my best friend just pick up 2 sundown saz 1500ds and he was wondering if its better to strap these amp or just run each amp to each sub? i tried to tell him it would be better from to just strap them. the sub he will be using is 2 fi bl 18's which he will be getting around xmas time

Here is my set up......so far Head Unit - Pioneer Premier DEH-P690UB Front Stage - Hybrid Audio CLarus 6.1 Sub - Image Dynamics Q12 (DVC)...just one Question is which amp would work best....the SAX 125.2 (bridged) or the SAZ 1000D? Also, I'm looking at going active setup. Will the built in crossovers in the SAX 100.4 work as an active setup? Thanks

I know the sensitivity is only up to 6 volts but ill be running 2 3000Ds strapped

I want to run 4 infinity kappa 6.5 2 way. What is the best starting point on the crossover? Set both crossovers at full? I am new to all this and have searched and searched but it seems most people are using this amp for componets. It will be ran off a Alpine cda 9886 which they advertise has a high pass crossover bilt into it for the front and rear preamp outputs. Will this amp do what I need it to do? The moer I read the more nervous I get that i made the wrong choice. Thankyou.

As the title states. I will be on an actual vacation for the first time in ~6 years or so. The rest of the crew will still be here at the shop holding down the fort. You can still reach Brandon and Debbie as you normally would. Some things may be delayed a bit that require my attention but most things will get done no problem.

Ok, I have 2 FI BL 18's, D2 ohm now with 2 sundown 1500d's strapped. I still have stock alternator battery up front and powermaster d3100 in back. I am getting another 3100 and missinglink module, and think it comes set at 14.4-15.2v. Now I want to add another 18". Should I run both my 1500d's strapped on the 3 which is 1.3 ohms I believe, or sell them and run 1 saz-3500d?

Just wanted to say thanks to Jacob and everyone at Sundown for getting me my first 2 saz1500's so fast, as soon as I sell my laptop, i'll be ordering the other 2....should sound awesome on 8 x 15in SSDs in a ported clamshell!!! Thanks again Jacob!!! Now I just have to scrape the ice off the truck to put the stickers on, lol

Well I ordered a Sundown SAX100.4 and a SAZ1000d for my brother yesterday. He drives an 08 standard cab Chevy Full size. He will be running PPI 365 CCS components, a DD T1510 in a PWK enclosure and KNU wire. Only thing not ordered is what the factory deck will connect to processor related. I am leaning toward either a Cleansweep or Alpines H650. Can't wait to get the stuff going. For under 600 bucks for amps... What a bargain. Will have the install on here when we start.

I think this will be my last try to get some information. So you folks are my last hope to help or point me in a different direction. Here is my question. If I want to build a box of X cubic feet and there is not enough space where I want to build, can I build another box and have the two boxes attached by pipe or tube or sealed passage way etc.. Example: I would like to build a box in the right rear most corner of my trunk but there is only 1.5 cubic feet of space available if I build the box, and my sub needs 3 cubic feet. is there any specific way of wiring a Fi Q into 1 ohm? Its the dual 2 ohm. Do I wire to one speaker terminal or both? wiring diagram will help.

Well UPS finally came and dropped off my new baby in one piece...I must say, this sub is a monster. It looks like it could just devour my old type argghs! So I almost got the build complete, just gotta finish up my box and I'm good to go...had to wait on my ports which I also got today as well. I guess you can say it was a good day though. Hey all, just got my 100.4 from the UPS guy....opended it up, and then realized that it had a remote knob included....I never had a mids/highs amp with a remote knob included...so uh...what is the knob for??? very lame and dumb question, I know Freddy head unit mids/highs & 100.4 all get installed on friday morning at T-Rex audio here in CT..ill post pics and video when I get home most definately

I'm about to purchase a 1500d from a guy that is local to me. I was just wondering what it takes to run this thing at .5 ohm. My electrical will be: Stock 140a alternator, Big 3 done Powermaster D3100 battery for the front Powermaster D680 for the back Is there any reason that i wouldnt be able to run the 1500 at .5 ohm daily?

ok the issue is channel 4 of the amp does not work. amp has never really been used. its still under warranty so ill be sending it in sometime in the future just curious how many come out of the box with a messed up channel? i just used channels 1 2 for my comps and bridged 3 for my coaxials for right now. great amp just has an issue.

i have a d1 nightshade 15 and i was wonder if i could use one sae-1200d to each coil? if so would i wire each coil at 1 ohm?

SA-12 with D2 coils just sold out about 5 minutes ago. We still have SA-10 D2/D4, SA-12 D4, and SA-15 D2/D4 in stock. A container of all SA series 10,12,15 is due around June 20th. The SA-8s are not due until mid July.
