Israeli taxes) or maybe the difference won't be that big. someone told me that the difference would be 1.5 dB because the latter is half more power than the 1000D. What do you offer me to do ?

i have 2 saz1500d's.they are gonna be pushing (8)sdc2.5 10's.i figured they would be getting around 400ish rms per sub...i need more.. to my question..would it be possible to run 3 saz1500's to these 8 subs?if so how?i have no problem running them below 1ohm.

i have two 3000d every time i try and turn up vol one of the two go into protect its not always the same one . they are running 1ohm each i am also running 3 lifeline batteries 1 d3100 and 1 stinger 1700 225amp alt voltage drops to around 12.6 any help would be great i do compete would be nice to be able to keep it playin for good numbers

Just picked up a used sae1200d from kevin s. I am in love with this amp. Never never never has my sub sounded this good. It's incredible. Excellent build quality. I'll post a full review once I get a couple of days of playing in. But for now, great product Jacob. A little dated or not, I dont think I'll be straying from sundown anytime soon.

I did a quick test today on one SAZ1500D.. i used a clamp on meter to measure current in the speaker wires and a digital multimeter to measure voltage.. i'm not sure if i measured this correctly, but i recorded the peak values seen and not the average.. I played a 48Hz test tone during testing and used a pair of dual 4ohm Audiopipe TXX series subs.. Re per coil - 3.6ohms 1st try.. (volume up high, but not maximum..) Voltage - 57.5V Current - 23.7A Power - 1363W Impedance rise 0.9DCR - 2.43ohms Voltage at the amp dropped from 14.4V - 12.1V I tried it again at a lower volume and got this.. the good................ well.. this past weekend was one of florida largest mini truck/car shows.. Slamfest.. they had a stereo comp... so i went to the show on sat to qualify in the two classes i entered.. i entered 30 sec average..kinda like bass race.. and outlaw spl.. the meter was a term lab but it was like 6 db high in its readings.. so i do a 162 in the average 30 sec..( would be a real 156 ) and a 163.2 in the outlaw thing.... had a good day .. demoed my van talked about my sundown amps ect.. the bad.... sunday on the way to the show i am driving like 55mph in a constuction zone with concrete barriers on eather side.. my front upper ball joint broke.. i almost …

Opinions Please How do you think the Sundown Audio SAZ-1500D would compare to the US Amps MD-2D?

My father is considering this driver. I want to know if you guys think it fits the bill for him.His system consists of the following. HU- Kenwood....Soon to be replaced by an Alpine 9887 Amps- Front stage- US acoustics Usa 2100 running a pair of Alpine SPX-17REF in well sealed and dampened doors. got a stock alt still, it's a 92' camry wagon (dont know what the amps are with that) and (2) 3500d's and (2) 3100's....should I get a volt meter just to be on the safe side....Im not sure how long I should play the system with just a stock alt?

Maybe I should run multiple smaller amps instead of 1 large amp. So instead of a 3000, maybe 2 1500's. I am liking the idea of it, more wiring options. What do yall think?

I have a guy trying to sell me a nightshade 12 that the rim where the surround meets is cracked. I am just wondering could that be fixed and if so, howe much would it be. He said that it was supposedly damaged in shipping.
