Hello, I am looking at a 100.4 to run my entire system with CH1/2 running a full range component set and Ch3/4 bridged to a subwoofer. I see in the owners manual that the HPF is a 12db filter but coundn't see what the subsonic is. My primary question is that since there is some overlap in these two filters if I wanted to filter out the fronts at say 60 hz is there a reason to pick one or the other to use or to use a combination of the two? Thanks John

Hey guys I just got my amp today its HUGE. Im running 2 sets of comps off this amp, Hertz HSK165 for the front and infinity kappa perfect 6.1 for the rear. I thought i hooked everything up properly but that was not the case. My balance and fader controls are wrong, when i adjust to left or right the front left and rear right work. I dont know whther the speaker wires themselves are wrong, or if iinstalled the rca wrong. There are no markings on the rca just 2 red and 2 black so I dont know where they go. Secondly, I need help setting the adjustments. I want this amp to be stritcly for mids and highs since I have 2 subs. I set it to HPF for both switches on the amp…

Still need to clean it up, wash it, and get all the saw dust and crap off everything so it looks better. Pretty dirty right now though. Not finished though. Going to have more highs inside the cabin when I get money (obviously), glassed doors, glassed center console, and some extra stuff on the amprack like more speakers and some logos on the black thing. Its not anywhere near "finished", but its all playing, and it looks pretty good now. As said, still need to put the line driver in and hook up my alternator. Will make a huge difference since right now the batteries sit at like 12v and the voltage drops so low that the amps shut off. Havent gotten the subs even close to …

Is the wired remote control for the SAZ-1500D a bass boost or is it a level control meaning will it boost a certain frequency or will it adjust the entire output level of the amp? Also when I set up the amp, my head unit outputs are 5V so I set the gain on the amp for 5V right? So when I attach the wired remote for the amp, regardless of what level the remote is set to I shouldn't get any clipping? Sorry if it sounds like a dumb question, but I've never owned an amp with a wired remote. One last thing, the SAX-100.4 also comes with a wired remote, does it work the same way as for the SAZ-1500D?

I did a quick test today on one SAZ1500D.. i used a clamp on meter to measure current in the speaker wires and a digital multimeter to measure voltage.. i'm not sure if i measured this correctly, but i recorded the peak values seen and not the average.. I played a 48Hz test tone during testing and used a pair of dual 4ohm Audiopipe TXX series subs.. Re per coil - 3.6ohms 1st try.. (volume up high, but not maximum..) Voltage - 57.5V Current - 23.7A Power - 1363W Impedance rise 0.9DCR - 2.43ohms Voltage at the amp dropped from 14.4V - 12.1V I tried it again at a lower volume and got this.. Voltage - 38.0V Current - 15.7A Power - 596.6W Impedance rise 0.9DCR - 2.42ohms (I c…

How do you wire it to the sub? Like do you have 2 sets of speaker wire entering 1 terminal? Like this: This is how I have it wired up right now. The green sections are basically 3 wires twisted together and taped with electrical tape. So my question is how do I eliminate the electrical tape. I don't want to twist them together. Is there something I can buy to do this? Other then those plastic cap things that you twist on?

i just got me a nice pair of twins! i tested them in my vehicle while at the store, (no RCAs and speakers connected, used my relay) and they 'restarted' like normal.. (which further hints that there was a problem with the 3000D..) anyway, i can't wait to get these connected.. and i just can't stop staring at them..

10" diameter slugs, triple stacked. The pole flare is a bit shallower and narrower than I wanted... but we'll see how it does with testing. I have the coils, spiders, cones, etc waiting for it here! Picture is from the factory, it's on the way to me soon Not showing the other side of the motor yet, sorry guys! And before anyone asks... no ETA on production, I still haven't tested this prototype yet!
