Up for grabs is a pair of 10" Sundown SD-1 subwoofers. I used these briefly for testing purposes, they will come with full warranty as they are very close to new. They do have speaker wire soldered to the terminals, though, pretend it's "direct connect" like DD Price is $125 shipped for the pair in the continental USA. These are GREAT with an SAX-100.2 to power them. I am running a pair of 10" SD-1s in my 2002 Civic if that tells you what I think about them

what kind of drop should i be seeing from a pair of strapped 1500's @ 1 ohm for a burp? I'm using a nsb-90 with the car off. it goes from 13.8- low 11's. is this right? i'm going to start and run my car in the morning and see what the drop is!

I received my 100.4 and i must say amazing customer service and extremely fast shipping. I am going to run active with Supremo Tweeters and SEA mids. From people's experience should i use the filters from my pioneer 9800 head unit or from the amp?

Today I took the Escalade to its first show its seen, I honestly was expecting to do terrible, but I just wanted to go to have fun and meet people, I wasn't about the numbers. I haven't had access to a termlab to test with, and I totally thought the Funkmaster Flex show was next week. Hello all, My question is as follows: When utilizing the RCA output on an amp, such as the 125.2 or 50.4, how is the outputted signal affected by the crossover and gain settings of the amp it is coming from? For example, if I were to use a 50.4 to run tweeters and mid range, and then I wanted to utilize the RCA out of the 50.4 to connect a 125.2 which I would use to run mid-bass. Will the RCA out of the 50.4 only pass the higher frequency signals that it is set for to run the speakers connected to it, or will it simply pass the signal through that it is receiving from the head unit? I've just opened up the tummy of my amp and discovered that one of the coils or inductors are touching one of the fuse legs, is that anything to worry about? and uhhh hope i havnt just got rid of my warranty?? ehh.....prob doesnt matter anyway because it will be over a years time from purchase that i may actually use it lol... Hey guys I just got my amp today its HUGE. Im running 2 sets of comps off this amp, Hertz HSK165 for the front and infinity kappa perfect 6.1 for the rear. I thought i hooked everything up properly but that was not the case. My balance and fader controls are wrong, when i adjust to left or right the front left and rear right work. I dont know whther the speaker wires themselves are wrong, or if iinstalled the rca wrong. There are no markings on the rca just 2 red and 2 black so I dont know where they go. Secondly, I need help setting the adjustments. I want this amp to be stritcly for mids and highs since I have 2 subs. I set it to HPF for both switches on the amp…

Was in the boys car driving with him tunes were medium loudness. We were able to talk over them. Suddenly speakers sounded funny and shut off. By speakers I mean subs. We get back home and amp fuses blown. We replace fuses subs come back on, sound even funnier and then pop. Fuses gone. Allow me to add, after the first pop of fuses, we checked all cables and wires. No shorts. Started checking subs and every one of them showing open. Not dead short. open as in there is no circuit from positive to negative. can someone explain this to me in simple terms of how it works? I'm trying to understand how it works but am giving myself a headache. I want this amp to power 2 fronts, 2 rears and 2 "show off" external speakers. Now, by doing a standard wiring job, all 4 in car speakers @4ohm would be receiving as advertised 100w per speaker. I set all the x-overs on the amp the way i want them to be. I then decide to hookup these 2 extra speakers in tri mode by bridging each of the 2 speakers on ch1+2 and ch3+4. This is where i get lost... If the original speakers were receiving 100w before, what are they getting now including the add-on speakers? The amp is rated for 320x2 @4ohm... …

Every message I sent today was rejected by my server... just got all of the errors all at once at the end of the day. Something is up and they seem to think I sent over 100 e-mails in one hour... so until I can figure out what is going on it may take me longer than normal to reply. I can still RECEIVE emails no problem, though, so you can still send me a message... but this problem seems to have made email not work on my Blackberry as well and I have to log into my Hotmail to send any messages... so response time will be up. I am wondering about something I hear alot of people talking about and want to know what it is. What is the big three? I have a Sundown audio 1500.1, to a single 12, sub box tuned to 40 hz. Electrical setup is as follows, for right now at least, stock battery up front. With two runs of 4 guage back to kinetik 800, then to a 3 farad cap, then to fuse block and lastly amp. Ground wire on second battery, and capacitor are 0 guage. I know I need to upgrade to all 0 guage, that is coming. I ran outta money, but I am still running at 12.7 at full tilt. I have Knu Konceptz Krystal Rca's in my ride and I need a Single Rca to Master/Slave my Saz1500d's together. Anyone know of any nice Rca's to use to make the Single run? Well im tired of having no bass in about all of my rides. Know that its getting to were its snowing and blowing i would like to get something in the van to hold me over unit summer seeing my 5th and 6th DD 3518's are not in and im still getting around money to power them up. If I use the first four channels for a front stage (woofer/tweets), would I be able to run a pair of coaxial's for the "5th and 6th" channels in the rear doors. The coax's will be 4 ohm models.

My Maxx-Link is installed & dialed in as well as my amps and everything is sounding great. Since I had the clamp and dmm in the truck I decided to go ahead and take some measurements. My strapped 1500s put out 90v and 40a while drawing 400a of current with voltage dropping from 13.5v to 12.2v. If my math is right thats 3600watts @ 2.25ohm & 12.2v out of a pair of strapped 1500s. My subs are dual 1s wired in a parallel series configuration. Basically the amps are strapped @ 1ohm (0.5ohm each).
