Ok I am runnign the single SD1v2 sealed in my MINI and it sounds great! I also have 4 more and was thinking about running them ported off of a 1000d or a 1200d in my wifes car or my 4runner. Any suggestions for a ported enclosure for 4 of them? I have 2 4" areo's to use, how much airspace for the set? Thanks all! David

On June 24th 2011, I ordered a pair of Sundown Z-18 v.2 D2 Subs from woofersetc.com Roughly a week and a half later the subs were received but when unboxed the basket of one of them was severely cracked in 2 places. I contacted woofersetc, and they set up a claim with fed ex. Roughly a week later fed ex came out and picked up the sub and due to some type of miscommunication it was shipped all the way back to CA. The sub wasn't supposed to go back, due to a shortage of baskets they were searching high and low for a basket and I was going to get broken sub back, transfer the magnet assembly and re-cone it myself. Hey Jacob, I am looking to make an amp rack in the wheel well and I will be putting 3 amps in it, the 1200D, 100.4 and 125.2 for now.. I was wondering if I do this will I need to add a fan or anything? or do you think it would be better to make an amp rack on the top of the trunk? Perhaps even on the Box if I have room? just wondering what you think I would need if I am forced to go with the wheel well, just don't want them to run hot due to insufficient ventilation. I am replacing a 1000D with the SAZ-1500D. I already have 4 gauge power and ground run to the trunk. Will I experience significant loss by using 4 gauge? I will be running the amp at 1ohm. 4 gauge ground is about 24" long going into a ground distro block with 0 gauge grounded from the block to the chassis about 12" away. Existing 4 gauge power is about 3 feet from a distro block that has 0 gauge coming to it from the battery. I have done the big 3 with 0 gauge. Have a 200A alt as well. Lastly, will a 150A fuse be enough for the 1500D? Thanks all.

So I hooked up my 100.4. I'm running 4 10 inch RE re's. I ran the subout rcas to the channels 1 and 2 and then ran 3 and 4 off the line outs. I'm using a dmm to tune the amp so I first put the 80hz 0db tone on at a low volume to set my low pass. speakers not hooked up and get all the way down. i stuck the dmm into the pos and neg of the channels 1 and 2 as if bridged. I got a reading of like .725V AC max and turned the low pass knob down until it started to change and figured that must be set at 80hz then. next I read each channel just to compare. they were .36 and .349V. Hey guys, just curious I'm reading on another forum that the sae and saz are comparable! Is this true and are only about 200 watts in diference can anyone elaborate? If so which is better for a single 12 to 15 inch woofer rated about 1-1.5k.

I decided to go with 2 sets of CDT components. If i decide to run them active, can i run all 4 tweeters off channels 1 and 2, then run all 4 mids off channels 3 and 4? This should be 2 ohms all channels? thanks

I'm wanting to purchase 2 saz-3000D's and I had a few questions about them... My first question was how do I order some? And the pricing of them? I live in colorado and I have no dealers of Sundown, so I'm pretty sure I would have to buy over the internet

i know there both sundown but which one would be better on 2 kicker cvx 12"woofers?being that one is a saz versus sae i dont know the difference...

my sub is wired to one ohm. How do I wire my pos and neg speaker wires to the amp? Can I go from the positive terminal on one side to the net on the other?

What is the exact optimal box volume, port opening (wxh) & port depth for two 15" NS vented tuned to 30~32hz

seeing as i finally decided i want to wall off my truck, i need a few opinions and specs. i was wanting to know if a 14^3 box would be to big for 2 18s. i want the box tuned super low, and i've already done some calculations, and with a 14^3 box and the 4" ports i already have made. it would tune the box to 22-23hz. so the other thing i need to know, is what do one of these subs require for port area. with 6 4" ports, i have around 75^2 inches of port area. would this be enough? or do i need to go with bigger ports?

hello my name is kyle i'm new to the fourm but i'm real cool with one of the sundown Reps Dj Williams i was wondering which is the Sound Quality Z or SA also which is the Sound Quailty Loudness sub i'm looking at both subs i want a mix of spl/sq if that is possible.

just curious on what these amps weigh. 3000d & 100.4 trying to get everything totally figured out on the system and the car as far as if the rear will need to be lowered to get the stance i want along with the front or just the front alone with all the weight going in the back. thanks in advance Chris

im thinking about being done with the idea of twelves all together what do you guys think one sundown 18 or two 15's can they handle two 3000ds strapped daily at 2 ohms. i wanna move some air they will be going in 88 delta, but i have a 92 honda accord also which i have thought about using i am wanting to get in to spl wich would be a good starting point.

So... the other day I shipped an amp to the town I grew up in -- Severn, MD. Thought that was cool 2.8 miles from the house I used to live in.

i will be running 6-eminence alpha-6c's(4ohms,100rms) and 2-boss audio tweeters tw12(4ohms,50-75rms) and im confused as to which 4-channel amp to get considering the 50.4 looks as if it only has the hpf going up tp 3,000hz on two channels only and wondering if im reading it wrong. is the 100.4 the same as well or is their a special way to use the 50.4 in my application. two channels will have two eminence's on them each and the other two channels will have one eminence and boss tweeter each. if i get the 50.4, channel 1&2 will be dedicated to eminence and boss tweeter, while im confused on how to run the two eminence setup on channel 3&4 with the hpf only going to…

I am looking for an amp that is 80-90watts at 8 ohms. Will any of the new amps coming out be able to put this out or am I basically stuck with a 100.4 bridged with gains down?

Here is my situation. I am in the process of redoing my system and I am currently only running the Image Dynamics CTX65CS comp set up front. Next I plan on dropping a pair of Image Dynamics CX64 V.2 mid-bass speakers in my rear doors. Between the 50.4 and the 125.2, which do you think I can get the most performance out of? My thinking is that with the 50.4 I have more tuning options, and with the 125.2 I will have more power. Both sets of speakers are 4ohms. What do you think???? I know the 100.4 would be the better option, but I don't have the space to fit it nor do I want to spend that much more.
