  5. This will be the official "Front Stage Inc" demo car...just waiting for my battery to come in. That HC2400 is too ginormous. I'm not sure if you can see this but the cover is kind of sitting on top of the amps. I'm waiting for some 1/8" lexan to put over the amps so I can use my trunk without messing up the amps.

  10. So while my car was in the shop for near a month I made a new enclosure. I also made a big math error on the width. Meh we are all human, so instead of just junking it, I decided to recycle it and make a newer box with a 6" aero port. Here is what the box started out as. And here are some of the steps in recycling it to a new enclosure. And here it is prior to being loaded in the car. And here it is in the hatch. The low bass response is much greater with this box. Here is a quick video I did in the driveway, I may do more just gotta find a spot where I don't piss off all the neighbors.

Quick question. I know the recommended is 1 cube, but what is the smallest size box you can use for an SA-12 with 1-1.2k watts rms? Thanks!

I am new to the forum, and I am very interested in the sundown amps. I have 3 RE SX D2 10 inch subs that I need power for. Which Sundown would work the best to power these subs? They take 1K rms each. Don't know if I should go with 1 1500d or 2 or....? These are not going to be used for competition, just daily driving. Thanks.

  19. First of all, please forgive my posting in this section, but I want to hear from Sundown guys why the product is better then the other two I am thinking of, instead of "it just is". A little on my background, I was pretty into car audio back around 1996-2001, but have been out of it since then. A LOT of things have changed since. I ran a Xtant X1001 and X604 in my last car for reference. In any case, I am looking to put together a pretty simple system now for personal use, no shows or competitions. The amps I am really considering are: Sundown SAZ1500D (used by Sundown guys, but with warranty) Hifonics Brutus BXI2608D Lanzar OptiDrive 2000D I will be running in a '0…

Friends. I have ordered a FI Q12 (Dual 2 OHMS) single sub that will go into a ported sub-woofer enclosure just as soon as I can get in contact with pound that sound. First, I am trying to find out what's the difference between the following two amps, if there is any. a. Sundown Audio SAZ-1000D = RMS 600 x 1 watts @ 2 ohms b. Sundown Audio SAE-1200D = RMS 600 x 1 watts @ 2 ohms Secondly, will either of these two be sufficient enough to power that particular sub since both are 2ohms x 1 600 RMS--------------------(underrated) ? a.

  23. 100.2 100 x 2 watts @ 4 ohms 200 x 2 watts @ 2 ohms 400 x 1 watts @ 4 ohms bridged 100.4 100 x 4 watts @ 4 ohms 160 x 4 watts @ 2 ohms 320 x 2 watts @ 4 ohms bridged how much power do both of these amps usually put out, at each of those loads (4 ohms, 2 ohms, and 4 ohms bridged) i got a new job, and i think i want to run 2 sundown 3k's in the MINI, rather than the crunch GP3000D's.....reason i was going for the crunchs is becuase they're cheap. but now that ill be able to afford the sundowns, and hopefully get a deal if i buy it all at once , i can run these.
