i have a 3500d if i run it at 4 ohms would i still need to upgrade to more batteries and alt or could i just have the big 3 done.

I was wondering if going from a Us xt2000 to the sundown 1200 would be worth the change. I found a sundown 1200 but would it be a big difference from the Us I already have installed. I want to upgrade to the Sundown 1500 but I am gonna hold off little longer on that. My sub is a Loaded Fi BL 15 in 4 cuft ported box tuned to 32hz. Thanks Mitchell Fuller

I have 2 1500d that I got from Dbr and 2 Fi Q15. My HU has a 3 preout which is for front, rear and sub. Each 1500d will power a single Q15 and I connect both amp with RCA. Let say RCA from HU connect to amp A and another RCA connect from BR out of amp A to input to amp B. Is this the right way to do it? Now when I scoped amp A it shows 40.4V with gains set at 3/4 of unclipped signal. Now when I scopped amp B with max gains I only got like 32V and it does not clip. So I decided to swap the RCA from HU to amp B. I got 41.5V with gains set at 3/4 of unclipped signal. But when I scopped amp A it has the same problem. Got 31V from it unclipped with max gains. hello Jacob, I my nightshades blew on me. I was pushing them with an IA 40.1 @ 1 ohm no bass boost and gain set properly, however, I don't want to change my amp so I want to upgrade these to handle the power. I need to know how much it will be to have these two reconed with more spiders and longer coils. They are dual 1 ohm 15's. Please let me know because I want to get this done asap have the money on hand and getting ready for a local comp. Thanks.

alright im putting a new system in my 2004 pontiac grand prix here are the products Pioneer AVIC - Z2 2 Concept 9.2" headrest monitors 2 Sundown 3000Ds Two FI BTL 12"s fully loaded Now here is the question i have a sound stream BX-12 sound proccessor with 13.5 volt sub outs and also a Fusion EQ/CROSSOVER/LINE DRIVER with 8 volt sub outs. Now I should i include either one in the setup or im also looking in to getting the AudioControl DQS with the digital Control PAD. RCA's are high quality Kicker shielded cabling. Okay i have 2 1500d's strapped at 1ohms 4 dual 2ohm 10's gain not even quarter the way up no bass boost or anything have mechman 240amp alt and 3 deka batts was giving someone a dmeo today and all 4 fuses on my slave amp poped 2 ofem literly melted had to use pliers to take out the 2 ends of the fuses have been running this system same setup for awile now then this just happened outa the blue funny thing is was just playing some hard rock music wasnt even pounding the shit outa them like most the time question is should i try to replace the fuses and see or is there something i can do to test it out beforehand so i dont fry something else making it worse its only on the …

my sub is wired to one ohm. How do I wire my pos and neg speaker wires to the amp? Can I go from the positive terminal on one side to the net on the other?

Okay, I think I have it done, my electrical will consist of a 300 amp alternator (Iraggi), A Powermaster S1200) up front, (2) D1200's for the trunk, all wiring for batteries and amps will be 1/0 ga., Subs will be (4) of the SA-12's powered by (2) of the SAZ-1500D's. This is all going into the back of my 2001 Camry, with the box designed by banginAltima (as soon as he's done) so hopefully the Mad Scientist of SPL (Jacob Fuller) will be proud of me

just curious on what these amps weigh. 3000d & 100.4 trying to get everything totally figured out on the system and the car as far as if the rear will need to be lowered to get the stance i want along with the front or just the front alone with all the weight going in the back. thanks in advance Chris

hey jacob ive asked for the sx recone b4, but since i dont know the measurements do you maybe know if your recones would fit a MT? i think the coils are the same ontop is the sx12 bottom is mt18

Trying to see if I can get a response from Jacob from Sundown on here about sending my amp in for repair. i believe its pretty much screwed due to low voltage. It was ran off stock alt and stock batt with 1/0 ga ran and 1/3 big three done. i'm hoping to send it in and put a optima or kinetik up front and do the big three. but i cant get a response from jacob ive emailed a few times over the last two days to no avail but I know hes busy. how do you guys figure out how long an external port needs to be? is there a website or program i can plug numbers into? im using the box calc. from "torres" and plugging in the external port numbers doesn't change tuning. please help, thanks

Hey, i would be glad to get some Suggestions from you Guys I wanna Build a Box for the 2 18s i gonna buy from Tye, they will be running off 2 3000Ds the Box should be good for Daily groundpounding but my goal is the 150. What kinda Airspace, Port Area and Port length would you guys suggest me? This is what my Trunk looks like (not my car) i got the dimensions from the back part of the trunk, but since fitting Port and Subs at the Top will be kind of hard (damn domes) i thought about doing something like a mini wall with subs and port behind the frontseats facing forward what you guys think?

Hey guys, I thought I'd start this topic before I istall everything to learn and get some info on how to do it. I bought 50.4 to run Image Dynamics CTX65CS in front and CTX6 in back. Then I grabbed 125.2 to run two Image Dynamics ID8''D4 v.3, both at 2ohm run on separate channel and Trevor at PTS is building ported box for them now. All of this will go to Pioneer 880PRS head unit. I know how to connect everything, I will pretty much get to the part where everytihing is connected and I start to wonder what the knobs on the amp do There's just so many of them any info would be nice....

Jacob, how did you decide to make the 100.2 and 1500D in the same manual? The only pages they have in common are the Warranty and Troubleshooting.

seeing as i finally decided i want to wall off my truck, i need a few opinions and specs. i was wanting to know if a 14^3 box would be to big for 2 18s. i want the box tuned super low, and i've already done some calculations, and with a 14^3 box and the 4" ports i already have made. it would tune the box to 22-23hz. so the other thing i need to know, is what do one of these subs require for port area. with 6 4" ports, i have around 75^2 inches of port area. would this be enough? or do i need to go with bigger ports?

i know there both sundown but which one would be better on 2 kicker cvx 12"woofers?being that one is a saz versus sae i dont know the difference...

I was wondering if maybe 2 Gcons would be better in that box, or maybe two sealed SA-15s in a different box. Im trying to save space and dont want a huge box. Just send me some ideas please.
