Well I took the wall out after the show on Sunday, and it's time to start building the new box. Me and Alan only pretty much have the new box designed and will build it soon. Box will be 11cubes after displacements with subs behind passenger facing forward, with the port behind the driver facing up. Tuned to 35Hz. And I should have my other 2000 very soon. I'm really excited to get started.

I will get straight to it. I have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 ST. Inside will be a combination of items. For head unit I am using a Pioneer DEH-P6000ub, For proccessors I am using Audio Control Four.1, Epic-150, and a 24xs Crossover. Amplifiers are Soundstream PCX1500d and Rubicon 2.250. For subs I am Soundstream PW15s subs and door speakers are Eclipse 8062 6.5" Components with Soundstream TSW.3 tweets. For power I am running 2 Shuriken SK-BT60 batts. and a Power Acoustic 10 farad capacitor. For power and ground I am running 2/0 main scaled down to 4ga from the dirsto to the amps. We shopped for a Buick Rendezvous or Pontiac Aztac so we could get >18 cubes and still have room for kids, grocieries and such and avoid getting a minivan. Explorers, Blasers, Bravadas, and the like we'ren't nearly enough. Basically we are walling the hatchback. >20 cubes, 8" port. This is temporary until a 21" or 22" driver of similar specs is finished. ( >30mm Xmax, <20Hz Fs) I originally designed it to have the sub on top and port on bottom, but once the 22" is in, side by side works better.

For my chics B-Day shes gettin a whole new system. She knows nothing bout it so it'll be a good surprise:D. Anway, she wants some bump an wants it to get semi loud. Figured a 12" SX will be plenty, Powered by a USAmps XT4000D. So the sub should see bout 1000 watts or so. Box is 2cubes @34hz an will be resined(sp?) on the inside. Gonna replace the cheapy pioneer coaxils up front with RE6.5 comps powered a USAmps XT800.2. Each door will have 2 layers of Raamat BXT + Ensolite. All KNU wiring an RCAs. Got somewhat far on the box today. Letting the resin dry over night an will finish it up tomorrow.

Slowly but surly this Tahoe will become a basic demo vehicle. I already have 2.5 bulk packs of dynamat in the rear plus some Black Hole 5 in the rear doors.

I put 12.75'' of port inside and 7.85'' outside the box for a total of 20.6''. 12.75 is about the max inside the box I can fit because I want 8'' clearence from bottom of port to the bottom of box. The port is 8'' diameter and tuning is 32hz. I'm not sure if I have the correct amount of port on the outside..but I can always add on. If anyone can chime in on this, that'd help alot. A Kenwood KDC-MP538U deck is going to be installed. Knu 4 gauge wires and the BIG 3 will be done in 4 gauge as well. Stock speakers are going to be kept. Sub box is 2.5 cubes net tuned to 32hz. User will be playing all types of music and this is for a daily set-up.

Just got done with putting a tv in the steering wheel now I'm working on taking out the ps2 I had in the dash and putting in another tv in the passenger dash. Can neone tell me how to upload photos. Didn't see anywhere to do that

Well my previous setup consisted of 2 15" icons powered off a Soundstream pca2000d at 2ohm doing 1500 watts so each sub was getting around 750 watts each. My door speakers were boston acousitc sl60's in the front and infinity kappas in the read powered by a JLe6450 getting 75x4 at 4ohm. Heres the new! 2 15" icons powered by a kicker zx2500! so each sub is getting about 1250 each. A kicker zx650.4 I am gonna replace the sl60's and go with the PG rsd's take. Gonna take out the infinity kappas and just throw the sl60's in the back for the hell of it. I also will be doing big 3 having a kinetik hc1400 under the hood and a hc2400 in the rear. Hey guys i have a 95 grand cherokee an want to put 4 alpine type r 12" in it but i need to built it in 2 box so i can take it out by my self when go shoppin (family car lol) ill but running the sub with a audio pipe 3000d i dont really know a lot about frequency or hz but can u guys plz tell me if this box will work or what can i do to make it better am tryin to pose my pic but cant figer out how to do it

ok so the other night i took out the old box that was 10cubes at 28hz so that i could build a new box and seal off the trunk.... im goin to start this tomorrow night with sealing off the trunk cause i am sure that was a main reason for it not being loud, then im goin to build a new box with a little more port area and finish it all off with a beauty panal to mold the box in the back seat cause its no a full wall it more like a half wall...other than that ill being installin a set of alpine type x 6.5's in the front door replacing the crappy sony xplode ones.... the equipment thet will bu used is HU-alpine 9885 alpine types x 6.5's sony xplode 6x9's probably some kicker 1…
