I have heard GREAT things about this up and comming audio company! I have just upgraded to a fi BTL 18 fully loaded, so im now in search for an amp. I was wondering if anyone has specs on d class amp, more than 2000w continous. Where can i purchase an amp? Thanks for the help everyone

I am currently running a Kenwood eXcelon KAC-x40 for my comp set and I have had no issues with any whine or hum coming through my comps. However, yesterday after swapping out my SAE-1000 for the SAE-1200 I now have a whine in my comps when I plug the RCA's into it. With the volume at 0 the whine is still there. I think it is odd that I am getting a whine in my comps when plugging the RCA's into my sub amp. When I remove the RCA's from the SAE-1200 the whine goes away completely. Okay so my next system will be (2) 12" Z v3's and (2) SAZ-3500D's, I was curious if anyone knew the specs for a ported enclosure. I would run both amps at 1 ohm. I'm just curious as to how much more room is needed. I have (2) SA-12's in a 3.5 cu. ft box tuned to 30Hz. I would like to stay somewhere around there. i have a question, what glue is used when assembling a spider pack together? is it rubberized ca that is used? and is it applied to just the outside / inside lips? or is it applied to the entire surface.

ok! I have just a general question on spl boxes . lets say you have a box that can do a db of 150 in a ... lets say... a suburban now lets say you have two duplicate set ups two same boxes, two same amps , two same subs and you put both boxes in the same car would you end up with 300 db? now i know its more technical then being able to stick the same boxes together to make more db's , so whats the science behind this? also i know that its hard just to have the power going to the amps for a single setup none the less two setups so lets just say the power is coming from an outside source into this suburban ones again just l…

Well I former friend of mine is finally getting some gear, and he is being his normal self and competing with me. Hi got 2 15"s of these: http://www.splusa.net/SW_S3.htm And he is saying that he is gonna walk all over my 12" Nightshades and 3000D. Is he that pig headed? Yes I think so; he is convinced that any 15" is gonna be louder than a 12". I think he knows I'm gonna be louder than him so he is mad about it...or maybe its cause I'm dating his ex This kid also doesn't know anything about car audio, Ive tried to teach him but he is thick skulled. Any Input?

Hey guys i am looking for a tuning frequency for 2-15inch NS to use for SPL. My box will have interchangeable ports one for daily and one for an SPL show. my daily will be 34hz and for spl... i don't know what to use 40? 30? any recommendations on this would be awesome! i am using 2-6inch aero ports btw! in a 6cubic box powered by 2-saz2000 strapped and yes this is my new build starting around April if not much sooner!!!! thanks for your time and recommendations! this weekend i built a 3cf enclosure with 2x 4" areoports 7" long ea and did a 151.7db lil Jeff showed up with a 12" Mtx and did a 141.8db then noticed the box was not sealing where the sub seats in the boxx enuff blablabla new Custom SD window decals. mine Jeffs jeff using 1 amp jeffs 12" my single 15" boxx 2x 4" areoports 1st place & Highist Spl for the show 151.7db

Where should i set my ssf filter to on my saz-1500d? Using it to push a AQ hdc in a 3.5 cube box tuned to 38.

Maybe I should run multiple smaller amps instead of 1 large amp. So instead of a 3000, maybe 2 1500's. I am liking the idea of it, more wiring options. What do yall think?

ive got a 1500d on 4 12's.i just turned my gain up a tad bit and now its hittn hard but skippn my cd player when it hits a certain bass note.ive got to fix this probablem cause i do competitions and i cant be having that.ive got a alpine 9885.any sugestions as to what i can do.thanks guys.ive still got another amp to put in.thats why im worried

Stock 15" D2 Nightshade - Short Coil, Stock Cooling, 3 spiders Power = 2x SAZ-3000Ds strapped @ 1 ohm (internal strapping) I matched my best score with the "Monster" design. This confirms my theory that the Monster design *NEEDED* a ton of power to get loud - which confirms my decision to move with the NS-X first and continue work on the Monster design to increase efficiency AND power handling. I tried turning up the head unit more but did not gain any more SPL - just got the sub hotter!

ok, i read the tutorial on strapping 2 saz-1500ds, and know about the other wiring and to use the br out on master to br in on slave. I am ordering my other 1500d next monday, and was wondering what rca's people use for the br in and out. Its just a single rca, and i have looked around several local places and they have nothing. Could i just buy some cheap rca's and seperate them? Thanks

Well,As I mentioned here. I did get a chance to hook up the second SAZ 3000D today. I measured a nominal 3 ohm load with each coil series and each woofer parallel to eachother. Anyway in theory there would be something to gain (stability if nothing else) running these subs strapped to the 3 ohm load. Initial testing reveals noticeable gain in output and in SQ. BUT there's a nasty engine noise from the subs now. Seems to not be effected by the gain. Both amps connected to the same battery (in the trunk) with <3ft lengths of #1/0 guage. resting at 12.6V car off (total 3 batteries in car). RCA is a 1.5ft piece of high qualtiy patch cable. hi guys, im using this calculator http://www.caraudio911.com/tutorials/GainSet/voltage.htm to get my gains all set up on my truck, and im getting different numbers. i have 2 sundown saz1500-ds strapped, and 2 d2 fi audio BTL 18s in my s10 can someone help me out on getting these gains where they should be? also i metered it the other day just setting the gain by ear and it did a 146.8 legal. im getting 2 more sundowns down the road, i want to be in the 150 club! thanks for your help in advanced,
