Well UPS finally came and dropped off my new baby in one piece...I must say, this sub is a monster. It looks like it could just devour my old type argghs! So I almost got the build complete, just gotta finish up my box and I'm good to go...had to wait on my ports which I also got today as well. I guess you can say it was a good day though. got it back today hooked it up to my RF power hx2 15 and all i can say is DAMN!!!! much better then the 250wrms i did have lol. i gotta do some tweaks to my box and it will be even better im tuned at 40 hz and im regretting it now shoulda stayed tuned at 30hz...... pics and vids coming later today

what size wire does it take i thought i saw 1/0 awg some where but cant remember . ugggh i feel like a trying to get everything to come around the same time so maybe i can get my system up and running in a couple months

I am replacing my son's existing 100.2/(2)BA G110's with a new 1000D along with the SD1-V2's. I plan on running 1 ohm load with 200+ watts of overhead from the amp. What measurements and adjustments do I need to make to adjust the gains so that my 16 year old son won't blow that crap out of these new subs? With the 100.2 & the BA G110's, they were a perfect 4 ohm bridged 400 watt match. I was told to adjust the gain for an output of 40 volts rms with the subs disconnected @ 3/4 volume. This setup has performed perfectly. Is there an initial setup voltage that I can shoot for that will limit the 1000D to approx 800 watts into a 1 ohm load? Any help will be greatly ap…

my best friend just pick up 2 sundown saz 1500ds and he was wondering if its better to strap these amp or just run each amp to each sub? i tried to tell him it would be better from to just strap them. the sub he will be using is 2 fi bl 18's which he will be getting around xmas time

Well I ordered a Sundown SAX100.4 and a SAZ1000d for my brother yesterday. He drives an 08 standard cab Chevy Full size. He will be running PPI 365 CCS components, a DD T1510 in a PWK enclosure and KNU wire. Only thing not ordered is what the factory deck will connect to processor related. I am leaning toward either a Cleansweep or Alpines H650. Can't wait to get the stuff going. For under 600 bucks for amps... What a bargain. Will have the install on here when we start.

is there any specific way of wiring a Fi Q into 1 ohm? Its the dual 2 ohm. Do I wire to one speaker terminal or both? wiring diagram will help.

Hey all, just got my 100.4 from the UPS guy....opended it up, and then realized that it had a remote knob included....I never had a mids/highs amp with a remote knob included...so uh...what is the knob for??? very lame and dumb question, I know Freddy head unit mids/highs & 100.4 all get installed on friday morning at T-Rex audio here in CT..ill post pics and video when I get home most definately

I want to run 4 infinity kappa 6.5 2 way. What is the best starting point on the crossover? Set both crossovers at full? I am new to all this and have searched and searched but it seems most people are using this amp for componets. It will be ran off a Alpine cda 9886 which they advertise has a high pass crossover bilt into it for the front and rear preamp outputs. Will this amp do what I need it to do? The moer I read the more nervous I get that i made the wrong choice. Thankyou.

If I want to build a box of X cubic feet and there is not enough space where I want to build, can I build another box and have the two boxes attached by pipe or tube or sealed passage way etc.. Example: I would like to build a box in the right rear most corner of my trunk but there is only 1.5 cubic feet of space available if I build the box, and my sub needs 3 cubic feet. i have a d1 nightshade 15 and i was wonder if i could use one sae-1200d to each coil? if so would i wire each coil at 1 ohm?

I am building a ported wall for 6 SA-15s and im having a hard time figuring out a good volume for the box. Its going to be a dailly driver so I want good sound tuned around 35hz. It will be ran off 2 2600w soundstream amps. I plan on listening to rap and bass tracks.

ok the issue is channel 4 of the amp does not work. amp has never really been used. its still under warranty so ill be sending it in sometime in the future just curious how many come out of the box with a messed up channel? i just used channels 1 2 for my comps and bridged 3 for my coaxials for right now. great amp just has an issue.

SA-12 with D2 coils just sold out about 5 minutes ago. We still have SA-10 D2/D4, SA-12 D4, and SA-15 D2/D4 in stock. A container of all SA series 10,12,15 is due around June 20th. The SA-8s are not due until mid July.
