Walled truck... wall will hold four 18s but only has two right now. Only using three 12v batteries at the moment so power is limited Video is processing as I post this... so click in a few minutes.

alrgiht guys need some help i had 4 hc2400 battery going in the car. well a customer came in a bought all 4 for $350 a piece will two yellow tops support both the 2 sundown 3000ds until i can get 4 hc2400s again. i get them now but there out of stock.

1 ohm dcr for a daily driver in a WRX Sedan?

I have just installed my saz1000D : wow !!! I had a JL A1800D (650 watts at 4 ohms), and now the Sundown at 1 ohm. I was not expecting such a big change in output!!! It's'another world !! Couldn't be happier Now my Icon 15 is playing loud, low, and always sooo clean. But I wonder what to do with the remote provided : is it for the gain? Is it for bass boost? How to use it? Please, let me know.

Subs are wired together at 2 ohms. I have 2 sundowns running, 1 amp for each. The subs are both seeing 2 ohms and putting out 1600 to each sub. Which output terminal do I put the speaker wire in. Left or right. It says for 1 sub its right, 2 its left, but the amps are not strapped. Help?!?!

I have dual 1ohm subs...was looking to do 2-3000Ds strapped @ 1ohm but was told that I would benefit more from 4-1500s. Im still undecided if I want to go with a Atomic 7K or get 4 refurbished 1500Ds. What kinda power do u think Id get out of 4 with a 250amp alt, 2 runs of 2/0 welding cable, 1 Deka 9A78DT up front and 3-9A31s in the rear? Do u think Id get more out of the Atomic or 4 1500s, both are around the same price....(I know this is a Sundown thread but please be honest)

While driving my amp turned off and inspecting it I found that all four fuses on the amp were blown. What all could have possibly caused this?

ok here is the question . Assuming everything is the same. Same car, enclosure built to the specs of the sub ect, ect....... which would sound better and why. A sub with a rms rating of 2000 watts with only 1000 wrms going to it or, a sub with a rms rating of 1000 watts with 1000 wrms going to it????????? hope to see if I'm right.

i have a 99 explorer 2 dr sport, right now i have a nightshade 18"D2 sub in 6^ft box after port sub displacement i have about 120" of port the box is tuned around 35hz. I have a SAZ3500D i am going to redo my system and talked with a buddy, he tells me ditch the 18 and get 4 15"D2 nightshades and 4 1500Ds, and take back seat out and build a big ass enclosure for the 4 15s. I dont have a problem doing that but i wanna make sure its what im looking for ,i want to be able to cruise around town and bump and let people hear me before they see me, and feel me when they see me. ive got a alpine head unit[new],and its powern off if i turn it up past 16 on vol.im running a 1500d and im hittn hard but ive never had this problem before.it skips sometimes but mainly cuts off!!!does anyone know what my problem is or do i just need a new or older radio?thanks guys and ya'll have all been a big help!!!i know its not the amp cause it doesnt cut off till the radio powers off.the only thing thats funny is it turn completely off and then powers right back on!!!

Two amps strapped (saz1500d), does the slave need a remote turn on wire as well? Or does it power on from br in? Thanks

Has anyone actualyl done power testing on the 100.4? I really want 125 watts x 4 rms but I really want a sundown amp so just curious what the 100.4 really puts out? Thanks

Didn't sustain any damage to the shop or anything inside the shop. That's the good news, the bad news is that the shop doesn't have power and may be a while before it does. The server is back up (it is not located at the shop) and we do have some battery backup power and a generator at the shop, problem is finding fuel for the generator, things are VERY hectic at any Store that has working gas pumps so we may or may not be able to get things rolling and powered up with the generator. It may be a while (several days or more) before Centerpointe Energy restores the power in the shops area, as we are 45 miles from Houston, and they are mainly focused on getting the powe…

Jacob, any chance of us seeing Sundown home audio amps in the future? I know you make some great bang for the buck car audio amps and I'd love to see that carried over to the home audio side of things.

Currently running a Exodus Shiva X2 SVC 4ohm in a 1.5cuft sealed box. Its an awesome subwoofer BUT, I was wanting to add another one but since they are no longer available thats not possible. So i'm looking to upgrade for more output and perhaps deeper extension. This brings me to the SD X series. Anyone have any opinions on whether the X 15 would be a worthwhile upgrade? My amp right now is a Soundstream PCX 1500D, specs claim 800watts 4ohm, 1100watts 2ohm and 1500watts 1ohm. I would get the X 15 D2 so I can wire it to 1ohm and would like to go sealed. No crazy about ported in the car. Fronts are Hertz HSK 165 XL so midbass and output are no problem. I kno…

I got a pair of these and have a question about a box. I really want a ported box, but don't have the room. They are going in a 350Z and i still need trunk space. what do you think about a sealed box? What size would be ideal?
