Did this for a friend he wanted 1 - 8" mid 1 - 10" mid and 2 - tweeters in his door, so i cut out a mdf base to match the door panel, trimmed to fit. So here's the mockup so far, it all fits snug, we're using all crescendo components the selenium is for mockup. Using regular fleece and two coats of resin no fiberglass Fleece stretched and stapled Two coats of resin Fitted to the door Finished product nice and snug Not as smooth as i could get it but my friend didn't care otherwise i would have bondoed it, i think later down the road it will get vinyl not sure though

A little build we are doing at the shop, decided to take some pictures so here it goes. Soon I will be starting the rebuild in my SRT. I will be reconing the subs, adding some new mids and highs, new enclosure, new amp rack, battery bank, and possibly some exterior additions as well. I will try to get all the pictures that I can. Should be a good one this year.

My current setup is ok, but I think it is time to take things to the next level. My current project is upgrading to an active front stage. Later I hope to add another 12" GCON or maybe upgrade to a 15" XCON. Anyway, I got my HU and I am waiting for my seas 7" woofers to arrive. As soon as I get paid I will be ordering the tweets. Just doing a basic build for my work truck. I've had several build in this truck buy never a nice, complete, good sounding build. No numbers, nothing crazy, just clean sound. I chose to go with B2 on this build. Clarion double din. 1 deka g34 in stock location. 1 extra Diehard platinum under hood from the camaro. (truck has two battery positions. B2 Quattro 4 channel B2 Quota mono. 1200w @ 1ohm 2 sets of B2 components for the 4 doors B2 Reference 10" sub.

Well yesterday finally got descent weather to let the kids play outside so I can work on my build. Yesterday I was able to start with the sound deadner I had purchased several months ago. I am going to have to order more I did not have enough. Also I am going to order the SDS deadner next time. I have read alot of good things about don and his product and he responeded within hours of my email about his products. enough talking here are my pics. So excited to get this started. I just purchased a 15" sp4 d1 with all the bells and whistles. Now i have read that it is best in a 4th order enclosure. In the Fi specs it states its 3-5 cubes in 4th order enclosure. Now my question is then since im a newbie at 4th order. Is this correct: ported side 5 cubes so sealed side has to be half that so 2.5/2.71(counting woofer displacement) or should the motor be in the ported side? and what do i have to tune the ported side to? what is the best tuning for this sub? This is going in a 2012 chrysler 300. I will be running a kicker zx2500.1 at 2 ohms (that should be enough power right?) . My buddy said 65 herts so is that correct? I listen to alot of dubstep and…

So some back story I bought the hatch back my senior year of highschool with the intentions of making a loud daily driver setup and ended up getting real involved with build car mainly Hondas. I always helped with other builds but was never able to do what I wanted to mine until now. I did end up getting my setup together as far as audio but the hatch was never what I really wanted it to be. Recently I have become a single man and around the same time I was promoted at work and now make enough to redo my hatch while still providing for my two daughters. System 1: For me 12" FI BTL UFO DVC 1 OHM wired to .5 OHM Old School MMATS DHCx2200.05 amp = 2200wrms @.5 OHM & 13.8v or 2300wrms with 14.4v Box tuned to 34hz This system isn't currently installed.. it was in the trunk of my Jaguar for many years and it sounded good and got loud (Not competition loud) I never had it metered so I'm not sure what the SPL was probably 140ish.. I'm going to be installing it in my Ford Explorer pretty soon. System 2: For my wife MA 3600wrms amp thats overrated due to the fact that they rated it at 17volts. The amp is approx 3000wrms at 14.4 volts. Not the greatest amp...But I got a good deal, I picked this up for $150 used off craigslist.…

A few pics of my latest project. CLD CCF and MLV on all 4 doors. WAY more time consuming than I anticipated but I am pleased with the results. With Don's help it was really straight forward and not too complicated just super time consuming to get the fit just right with as much coverage as possible. Worth every hour.

Hello, I am quiet new here so dont hate me if i posted this in the wrong section^^ i have a question about the subs that i will get in april. its about 2 12" Fi xline subs and i want to put them in my Peugeot 107. My question is what the perfect box will be to create! can you guys help me I have room for 1 m2 spacee for wood and 40 centimetres high I really hope that you guys can help me becouse im desperate to bang the subs! Had this in a 1.35f^3 sealed box and it got down...but I felt like it wanted and needed more So I put her in a 2.5f^3 tuned ~33hz and WOW!!! couldn't be happier. I can't believe a $200 sub can play this loud and clean. Everyone who hears it always is impressed at how clear the bass is and that it is only 1 12" sub. This was my first box design from the ground up. would do a few things differently if I could do it over but overall I am happy with the results...

Sup... So I totaled my Explorer and broke my arm. BUT, I got a new job, got a new car, and got a (somewhat) new system. Long time member here first build log though. I have on order 2 sundown sa-12's and from what I already have gathered i need about a 4cu ft net common chamber box and I want to get around 30Hz tune. Looking for ideas on design as far as sub and port orientation. I plan on removing and reloacting the jack so i have more room to work with back against the cab wall. I am also making a false floor/platform to have a nice area to work with. I have 1500 watts on tap, stock electrical although I am also going to upgrade my power/grounds under the hood. I have a pretty beefy battery and with only 1500 watts I should survive with just charging upgrades. Have in the past but we s…

This might be a semi slow build, I have most of the equipment, but I do need a few other things to complete it all. I traded my truck in on a 2012 VW Passat about 6 months ago and I've had a stock stereo since. This will be my first time building a ported box, fis\rst experience with a processor (360.3) and my first experience with a 15" sub (SSA X-CON). The X-CON is Dual 1 ohm, so it should be good on the DC 5.0K at 2 ohms (2300 watts nominal). I am keeping the stock head unit, but adding a Rockford Fosgate 360.3 to control everything.
