Hey Everyone, I decided to start my build log now... Thing's are starting to come together and it's close to rebuild time. This is going to be my Third build for this Car and hopefully my last one as my goal is to pay off my Envoy and make it my show/fun car, and buy my Lexus IS-F that I always wanted. I decided to build a kind of fart box for a local comp to get higher scores. and while i was designing it i thought i could make a second port for daily use and shove it through my backseat. I wanted to get a box for two 15s in the car but the most space i could get with the design i had in mind was 2.375 cubes per sub and i want more. so ill be using this box for this month then work out a new design based on this new box to get 2 15s in my trunk. this box will be a little over 4 cubes, with an external flared port, and lots of threaded rod and carriage bolts. i spent most of the day getting this far

The car is finally here. Here is just a bum load of pics, mostly old, and 4 new. More to come once I do more. So far all I've done is solder the CD player harnes, run wires, and figure out how I'm going to mount the speakers. And now for some new Pimp Mobile Needs sound deadening. The skin is pretty solid but the inside is like swiss cheese Crutchfeild thinks I'm mounting an old tape player I geuss. To walmart I go for a Sosche kit. Damn do I hate sosche kits. The halfarsed painted box. 1st coat and I ran out of paint. This stuff doesnt go on very thick. It looks nice in person though. Soon I will be starting the rebuild in my SRT. I will be reconing the subs, adding some new mids and highs, new enclosure, new amp rack, battery bank, and possibly some exterior additions as well. I will try to get all the pictures that I can. Should be a good one this year.

This is my 2006 Buick Rendezvous.... Pioneer 6800 DVD (not pictured yet) Ive got 4 Re Audio SEx 15's in a custom sealed box. The amp is a Rockford Fosgate T30001BD There is two boxes of dynamat extreme so far. I have a DC POWER 270xp alt. Box was made from 1 Inch MDF I didn't build this, a good friend of mine did in his backyard. ENJOY... Tuffguy40 came by and got a good video of my truck in action.

Here is the stereo portion of my bug build. I pulled this bug out of a field 2.5 years ago. It's a complete car build. The most of the interior was built around a nice system.. this is the car that I didn't have when I was in high school back early 90s..

Box build is happening today, it is raining right now, waiting for it to let off to get the first layer of resin in the box... Four more cuts today, and than its just assembly and glass work. I am probably gonna order 80 sq feet of second skin soon and throw some of that in. I have already removed all of my factory speakers. All of the equipment for this build is in my signature. Will be updating throughout the day. Box is 3.68 cubic feet (before port displacement) with 69 sq inches of port. Double front baffle, countersunk screws, and completely resin'ed. Will be holding two 10" TC sounds oem's and tuned to 42 hz. So here are some pics:

I have read so many other build logs on here I figured I would contribute by showing how my first build turned out. What Ford deemed adequate for my focus I deemed a bit weak. My old 8" from Ford My new Fi q12 d2 and my audioque 1200d Positive side 1/0 welding cable The 150 amp fuse My rear ground also in 1/0 My box which upon further research my port is too small on My ghetto temporary amp rack Good thing I need to redo the box anyways as I blew out a corner somehow I am not quite sure what I am going to do next to replace this. Picked this wagon up last winter for my spring/summer project vehicle The instal will consist of Subwoofers:Two 12inch fi bl's fully loaded daily versions (2010 3inch coil version) Amplifier: will be a Aq 2200d wiring it subs to 10hm load on the amp. Slowly but surly this Tahoe will become a basic demo vehicle. I already have 2.5 bulk packs of dynamat in the rear plus some Black Hole 5 in the rear doors.

I am helping a buddy revamp his install. He was using a JL Audio component set for the font stage and JL Audio 12w6 subs powered by JL Audio Slash amps. He bought my P99RS from me and is now running active I gave him a quick four hour tune while drinking some beers and we got the JL's sounding really good. Good enough to be winning competitions but he wanted more. He bought a set of Seas components and is hoping for a better sound. I recommended a different route but this is what he choose. I will get straight to it. I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 ST. Inside will be a combination of items. For head unit I am using a Pioneer DEH-P6000ub, For proccessors I am using Audio Control Four.1, Epic-150, and a 24xs Crossover. Amplifiers are Soundstream PCX1500d and Rubicon 2.250. For subs I am Soundstream PW15s subs and door speakers are Eclipse 8062 6.5" Components with Soundstream TSW.3 tweets. I am very happy with how this build came out, I have a ton of pics on the comp at home, and I will get them posted here soon,. I'd like to thank NT_Hardcore, Focalrock4life and my wife Kasey for all the time that went into the project. NT really did a nice job with the wiring, there are a couple things in the back that need to be tied up, and they will be when we can get the car back in a few days.
