I was planing to build a box that's about 1.50 cubic feet tuned to 36hz that's all I have room for. But I don't know which sub I should get Sa-12 Sa-10 E12v2. My amp should do around 750rms clean. This is for a ext cab truck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  8. Hey there! I have this awesome little subwoofer that i have barely used more than a few hours - and the surround in a small area is comming up from the landing. i heard chuffing in a sealed box with the grommet and thought there was an air leak. upon further inspection i came to notice that the surround was not fully adhered to the basket surround landing! this is a project for a customer of mine, and i have already sent an email into you via your web support contact form - but this is kind of an emergency, as i am supposed to be finishing the fiberglass box for him this weekend - i am about 50% done with it and i am going to push forward with the baffle and port still -…

  9. ok, so i read the specs for the 1000d, and it says battery wire terminal, 0 guage, so i go on ebay and buy a 0 gauge amp kit. and then when i go to hook up my amp, the zero gauge wire is 1/3 to big, and i thought rockford fostage would be more accurate, maybe it was that , or maybe sundown made a mistake on my amp or somthing, i heard it was ok to take off wire to make it smaller, as long as you clean it up nice, and then electrical tape it, so that is how it stands now. my box isnt here yet. so i havnt ran it yet. all sugjestions are apreciated so much, this is my dream system and i dont want to fuk it up by jerry rigging it like that or somthing. thanks guys. kevin

I know the sax-100.4 can handle 10-16v but what about a lil above that. lets say from 17-18v. Im trying to run my whole system all on 16v eliminating the extra 1/0 wire running from under the hood and adding to the 16v charging system. thanx in advance

  18. This is a direct replacement for our old SAX-100.4 model as it is a Class-A/B model amplifier. It is much more compact than the old SAX-100.4 but not nearly as compact as the SAX-125.4 model. We have had a great deal of demand for this unit as it is significantly less expensive than the SAX-125.4 model and is perfect for those that don't need such a small foot-print or a 19v stable amp (these are stable up to ~16v). They are available NOW for $400 from any authorized dealer in the USA. -----

  21. i am gettin alot of question lately about this, and it seems to put off alot of people that ask for a passive set up front and a 2 ohm subwoofer. and they been asking me if i can check for the SAX100.4 for 2 ohm bridged ability. can anyone test this? i only tried for a few mins on a low power subwoofer , without any special faults. no excessive heat, no protection, no audible distortion, i was wondering if anyone could bench the 100.4 @ 2 ohm bridge usability. it could be great to find out that it can do this:) thanks Eli.

I got a sundown saz-1000d in trade.since dont have any subs yet i unhook my four channel amp to see if the amp worked. when i turn my radio on the fuses pop.i only hook up the power and ground the remote wire and the rca up.i was thinking it could be doing this because im using 8ga wire and i have a 80 amp fuse under the hood. when i hook my four channel amp back up to the same wires it works just fine. i went to the part store and to get my fuses and everyone pop on me.i replace the fuse with 25 amp fuses.what could be causing my fuses to pop?

Everything was working fine last night. This morning i turn on the car and i can hear static coming from the woofer. I figured it was the subwoofer coil rubbing or something. Well i try 2 other subwoofers and i get the same result. Everything seems to work fine except there's static that kind of sounds like rubbing styrofoam together. I tried everything to rule out other components and still the same result. Strangely enough the amp works fine apart from that. So i have no clue what to do now. Do i just send it in to get repaired or what? I never thought i'd have any problems with it. Any help would be appreciated.

  25. Hey guys i'm new to the forum pretty much and i drive a 2011 camaro. i got that sundown amp with an incriminator audio death row 12.... i took it to the most reputable shop in town and asked them to install it. i've taken three cars to this place before and nothing has ever went wrong. They hooked it up, said everything was great, but they had set the gain on the lower side as i would need to break in the subwoofer for awhile and go easy on it. that was fine with me because i wasn't really gonna start slamming til i replaced my door speakers which will happen around late october. well the system worked fine the first day, it sounded amazing, better than anything i've hear…
