i was woundering if anyone here could help me design a box for my newly aquied 15 inch custom dual 1 nightshade i will be putting this in a 94 eclipse i can get the max messurement if u need it i will be doing some comps but also want it for daily too or i can just build two differnt box s if need be

Alrighty down to business! Take note of my 2 pics below. The first pic shows a piece of mdf with 4 12volt fans in it to cool the amp which is under it. Notice the second pic where the amp is underneath the fans. I am doing this so i don't lost 100% of my trunk as i will be going back to school in september. I guess this is a makeshift amp rack! My question is should my fans be blowing onto the amp? Or sucking the hot air off of the amp? Im planning on getting 2 15" NightShades v2 and was wondering if I should go with 2 saz2500s or 2 1500s. i know SD underrates just about everything so what do yall recommend? Also what else should I get as in electrical. how many batts and im guessing i would need a HO alt? Ill most likely do the big3 as well.

Would an electrical system comprising of a 100A alt, two yellow tops, and 0/1 throughout support a 1500D @ .5 ohm?

which amp would be the best match for a JL 13W7? SAZ-1000? I can run it at .75 ohm or 3 ohm. thanks.

Has anyone actualyl done power testing on the 100.4? I really want 125 watts x 4 rms but I really want a sundown amp so just curious what the 100.4 really puts out? Thanks

Fully tested down to 1/2 ohm each. Both were mounted and used and show a few signs of use on the mounting feet and near the speaker connections. i want to run two solo x 12" in my grand prix on two 3000.1 sundown saz and i was wondering wut load solo x is best for my amps dual 2ohm or 4 ohm? and how many additional batteries do i need? this is a daily driver with a 220 amp alternator.

As the title says, do the new SAX-100.2's have the new heatsink on them yet? I'm wondering because I already have a SAZ-1500D and a SAX-100.4 with the new heatsink and would like a matching SAX-100.2 to go with them.

Finally got all the pieces together and got the system intalled in my Mazda 3. Bought one of the refurbed 50.4's from db-r at the great price they were offering them at to serve as the power for my satellites. Using an old set of Boston Acoustic Pro 5.4's that I've had for years and never did get around to putting into a car for now. The power light adds a ghostly blue-white glow to the interior of my 3. So far, it sounds absolutely amazing.

Well the more I study the x-over section on the 50.4, the more unsure I am. Basically I want to run two channels to my 6.5 " mid-bass. I'm planning on using the LPF on my HU so I just need to x-over the top end, not sure where yet. Then the other two channels to my tweets thru HPF on amp. The sub-sonic filters on both sets of channels has me a little confused. Could someone be so kind as to tell me a good starting point on ALL switches? Also I'm running one set of RCA's to the amp and the other set to my sub amp. Can I use just one set of inputs or do I need to use Y adapters (would rather not do that because of any signal degradation, tho probably not much). Than…

i was wondering if u could help me out sundownz... i am trying to find the depth of a sundown e8 v1 from the top of the surround to the bottom of the magnet. i am doing a stealthy build and depth is a big restriction. thanx in advance

i have been looking at getting an 12" fi ssd and its rated at 800 rms. I have also been lookin at amps and everyone has something good to say about sundown. Would the sundown sae 1200d be a good choice for the 12" fi ssd? thanks

So a good portion of the new raw parts arrived today -- nearly a full 40' HQ truckload of soft parts and frames. Plus, of course, additional E, SA, and Z v.3 style parts! Still have more that will be arriving on our next two containers as well to complete all of the parts we need for X, Z v.4, and NS v.3 drop-ins / re-cones... will be partial containers of parts on those as many of the out-of-stock woofers will be coming in on those trucks as well (SA and SD-2 lines). Ok, I have 2 FI BL 18's, D2 ohm now with 2 sundown 1500d's strapped. I still have stock alternator battery up front and powermaster d3100 in back. I am getting another 3100 and missinglink module, and think it comes set at 14.4-15.2v. Now I want to add another 18". Should I run both my 1500d's strapped on the 3 which is 1.3 ohms I believe, or sell them and run 1 saz-3500d?
