Ok, I have a SAZ-3000D that i will be using on 3 dual 2 ohm aa havocs in a 6.2 cube enclosure tuned to 32hz. My question is, will this amp be enough power to push them to their potential? I have the big three done in 1/0, dual runs to the rear, 3x yellowtops in rear, redtop up front and mechman 270A alt. What kind of power can i expect from this setup out of this amp? I been thinking of upgrading to a saz-3500d, but is the trade off worth it? If i will only be gaining 200-300 wrms then ill just keep the 3000d. Feel free to chime in and give your feedback on this. so here's my dillema. i bought 2 sa12s after hearing my brothers friend erik talk about them on and on. they were on ebay and i got 2 fro 200. sorry im ballin on a budget. so when i decided to buy my amp i guess i lost my mind cause i bought to big of an amp just because i could and the price was good on db-r. was originally gonna run the 12s in my civic but its kind of ugly right now and just bought a pair of 23s for my tahoe so i might as well put the system in it. if I were to run 3 or 4 dual 4 sa 12s what would this amp put out at 2 ohms or 2.667? it will be a sealed enclosure cause i dont think i can fit a ported enclosure behind my third row along with an extra ba…

What kinda numbers do you think I can achieve with this setup? Car is an 06 Scion xB, currently I have stock battery up front, and a Kinetic 800 in back. Big 3 is done and dynamat everywhere so far but roof. Only cause I ran out of money. Box is 1.44 tuned to 38 hz sub up port to passenger side. Port is a single 4" aeroport. I made box so there is roughly 8 and a half inches to side of truck. 3/4" mdf except top plate top plate is two layers of 3/4. Box has lots of bracing. Jacob I need you to review this electrical for use with 2 saz 1500's strapped at 1 ohm. 180 alt 2 batcap 2000.

I am replacing a 1000D with the SAZ-1500D. I already have 4 gauge power and ground run to the trunk. Will I experience significant loss by using 4 gauge? I will be running the amp at 1ohm. 4 gauge ground is about 24" long going into a ground distro block with 0 gauge grounded from the block to the chassis about 12" away. Existing 4 gauge power is about 3 feet from a distro block that has 0 gauge coming to it from the battery. I have done the big 3 with 0 gauge. Have a 200A alt as well. Lastly, will a 150A fuse be enough for the 1500D? Thanks all.

hey whats up i have 4 dual 4 ohm subs and want to run 1 amp many people have recomended me that the saz2000d will b .5 ohm stable and i will have to run it at that, will that amp handle that, i heard it will put out like 2300 watts at .5 and b stable thanks

I am looking for an amp that is 80-90watts at 8 ohms. Will any of the new amps coming out be able to put this out or am I basically stuck with a 100.4 bridged with gains down?

Can a SAX100.4 handle an 8v input. The deck I plan on using is an Eclipse CD5000. I just want to make sure so I don't burn the inputs on the amp.

Jacob, from what I have seen you post in the past couple weeks on the new sub, it sounds like you are planning on making it for more of a ported/spl/ high power app? If so, I have an idea which you may or may not like. I suggest that you make 2 versions of it, 1 for the ported/spl crowd, and another that is totally for the small sealed crowd. I don't know if it's possible to do with the same motor and just a soft parts swap.. call 1 the p8, and one the s8. I have 8 of your e8's and I like them, but wish they had more power handling in a small sealed app. They do tend to bottom fairly easily when you get some power to them, in the recced enclosure. will b building a new box soon, & tryin to figure out how much port area you'll recommend 4 a 15" ns in a 3.5 cube box? I have it n a 4.8 cube box now, & it sounds good. using 3 4" aeros @ 32 hz. not sure if I want to use the aeros or a slot 4 the new built, would like to use the 3 4"s but ill b to long 4 my box. so I'm thinkin maybe only usin 2 4". what u think?

Well, after a couple of weeks of installing 4 of the new Nightshade 15 V.2's I've finally caused a little damage to my truck. Demoing last night on music my windshield came loose at the top of the cab. Everyone was saying my moulding was flopping around and when I poked my head out the side the window, they were right, I was losing air big time from the separation. The bad thing is today is the show and last night I was only at at half knob on the LC-1, I burp at full input signal on the LC-1. Needless to say, gotta go silicone and duct tape the windshield down this morning and since I have to replace it anyway, my goal is to break it on out today during my street beat ru…

Hey guys i know this might be a dumb question but what are the diffences between the nightshade and the Z? What does each sub excel at? I hear alot of people saying very good things about the nightshades but not much info is floating around about the Z. I see that both are rated at 1500wrms(im sure they take way more), is one a SQ sub and the other SPL or a combination of both. Any help would be appreciated, thanks
