Sundown Audio

Hey guys, I thought I'd start this topic before I istall everything to learn and get some info on how to do it. I bought 50.4 to run Image Dynamics CTX65CS in front and CTX6 in back. Then I grabbed 125.2 to run two Image Dynamics ID8''D4 v.3, both at 2ohm run on separate channel and Trevor at PTS is building ported box for them now. All of this will go to Pioneer 880PRS head unit. I know how to connect everything, I will pretty much get to the part where everytihing is connected and I start to wonder what the knobs on the amp do There's just so many of them any info would be nice....

I wanted to know how to strap together 2 of the amps? Do you have to run power, ground and remote to both or just master?

Jake, I'm looking at my new amps (Thanks BTW!), and I was thinking how sexy it would be to have some bridge pieces so that when installed they look like one HUGE amp. Would this be a possibility? Thanks! Ron

Whats a good tuning freq. for this sub? I listen to 90% rap. for some reason i was stuck on tuning at 30-32 hz

Install is thursday morning..and im just checking....I have 2 18" Btls fully loaded Dual 2's and 2 Saz 3500d's, amps are gonna be strapped...this is the best configuration? Thanks, Freddy

Im ordering through KNU and im using a cde-102. for powering im using **NEW** Kolossus Flex 0 Gauge Power Kit but for rca/remote and speaker wire i have no clue. I will be using it on a 18" fi BL. Any tips?

so, ive ordered 2 saz3000d and jacob realy helped me a lot to get them here he realy is a great guy and also the amps are absolutely beautiful they are here since wednesday, but i didnt had any time to put them in the car but i realy wanted to test them, thats why i build a amprack and put them in the car yesterday, i know, i doenst look good, but it was made in 15mins so the amps are GREAT, amazing build quality and they realy put out some power, to be precise, ive killed my mt yesterday while playing music..... but damn it was loud just a quick shot of the amps

I assume this is normal. Just curious what causes it to make a clicking noise when turning the amp on or off?

Ok this is so confusing to me i am confusing myself. So plz hear me out. First of all I am using 2 of these sub http://manuals.harman.com/JBL/CAR/Boxes%20...12GTi_rev_f.pdf Together wired in parallel they make a 1.5 ohm load which what i been told on here thats really 2ohms or a 2ohm amp for max power would be best suited. (parallel/parallel) = 1.5 ohm load Voice coils wired in parallel, speakers wired in parallel Right now I have a sundown 1500d which is 800rms at 2 ohms. I want to buy another 1500d and strap it. My confusion is right here since the sundown does 1500rms at 1 ohm and i decided to strap it what will my final ohm load be. I am hoping that if i strap this a…

Do you need to have all 4 channels for the 100.4 when bridged? reason i ask is I'm using it as 320 x 2 at 4 ohms for subs which i only have 2 channels of RCAs and I don't want to have to buy Y splitters if I don't have to. If so would you use channels 1 and 2 or 1 and 3 or what? thanks guys. -Trevor

Jacob, how did you decide to make the 100.2 and 1500D in the same manual? The only pages they have in common are the Warranty and Troubleshooting.

The SAX-100.4 is now OUT OF STOCK pending the improved "D" revision in 10-12 weeks. Was wanting to know if this wire is good enough for an saz3000d amp. Also what electrical would be needed?

Trying to see if I can get a response from Jacob from Sundown on here about sending my amp in for repair. i believe its pretty much screwed due to low voltage. It was ran off stock alt and stock batt with 1/0 ga ran and 1/3 big three done. i'm hoping to send it in and put a optima or kinetik up front and do the big three. but i cant get a response from jacob ive emailed a few times over the last two days to no avail but I know hes busy.
