  1. Ok well, I just came from the second skin warehouse here in Phoenix. Met up with the owner Anthony and discussed what he thought i'd need to get going for my small SUV. It's in desperate need for some second skin, so this is what I got today. NOt sure exactly when i'll be doing the installation of all this, but keep your eyes out for this thread in the near future for progress. Here's what I got. 3 boxes of "Damplifier Pro" for doors, roof, trunk lid, and floor 2 cans of second skin adhesive 3 crazy glues 1 roller 1 utility knife 2 rolls of luxury liner pro 2 rolls of rattle pad 4 Speaker Tweakers (mounts behind component drivers)

Here are pics of "Moms Soccer Van" before it goes in for custom vinyl graphics. Rear windows have been blacked out and urethane sealed To prevent flexing. Passive crossovers flushed into the passenger side under seat drawer. Refer all questions to 02skidoo as I only assisted on the dampening and tweeter install and brainstorming. Brian did all the rest himself. All dampening is Rockford Fosgate Deadskin (1 layer roof and sidewalls) Alt is from Ohio Generator and 3 Kinetik's. Could use a couple more. Now all I need to do is talk the Owner into Sundown and others!

Figured I'd post a build log for my truck, a buddy (John Holmes) and me are doing it. As I've said before I haven't dealt with car audio much since highschool but for whatever reason got the itch (herpes) this year. I don't really drive this truck all too often, it's primarily just used for towing although I will most likely put a few more miles on it now that it will have some sound. Did the big 3 and battery a few weeks ago but had to wait for a little nicer weather to start working on the actual sound part. Here's a quick rundown of the parts involved from front to back, it's missing stuff I know but it won't be done for a while. Front battery: Deka 9A78DT Headunit: Ec…

  20. Hello! For those of you who don't know me my name is Mark and I am the man behind "Car Audio Fabrication" on YouTube. I have posted build threads before (like this one: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/topic/57168-video-build-log-fi-bl-rockford-fosgate-focal-knukonceptz-tip/ ) and if you have ever seen one you know that I love to mix in "How To" Videos throughout the build that describe the process and show each step. This build will be no different! well, it will a little bit because I am going to try to mix in a lot more pictures for your viewing pleasure! 24. Finally I got to do some real custom work again, seems like it's been forever. This customer is a great guy who loves to try out new speakers and gear all the time. He comes back regularly just to change things up a bit. This time, he wanted to take the kickpod plunge with his brand new Hybrid L3SE's and rework the door speaker position a bit. Since he does change drivers often, we had to make the door pods very user friendly so that he could. Here we go. Stackin templates to relocate the speaker location. Now, one shape. All the rings stacked up. You can see the countersinking set that is screwed into the base is removable to allow for the trim panel design. We …

Here are the first 2 peices... Working around the stupid hump in the back wall. Here is a picture of the back, this is at a slight angle which is causing all sorts of hell with trying to line everything up. Another shot Once again, those are all test pieces. The only "good" pieces I have are in the first 2 pictures. Pretty much the bottom, back, and the small hump. Another close up of the internal driver side. Shot of the drivers side. All those pieces are finished. Internal of the driver…
