Monday I ordered 2 of the SAZ 1500d amps called Massive and told em i hope they did'ent plan on selling a lot of amps in Dallas or Ft Worth Tx after Fu@king me around like that a Happy Customer tells 12 people an Un-Happy customer tells EVERYONE anyway after Much discussion with Djman, and James they agree with Jacob that the 2x 1500d's would be better in the long run over the 3000d for wireing options, as sometimes i use 2x 15" and the next time i will have 4x 15" subs !!! I am so freekin Stoked

i met up with nightshade the other day just to talk and hear the shades. And let me tell you its brutal!! i have been to a couple of shows and havent heard anything like this. vision blurry, hard to breathe, felt like somebody was just punchin me n the head and kickin me n the chest and that was only halfway on the bass knob. at full blast, i felt myself drifting in and out of consiousness LOL . zach is one of the coolest dudes youll ever meet, and he knows his chit. Just wanted to show him so love. Shout out to team sundown!! the videos doesnt do zach's setup any justice. his car flexes like crazy!! oh, and excuse the terrible cameraman **cough**

I was wanting to know on the amps, if you have to use both speaker channels or can you just use one channel. I'm running my 2 dual 4 ohm subs, wired to 1 ohm.

As you may know these trunks are huge but shaped stupid wierd.... Just counting the center portion of the trunk, internally i have 8.11 cubes possibly more. I think if i were to remove or alter the carpet padding in the trunk i could gain a little more space. No plans on competing, just having some fun with a rediculous street beater. Plan to run 5- 7k, 3 d3100s, d2400 up front. if i could possibly get a dual alt setup, which if i can getting amps at that is not an issue. All i listen to is rap. any other factors i may be missing, feel free to chime in. I've had no beat since 09.

I have had single audiopulse axis dual 2 ohm sub wired to my sundown 3000 at 1 ohm. I was going to get a second sundown for my second axis. but recently testing the power and impedence rise charts with my wt3 woofer tester, i found that my impedence rise is going up to 3 with the single axis. so ive only gotten about 2000watts with lots of clipping. After i noticed that i put both axis's in a sealed box with them wired down to .5 ohms. i clamped it today and took an impedence curve and its raising to about 1.1 ohms now. i got about 2300 watts before my voltage dropped too low where i didnt want go continue, and no one was here to rev the engine. I just placed an order at DbR for a refurbished SAE-1200D. They are stated as not including the remote. Does anyone know where I can get one for it? Are they a standard phone jack type remote that I could snag one from Ebay or somewhere else ?

i took a 20 hour trip friday/sat and about 3 hours in the amp started cutting out on channel 3 ONLY but i noticed the other channels sounded a bit distorted as well... i get to ohio(from louisiana) and trouble shoot it, checked everything, opened the board up NOTHING visual.. put it vack in and played it for about 30 min and it still occures.. so i go to lower the gains a bit just enought to keep it from getting hot and cutting out/sounding bad.. i touch the gain(pot) and it completely shorts channel 3 out. i mean completely cuts off when i touch the pot to the chassie of hte amp... figuring its got a short somewhere between hte gain and the output i ground the amp frame …

So just got back from college and still having problems with my channel 2 on the amp. The tweeter goes on and off when i drive. It comes back after i shut the headunit off for any given amount of time - could be quick could be long. I checked the connection of the speaker and saw that it was not solid so i replaced the speaker wire and fixed the connection; nevertheless the tweeter still does not play. Any ideas? I have tried the same speaker on channel 1 and it works fine.

And well, i will let the following photo say it all...... The car has 2 x Sundown 4500d's Strapped at 0.35 - 0.175 per amp Measured output across the pair 105.3 volts 121.2 amps = 12,762 watts output - or in laymans terms "a ****load" Battery was dropping to 10.5 volts as well! I do not condont this sort of abuse - one of the amps was going into protect which is something i need to investigate further, however whichever way you look at it - 6.3K from a 4.5k amp with no engine charging the battery (StreetMax) is pretty awesome going. Ok i am currently up grading my system and i have 2 alpine type r 12s and two alpine mrp-m 500... its pretty loud for what it is. i am buying the sae-1200dv2... and i was wondering that how would i wire my subs and how much power would they be running at... im kinda new i know enough to buy install and know what to look for... i just dont understand how the power is after that.... i was told its half the power gos to each driver.... im confused help... they are both dual 4 ohm voice coils... i plan on buying a 15 inch SSA Icon... it all will be in my 2002 grand prix GTP... if you could help that would be awsome...

ok here is the question . Assuming everything is the same. Same car, enclosure built to the specs of the sub ect, ect....... which would sound better and why. A sub with a rms rating of 2000 watts with only 1000 wrms going to it or, a sub with a rms rating of 1000 watts with 1000 wrms going to it????????? hope to see if I'm right.

I decided to redo the gain setting on my saz3000 without using bass boost. Sub is audiopulse axis I started to set it using a DMM on ac volts along with an ac clamp meter first run gain was at min and i got 31.7 volts and 12.89 amps = 408 watts?? second run higher gain-- 79.8 V, 24 A = 1915 watts another higher gain-- 83.4 V, 25.3 A = 2110 watts another higher gain-- 84.8 V, 26 A = 2204 watts after that run the amp shut off. I checked how much more gain i had and i was amost max. so i turned off the amp, tried it again and i could see/hear clipping so i got confused 2204 watts and clipping, I got my WT3 woofer tester and did an impedence curve. It not a big deal, but lately when i turn my remote knob for my amp down, it makes the sub pop a few times.. Is this an indication the knob is bad and i should buy a new one? Mike

Hi guys need your help here, would you recommend the SAZ 1000D or SAX 1200D to drive 1 Fi Q 12 Dual 2 ohms (1000 watts RMS) in a ported enclosure? I been doing some reading which indicated that, it's been recommended that the amp should be higher than woofer's RMS so I decided to ask the experts. Thanks, Shopvac.

unfortunately, after re-installing my car audio I found my sundown amp going into protect. It goes into protect immediately; the power light turns on about 1-2 secs later; 5 seconds later the two relays marked with a purple X close/open(click)...; unhooked from speaker; I found manufacture damages that were covered in glue, marked in black; red. In pink there is some rubbing damage to the winding; no metal caps blown; the plastic ones which the top may have some give; each one can depress at-least a mm or so. That's all I can tell visually. I cannot smell burnt electronics; nor are any burns prevalent on top of the board. I've built small circuits and studied them a lot;…

Im gonna get 2 Fi BTL 12s 2ohm DVC and Im going to be getting a 3500D, whats the wattage at 13.8-14.4volts? would it be able to put out about 3500wrms for the subs? Or would I be better off with two 2000Ds? p.s. Ill have two batteries, big3, and all the electrical I need.

It was delivered yesterday to my work. I opened it up today. It. is BEAUTIFUL!!!! Sure, it is used (I bought it from Jacob's resale link.), but in great condition. Comes with the 1 year warranty and the remote gain adjust. I can't wait to incorporate it into the system I am getting ready to install in my car. Jacob was fantastic to deal with. He talked me through a paypal transaction. Just to not sound like a dumbass I had never done that before. He shipped it fast before he left for the CES.
