The 10" 4 ohm model just came in today so I decided to take a few pictures of them all together. We've had the 10" in 8 ohm for some time now. Here is what i have noticed! when i turn on my car and the music starts to play the sub dones't kick in for a good 2-6seconds (i haven't done an official timing yet) as soon as i turn my car on though (turn the deck on i mean) the amps and fans all turn on, then the front stage first up right away and in a few seconds the sub will turn on. my question is why is this delay happening? did i do something wrong? i am currently using a relay for both my amps and fans so there shouldnt' be a problem. plus the amp is turning on right away so i dont' know what is up? maybe this is common i don't know so i thought i would ask! 1-15in NS 1- sae 1200d 4- fans 1- 100.4 2-batcap 20…

ok the issue is channel 4 of the amp does not work. amp has never really been used. its still under warranty so ill be sending it in sometime in the future just curious how many come out of the box with a messed up channel? i just used channels 1 2 for my comps and bridged 3 for my coaxials for right now. great amp just has an issue.

I know not all are created equal, but will the RF 1/0 4700+ strand wire fit like it does in my power T series amp?

For the 2 18" mts in the mini.. Main problem is electrical. Not sure on it yet.. I'm most likely going to get one 3000d first (due to money) so I can run it @ .5 to both subs. Then if I feel the need, I can get another, and switch it up to both amps strapped @ 2 ohms for both subs. Subs are dual 2. What do you guys think? Mids and highs amp will also consist of two 100.2s, and one 100.4.

has anyone tested this. is one louder then the other? and this can happen! my cyclop's were .2 louder when they were not strapped

ok heres my question (sorry if i seem like an idiot lol), I own a saz-1500d, and im planning on going with a single AQ HDC3 15" but what has had me stumped is if to buy a dual 1 ohm and wire the sub in series and then bridge it to the amp, or would it be a dual 2 ohm wired in parallel and connected to one of the inputs and not bridged, because what im trying to achieve is to have the amp play at 1 ohm at 1500 rms. the reason why i ask is because on the forum here i saw a a post that says the amp is not bridgeable, because it is a 1 ohm mono, but then on the manual the diagram appears as if it is bridgeable if going with a single sub setup, im obviously reading one of th…

The 4.2 cu ft. seem good and the box looks nice to me. I know building one will be a little cheaper but it probably wont come out as nice and would save me the headache of building one myself. But if you recommended that I just build one myself then that's what ill do. I emailed them asking what the tuning is so if its not around 33hz then obviously wont get. I just wanted to say thank you for your great products Jacob. I just put my system in the other day. It consists of 1-12"Sundown Audio Nightshade, a Sundown Audio SAZ-1500D, an old school USamps 4 channel powering a pioneer component set with a Pioneer Premier head unit. I have no direct Sundown experience, I have read a lot of good things and I'm here to see what they have for my application. I have been researching amps for my newest upgrade from 10s to 12s and I wanted to get some suggestions. I have two 12" Cadence SE Solo Beast DR subs dual 2 ohm vc, 600 wrms / 1200 peak per sub. I would like to be at about 600@4ohms and 1200@2ohms if possible so that if I choose to I can run only one sub at a full 600wrms and potentially upgrade subs in the future. Sure I'd like to say that SQ is all I want but, not in the trunk, SPL is what a sub if for IMO. I would like to compare actual numbers, for example, I've considered only 13.6-13.8 volts …

Hey, I tried to PM Sundownz but it would not work. Anyway, I currently have a Sundown 1000D amp and one day the blue LED decided to stop working. I don't know what caused this but I was wondering can it easily be fixed or can I get a new one shipped or what. It is not a huge deal but because of where I put it, it served as a floor light for me. Thanks, Alex

So I am wanting to build a new box for my 3 sa10's mainly just to see what I can make these things do with different tunings and box volumes. They are pretty underpowered for now on an aq1200d at 1.33 ohms. My current box is 4 cubes net at 34hz. Just wondering if I should go down in volume or keep it the same? The main reason for building a new box is just for fun/practice I have the wood and time and want to try something different. I will build another new box when I get more power. I know u dont recommend to run the SAZ 1500 @.5ohms but if I do do I have enough electrical? I have one deka intimidator (55 a/h) under the hood 2 runs of 0/1 to the back to a data safe (100+ a/h) and 2 105 amp alternators big 3 what do u think?

I built a sealed box for my E8V2 using the recommend cubic feet from the website of .25 and the sub just sounds restricted. Now I am gonna build a vented enclosure for the sub but lost on the port size. Every calculator that I use shows a 12" (w) x 2" (h) port being around 85" (L) tuned at 35hz with a volume of .6Vb. That just does not sound right to me, so where am i going wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

I am trying to figure out how the night shades compare to the digital design subs for a spl vehicle. I am wanting to know how loud the night shades are to the dd subs. with the same rms levels. I guess i would like a comparison btw the 9500 series and the 3500 series against the night shades. Any one with some experience here?
