alright well i just got my install in my crx finished today. and decided to show up at some small competition in danville illinois called bass wars or something like that. unfortunetly they are still using the audiocontrol. im running 2 Treo SSi 15s off a sundown 3000d with the gain turned all the way down. Well I have most of my system in right now. Had to send my planar mid ranges back to good ol Parts Express so slapped together two little boxes with some quart 3 1/2's to play the mids in my system. Also blew my Fosgate 500a2 and swapped in an Orion 900.2 my boy was going to use (I bought him a refurbed SAE1000d from Db-r) So its been some ups and downs. I am running a Sundown SAZ1500D on a TC Sounds TC3000 15 DVC in a 3 1/2 cubic foot box @ 40 hertz. Here is the amp rack as I got it fitted in my car. Just for the record, am running a full active system with 8's in the door, my missing planar midranges and planar tweeters. Hope to do Sundown justice.

My Maxx-Link is installed & dialed in as well as my amps and everything is sounding great. Since I had the clamp and dmm in the truck I decided to go ahead and take some measurements. My strapped 1500s put out 90v and 40a while drawing 400a of current with voltage dropping from 13.5v to 12.2v. If my math is right thats 3600watts @ 2.25ohm & 12.2v out of a pair of strapped 1500s. My subs are dual 1s wired in a parallel series configuration. Basically the amps are strapped @ 1ohm (0.5ohm each). Due to your high-end products, I'm wondering if there are any production ideas involving multi-channel amplifiers a year or two down the road. Possibly a 150.4, 200.4 or maybe even a 5 channel? If so I would be greatly interested!

hi all can i use the remote gain on my 100.4 to attenuate MY MIDS off channel 3 and 4 ? reason i ask is because i was looking at other remote gains and saw that frequency was a factor in how those work so i just want to be sure

ok the issue is channel 4 of the amp does not work. amp has never really been used. its still under warranty so ill be sending it in sometime in the future just curious how many come out of the box with a messed up channel? i just used channels 1 2 for my comps and bridged 3 for my coaxials for right now. great amp just has an issue.

Just as title states, I just aquired an used 3000d and it will be powering an D1 sub.. this is a daily setup and the sub is an RE MT12... Im basically on stock electrical with an yellow top and BIG 3 in an S10 chevy.. Should i wire this in series or parallel you think... I must add that i dont understand all that much about impedence rise but know it exsist and do not know what or how safe this is at .5 ohms.. anyways, thank you..

my sub is wired to one ohm. How do I wire my pos and neg speaker wires to the amp? Can I go from the positive terminal on one side to the net on the other?

I just installed my SAX100.4 and when I was hooking up the Power/Ground I got a spark. I had hooked up the ground first and was undoing the screw for the positive connection on the amp. I guess the side of the screwdriver touched the the side of the amp and the positive screw at the same time and sparked a little. The amp works but I can't think of why it did this. Anyone care to enlighten me? Also, I was wondering what exactly the remote knob controls? Is it gain or bass boost?

Anyone have an extra remote knob laying around that they could spare? I am in the final stages of putting together my system for my Mini and got a great deal on a 100d but it was missing the knob. Any help would be appreciated. David

what is everyone getting on a saz 1500 output voltage wise ?? i did my set up with a 60 hz tone crossover set at 80hz..speakers NOT connected.. i set it at 39 voltz...output AC sounds good but not very loud at all.. maybe i am doing something wrong ?? i know they can get louder .... help..

Well the build is now getting started, I got the SAZ 3000D today, and then i picked up a Jensen DVD player with my earnings from the last competition, now on with the pics!!!!! Out with the old... In with the new... I got some Dynamat too... The Kicker KX350.4... The KS 6.5" 2 way door speakers... The KS 3 way 6x9's... And now the big boy sundown SAZ 3000D that will be powering the BTL... I will have more photos when i get the BTL, and the batteries! Enjoy!

I have to say congratulations to Gary aka banginAltima for his new personal best score of a 146.9. This was done out of the trunk of his '06 Altima using a pair of RF T1 15s powered by a single Sundown saz-1500d. It is a daily car tuned to 33hz and peaks @ 41hz so no fart boxes here. This car will absolutely pound some Jeezy. This score done with the car completely sealed and mic on the windshield DbDrag style. He is by far the loudest trunk car in his power class. Sundown Powa! I didn't do too bad today either taking 1st in Street Bass (like BassRace) with a perfect 139.9. Yay for cash prizes!

Are the Sub Out RCA's controlled by the subsonic filter built in the amp? Or are they purely non adjustable pass throughs? Thanks

Hi Guys, So I want a SaZ 3000D and nothing else. problem is i know my electrical might or might not make it. All i Need (for the time being) is 2000RMS into 1 ohm problem is; im half way around the world and no one is doing a alt for my car. at the moment im pushing 1200 RMS (mono only) into 2ohms and dont have any problems with my all stock electrical the plan is to get the big 3 done and two identical deepcycle battery's im planning to push the 2x BL 12's if any one would want to know my current amp will do 1750 RMS into 1 ohm but somehow i think a big amp working not so hard will give better results then a smaller one driven to its max ?? + its a sundown so i got to h…
