Did a couple of search's and did not find anything close to what I wanted to know. Bassically is the regular anodized aluminum trim plate that sits on top of the map removable without doing anyharm to the amp itself, by removing the 2 SHCS located on either end. Reason why I am asking is I wanted to make a custom plate for mine. Thanks in advance for any help. Toolmaker

Fs was 31 Hz after very little break-in so I expect it to settle around 28 Hz or so, dead on with what our goal was. Still did quite well in the Jeep despite being optimized for another application!

Not really sure what I am asking here but here goes. I am running a TC3000 15"DVC sub. Each coil is 2ohms. I am running this parallel to a SAZ1500d for a 1 ohm load. With no music this specs out at about a perfect 1 ohm at the box terminals. Now whem I measure resistance while music is playing using my trusty calibrated Fluke 87 DMM, The lowest I am seeing resistance-wise is above 3 ohms. It never gets below and of course we are not going to discuss the high point. This is all done on a 60-20 htz sweep. So one of my questions is, does this mean that my sub is at most only getting 500 ish watts? I suppose what I need to do next is measure voltage and current. Was just doin…

This confirms my theory that the Monster design *NEEDED* a ton of power to get loud - which confirms my decision to move with the NS-X first and continue work on the Monster design to increase efficiency AND power handling. ok, i read the tutorial on strapping 2 saz-1500ds, and know about the other wiring and to use the br out on master to br in on slave. I am ordering my other 1500d next monday, and was wondering what rca's people use for the br in and out. Its just a single rca, and i have looked around several local places and they have nothing. Could i just buy some cheap rca's and seperate them? Thanks

You told me that my SAE-1200D would not go "Thump" when powering down and you held true to that. Absolutely no noise what so every. It is perfect and for that, I thank you. BUT....as for the power rating I have to call BS. No way no how. I turned this thing on and it scared the chit out of me. I'm running two sealed 12" TC-9's and I thought they were going to fly out of the box. I had always felt happy with my Hifonics 1606D with it's 1600 watt rating but this 1200 puts it to shame. After reading the FAQ, it seems that the speaker wire outputs are parallel wired inside the amp. I'm trying to wire a SAZ-3000D for a single one Ohm load. Do I need to sum the positives and negatives outside the amp or can I just pick one set of + and - and get the full wattage out of the amp. Thanks. Carl

Chris over at fisher customs is designing me a box for 2 nightshade 12's to go in my mustang. The box will be 3.8 cf total (1.9 cf each sub) with 4" aeroports on the side and subs facing back into the trunk. The box will be tuned to 35hz. This will be used for daily driving using two 1500's. I have seen on other threads where others using the nightshade 12's are using boxes with sizes around 1.5 cf for each sub or just slightly larger. Should I get Chris to trim down the size of the box to get closer to the 1.5 cf per sub? Or, is the 1.9cf more in line for that sub on daily driving? Thanks for the help.
