are 3-4 years working with the company as a distributor of the brand in Italy, and I have been here to see a lot of improvements that Jacob was able to do in recent years. A major expansion of components, management, and fame! i know there both sundown but which one would be better on 2 kicker cvx 12"woofers?being that one is a saz versus sae i dont know the difference...

This may be a dumb question but.......i saw on another thread about the 8" @150db talking about you running it on a 3500d @1 ohm and putting about 1500-1700 to it correct? But the 3500d is rated 3500 @1. Does it put out the 15-17 due to gain and volume turned down, or what? Also, i see people talking about running .5ohm daily, what kind of power does the 3500 put out there without clipping? what about 1 ohm @ 16v?

can a sazx-100.4 handle 2 ohm on bridge mode?, if any one have try it before, let me know thanks

So im happy to say that ive made up my mind and instead of squeezing 2 HDC3 15's in my truck im gonna go with 2 nightshade 15's since they like smaller boxes. My question is when are they going to be back in stock in the ssa store and are they gonna be the v2 or v1 or both? Has there been any word on how much the v2 is gonna cost?

I have 2x SAZ-1500Ds that are used. These amps carry full warranty coverage from your date of purchase. They are very lightly used by Team Sundown members. They are 9/10 on a bad day cosmetically, all look the same with pretty much only minor mounting foor wear. Yes, the logo is upside down on one of them... it is reversible so you can change it back. These are $450 each shipped to the continental 48 states.

Has anyone mounted their Sundown amps upside down? If so, were there any issues with heat?

I'd like to know what's the efficiency spec. of the nightshades. I couldn't find it in the website.

Decided to get a professional box made by my friend who is a master installer... since i am no fabricator. What is the recommend port dimensions for these subs? I emailed jacob but I figured I'd post here. Would like to get started on it today. Should I do 2 seperate chambers? 2 ports , 1 with each sub.

I know this is backwards of what most people ask, but I cannot find it documented anywhere. I have limited space, and I'm trying to upgrade my system using the equipment I have sitting in my garage. So, that would have me using 2 channels of my 100.4C bridged - running a single SD-1 10" sub...which is an 8 ohm sub. So, what I'm wondering is how much wattage I will be able to get out this amp at 8 ohms bridged? My guess, based on the published specs, would be in the neighborhood of 200 watts. Just looking for a confirmation of this. Thanks!

hey i saw the amp has 4x40 amp fuses. i have also talked to a couple sundown guys who say you can get 2500 rms at .5 ohms with 14 volts. i dont understand how you can get 2500 watts from 160 amp's ?? because 160 X 14.4 and 85% efficiency equals 1958 watts i dont doubt that the amp puts out the power i just would like an explination why

just got home and found the new love of my life waiting for me! first i must say, jacob has been cool as hell with all of my emails, i paid on sunday and here it is wednesday and i already have it!! this s.o.b. was pretty much a box inside of a box inside of a box inside of a box...yea...basically like 4 boxes....if the ups man managed to break this, he should slit his wrists... next on the list is a powermaster d3100, and then a sundown3000d when they get back in stock! once again jacob, thanks for letting me be a part of team sundown...i will try and make ya proud!!

alright im putting a new system in my 2004 pontiac grand prix here are the products Pioneer AVIC - Z2 2 Concept 9.2" headrest monitors 2 Sundown 3000Ds Two FI BTL 12"s fully loaded Now here is the question i have a sound stream BX-12 sound proccessor with 13.5 volt sub outs and also a Fusion EQ/CROSSOVER/LINE DRIVER with 8 volt sub outs. Now I should i include either one in the setup or im also looking in to getting the AudioControl DQS with the digital Control PAD. RCA's are high quality Kicker shielded cabling. what kind of drop should i be seeing from a pair of strapped 1500's @ 1 ohm for a burp? I'm using a nsb-90 with the car off. it goes from 13.8- low 11's. is this right? i'm going to start and run my car in the morning and see what the drop is!
