at a local show. pretty good number with 4 1500's on 6 IA DR 12's. would of done a better number if i didn't start later in the song like i did. the end had a pause in it for about a sec and it wasnt a consistant note which dropped it more.

hey jacob ive asked for the sx recone b4, but since i dont know the measurements do you maybe know if your recones would fit a MT? i think the coils are the same ontop is the sx12 bottom is mt18

First off... I have to ask: will it be as efficient as a brand new one? Secondly... what voltage should I expect the true 1K RMS @ 1-ohm?

I have 2 1500d that I got from Dbr and 2 Fi Q15. My HU has a 3 preout which is for front, rear and sub. Each 1500d will power a single Q15 and I connect both amp with RCA. Let say RCA from HU connect to amp A and another RCA connect from BR out of amp A to input to amp B. Is this the right way to do it? Now when I scoped amp A it shows 40.4V with gains set at 3/4 of unclipped signal. Now when I scopped amp B with max gains I only got like 32V and it does not clip. So I decided to swap the RCA from HU to amp B. I got 41.5V with gains set at 3/4 of unclipped signal. But when I scopped amp A it has the same problem. Got 31V from it unclipped with max gains. Hey, i would be glad to get some Suggestions from you Guys I wanna Build a Box for the 2 18s i gonna buy from Tye, they will be running off 2 3000Ds the Box should be good for Daily groundpounding but my goal is the 150. What kinda Airspace, Port Area and Port length would you guys suggest me? This is what my Trunk looks like (not my car) i got the dimensions from the back part of the trunk, but since fitting Port and Subs at the Top will be kind of hard (damn domes) i thought about doing something like a mini wall with subs and port behind the frontseats facing forward what you guys think?

how do you guys figure out how long an external port needs to be? is there a website or program i can plug numbers into? im using the box calc. from "torres" and plugging in the external port numbers doesn't change tuning. please help, thanks

Hey guys i know this might be a dumb question but what are the diffences between the nightshade and the Z? What does each sub excel at? I hear alot of people saying very good things about the nightshades but not much info is floating around about the Z. I see that both are rated at 1500wrms(im sure they take way more), is one a SQ sub and the other SPL or a combination of both. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Jacob I need you to review this electrical for use with 2 saz 1500's strapped at 1 ohm. 180 alt 2 batcap 2000.

my sub is wired to one ohm. How do I wire my pos and neg speaker wires to the amp? Can I go from the positive terminal on one side to the net on the other?

i have a 3500d if i run it at 4 ohms would i still need to upgrade to more batteries and alt or could i just have the big 3 done.

seeing as i finally decided i want to wall off my truck, i need a few opinions and specs. i was wanting to know if a 14^3 box would be to big for 2 18s. i want the box tuned super low, and i've already done some calculations, and with a 14^3 box and the 4" ports i already have made. it would tune the box to 22-23hz. so the other thing i need to know, is what do one of these subs require for port area. with 6 4" ports, i have around 75^2 inches of port area. would this be enough? or do i need to go with bigger ports?

Hey guys, I thought I'd start this topic before I istall everything to learn and get some info on how to do it. I bought 50.4 to run Image Dynamics CTX65CS in front and CTX6 in back. Then I grabbed 125.2 to run two Image Dynamics ID8''D4 v.3, both at 2ohm run on separate channel and Trevor at PTS is building ported box for them now. All of this will go to Pioneer 880PRS head unit. I know how to connect everything, I will pretty much get to the part where everytihing is connected and I start to wonder what the knobs on the amp do There's just so many of them any info would be nice....

im fixing to wire up my 1500D to one sub, how do i go about doing it, just use one + and one -?

so ill give you some info first truck - 99 s10 ext cab (no 3rd dr) 2 15" sundown nightshades 1 saz-3500D blah blah blah anyways, the box i orig. built for them isnt cutting it, so now im thinking 3/4 wall (i still want to be able to see out my rear view mirror) so can anyone help me with a desgin? im looking to tune to 35 hz, subs forward port... not sure where to fire it 43" long, 15" or less deep, 26-28 inches tall, 26 would be more ideal. this is for daily! not spl, i want it to slam the low notes, but sound good on every thing else. let me know what you guys think. thanks!

alright, can i set my remote gain to where full remote gain is peak for me. by setting the amp gain low, and having the remote gain hi will that mess the amp up or send a clipped signel i know with the hifonics you can not use the remote gain as a volume knob for the amp, but the hifonics remote gain for the goliath is a input adjuster, so it raises and lower the input signel, i wanna make sure my sundown can dothe job or not also jacob i got no sundown swag with my amp.... can i get a sticker or somthing:D and a flyer,

I'm wanting to purchase 2 saz-3000D's and I had a few questions about them... My first question was how do I order some? And the pricing of them? I live in colorado and I have no dealers of Sundown, so I'm pretty sure I would have to buy over the internet

Jacob, how did you decide to make the 100.2 and 1500D in the same manual? The only pages they have in common are the Warranty and Troubleshooting.

I cant find a dealer in WI for these and I'm looking to possibly buy one for my Cadillac... Anyone have any ideas of how much and where I can get one?
