does anybody know what this amp puts out on a good electrical, what it be good for 2 icon 12's

When the 10x switch is on, does this apply to both HPF and LPF? or just the one that the switch is "lined" to? Also, something I've been thinking about lately, When bridged to two channel, if RCAs are plugged into ONLY channel 3 and 4, should I be hearing from the speakers that is bridged on channel 1 and 2?

"I got a little dyslexic on the title" I've got a 100.4D on the way and was wondering if anyone has experience with these speakers. There is a $100 difference between these two companies. They are going in a Honda CRV with limited depth. These would probably install without spacer rings. Any other suggestions on component 6.5's would be helpful. Wanted to share my install with everyone on here because I have been reading your post and advice for a long time. Its a saz 1500 on two Kicker L7 10's in a sealed box internally fiberglassed for extra strength and also for better sound quality. Kicker was not my first choice of subs but its hard to find a 10 inch sub with shallow mount that can handle the 1500. Went forward firing because its the loudest application you can get in the titan and also because up or down firing limited mounting depth. Went through 4 brands of subs and swapped out a diamond audio d5 1200 for the Sundown before being happy not an easy truck to get great sound out of. Here are some pics.

Has anyone heard these ? If so how do they sound and what do they compare to? Thanks I didnt wnat to muddle up Jacobs for sale thread.

with all the new amps coming out thru sundown, how long will the saz-1500d be available? i need to get another one, but it will be at least another month or two before i can. Like, are the going to discontinue it when other amps come out? thanks

Hi Jacob or anyone who can answer this question is the NSQ a reality or still a sub that is in the prototyping stage? and if its a sub thats made to order whats the price and lead time on this beast and what kind of power should it see for daily use?

Hey, Just wondering if I should look into getting another 1200 or 2 1500's in the future or a 3000 lol... I wanna hook up a 1200 to each BL but I was thinking what If I wanted a single BTL or Nightshade in the future 1200's can't be strapped... or shouldI just wait and cross that bridge when I get to it. How is the SQ of the sundown amps. I see that the power there but how does it stack up against other amps SQ wise? Where can I find third party reviews?

Ok, the last couple of shows I've been to I have been down a few tenths. 157 at the Vinny, 156.9 this weekends Madvette show. I know my voltage has been an issue, but I'm working on that. So I discovered (by accident) another way to wire my subs to a lower load, and my amps don't go into protect.

Im looking for large stickers that i've seen on peoples car that says "Sundown Audio" Or "team sundown audio" Fairly large that are to be placed on the back of your window. Any prices? and how much shipped to 64068? Such as But for sundown obviously

I hooked up my amp the other day and turned on the car for the first test and the protection light turned on for a couple seconds and then turned off. I wasnt getting any power to the speakers so i checked the manual and it said i either have a short in the speaker wire or my amp is faulty. So i disconnected my speakers and tried again and the light still flashes on then off. Should i send the amp in? Its an SAX-50.4

Just finished unloading... will ship pre-orders next week as they all must be tested. I am very happy so far with how they turned out -- hope that customers enjoy them as much as I think they will ! If I ever get time I may drop one of these in my Jeep and see if I can still do a 150 with one of these 15s *laughs* Would be fun to try at least.

I have decided to start building the box now, to motivate me to save money and buy the woofers. :bigclap: 2 Nightshade 18"s Dual 2 ohm coils, to be ran at .5 daily on a SAZ-3000. But I need to know what kind of airspace these things like. I have no idea since I hear they like small boxes. I was think 9-10^3 net, tuned to 35Hz. I wonder if Thumper would build me one.......

Just had two questions. (1) Can a pair of SAZ-1500d be strapped together at 0.5 ohm? And (2) would a 200 or 300amp ALT, red top up front, and a pair of Kinetik HC2000s be enough current to power them correctly? Thanks in advance.

Well i'm offically a sundown dealer. I have 3 3000D and a 100.4 on the way to me. Here is the layout for the system. SUV: 1999 Burban Head unit: Pioneer 7800 Front stage: Polk Audio SR6500 Rears: Rockford 6.5 coax Front and rear amp: Sundown Audio 100.4 Subwoofers: 3 Fully Loaded Fi BTL 18's Subwoofers amps: 3 Sundown 3000D's Power: High output Alternator, 2 Kinetik 1800's up front and 5 Kinetik 2400 outback. Enclouser: Wall with Fiberglass front paint the same color of Suv, ported and tune to around 35 hz.

Ok so here's the deal...I ordered 2 sa15's 2ohm and a saz-1500d v2 The ported size is 3-4 cubes so I found a ported box that had 3.05 cu ft for each sub and tuned at 29hz...so come to find out that's the gross cu ft and it has 2.55 per sub, so my question is...is this box waaay to small for what I have? If so there is a audio place near by I could have build me a custom box....so if I go this route what do you guys think on a box? It will be my everyday driver and im just lookn for some hard hitn bass, for all tyeps of music but mainly hip/hop, rap....not to concerned with db numbers. Ok so i bought 2 of these off a guy that got a whole shipment from jacob. He reconed them and sold them. My concern is i asked them to be dual 2 but when i put them on a DMM i get 1.5 per coill. Both subs are like that. My question is do the D2s have that low of impedance or did i get D1.5s

Does anyone know if $525 for the saz2000 is the christmas sale price or was that the original set price?
