Well I former friend of mine is finally getting some gear, and he is being his normal self and competing with me. Hi got 2 15"s of these: http://www.splusa.net/SW_S3.htm And he is saying that he is gonna walk all over my 12" Nightshades and 3000D. Is he that pig headed? Yes I think so; he is convinced that any 15" is gonna be louder than a 12". I think he knows I'm gonna be louder than him so he is mad about it...or maybe its cause I'm dating his ex This kid also doesn't know anything about car audio, Ive tried to teach him but he is thick skulled. Any Input?

I would consider myself a "lurker" when it comes to forums. I compete in the local SPL scene here on Oahu and am a member of Team Sundown. Anyway, I've reached a landmark in my brief SPL career the other day and decided to share it with fellow Sundown Audio enthusiasts. In testing I was able to break the 150db mark on the Term-Lab, now to do it in competititon. Here's some info, pics, and vids of my current setup. Subs are wired together at 2 ohms. I have 2 sundowns running, 1 amp for each. The subs are both seeing 2 ohms and putting out 1600 to each sub. Which output terminal do I put the speaker wire in. Left or right. It says for 1 sub its right, 2 its left, but the amps are not strapped. Help?!?!

"I got a little dyslexic on the title" I've got a 100.4D on the way and was wondering if anyone has experience with these speakers. There is a $100 difference between these two companies. They are going in a Honda CRV with limited depth. These would probably install without spacer rings. Any other suggestions on component 6.5's would be helpful. I'm trying to stay under $400 http://www.woofersetc.com/index.cfm?fuseac...Product_ID=7038 http://www.subwooferboxshop.com/mm5/mercha...Code=cdtspecial

My girlfriend eventually wants a system in her vehicle. Nothing really loud or anything, just a bit more bass then stock and inexpensive. I showed her the E8 and she thought a small sub was "cute" and wants one. The small box would leave space in the trunk as well. I plan on building the box for her, but I must be retarded. The recommendations for the box are 0.60 ft^3 tuned to 30 Hz ported. I've been messing around with the calculator on RE's site and can't figure out how I would tune it that low in such a small box. The only way I was able to do it is if I make the port only 0.5" wide, which sounds way too skinny for me. Any help?

I took some flex videos today. Not nearly as powerful as Meade or Assman, etc..... But not to bad for 2000 watts of Sundown power and two 15's that are 600 watt RMS from a trunk car. Playing Airforces by Jeezy. Can't wait to get my other subs so I can get more power in the car. http://s278.photobucket.com/albums/kk91/ba...rrent=Flex1.flv http://s278.photobucket.com/albums/kk91/ba...rrent=Flex2.flv Edit: It looks better in person.
