so im building a CNC machine capable of cutting full sheets of MDF, wood, plexi etc.. my goal is to be able to produce these for sale most cnc's that cut 4x8 sheets cost upwards of 100k and the backyard ones that you see aren't that accurate (over 1/16th inch accuracy) and still cost 4-7000 dollars, my goal is to get them build for under 2500 so anyways onto the build pics thats the render of the final product another render y and z axis

I'm transferring this over from another forum/ Some things might be out of order. I'm getting the car for next to nothing but it needs some work. So far I have replaced both front control arms and sway bar links. I'm redoing all of the front end (P/S pump, racl etc.) The sway bar bushing look swollen, so those are going to be ordered too. I'm hearing a slight "clunk" when I throw it in to reverse which I believe is either a bushing on the rearend or the flex bushing on the drive shaft. The carrier bearing is new, so I don't think that's it. The car has 209k on it. I'm also going to be ordering new plugs. Service the trans and rearend. I have a fair amount of cosm…

  4. Greetings and salutations beings of the internet. I come bearing random thoughts ramblings and a build log. This will be version 3 of my 2004 suburban. The setup: Sony XAV-701HD Stevens Audio Full Size Horns Beyma 8BR40 8" Mids Arc PS8 Bazooka MGA series Amps Stereo Integrity DS4 18 sealed 6cuft This is also the simplest iteration. I employed the KISADUWDATTDT method: Keep It Simple And Don't Upgrade When Done And Tune The Damn Thing. Just a little FYI the horn install happened a few years ago. This a compilation of a build that spanned a few years. Up first are the horns. You've seen one you've seen them all but just in case here is a pic.…

well the time has come that my stock bose unit is starting to take a crap. its a pretty well known problem in these cars. so i am going to be switching it all out slowly i already have two Fi SSD 10s in a ported box. right now they are being powered by one audiopipe apsm-1300. each only getting 300wrms. which sounds pretty good for now. all the speakers are stock and so is the deck. plans - on its way is - another audiopipe apsm-1300 so that i can run one amp for each sub. (yes i know i could have just got a big enough amp to run both subs. but im not doing that) will be running 1000wrms to each sub a metra dash kit for the new deck. Kenwood Excelon KDC-X794 de…

Well guys I been on this forum for a lil while and its overdue that I make a build log. I dont have much $ flow to work with so, I have to sacrifice some things to get what I have. This enclosure was originally for a 15" Fi BL, it was 3.5 ft sq, tuned to 34hz. I redid it for a 15" FI BTL. Pretty much took the face off and had help from a friend guide me through it. This was a quick fix for my enclosure and it still holding on. I dont hve much pics of the build log, but I will post what I have. I redid the enclosure to 4 ft sq tuned to 34Hz. I used PVC for aeros and flared them, but not so good job.

I just purchased a 15" sp4 d1 with all the bells and whistles. Now i have read that it is best in a 4th order enclosure. In the Fi specs it states its 3-5 cubes in 4th order enclosure. Now my question is then since im a newbie at 4th order. Is this correct: ported side 5 cubes so sealed side has to be half that so 2.5/2.71(counting woofer displacement) or should the motor be in the ported side? and what do i have to tune the ported side to? what is the best tuning for this sub? This is going in a 2012 chrysler 300. I will be running a kicker zx2500.1 at 2 ohms (that should be enough power right?) . My buddy said 65 herts so is that correct? I listen to alot of dubstep and…

Ok so this is my first time trying to build an enclosure on my own so it will probably end up looking a little rough. I started cutting yesterday and some of the pieces didnt turn out so well so I'm re-doing a few today. I will have some pics up later tonight when I finish. The enclosure will be right around 1ft^3 with a 3inch aeroport after all displacements. I'll be picking up either a 10'' Icon or 10'' bl when I get some more money. I'm looking for a daily pounder that can replace two 12'' kappa perfects that were sealed. Do the flared precision ports need a special type of 90 degree elbow in order to make a bend or can I just use any old elbow?

i promise, this is the final plan. i was talking with Little Jon (white van, 16 12" ssd's) and hes like just wall it, and that gave me some ideas, so i just got home, measured in the back, and this is what i came up with. of course im not sure on the port yet, or what subs, deff not gonna be like the truck though. its going to be built outside the car, and slide right in and bolt to the floor. it will be completely removeable, and the seats will be able to be put right back in, if i ever decide to take the wall out. all the side trim, etc is staying in, and nothing is getting screwd thru it, or cut, or anything like that to mess it up. it will be right up to the front sea…

  25. Okay, this little build will be going into my 1992 Oldsmobile 88. I bought the car about 7 years ago right after I started working for the pipeline I'm working for now. I got a hell of a deal on it and got it so that I had a car just for driving to work so my wife would still have the van to drive at home. I only drove the car for a couple of years before I bought the Jimmy and right after that I gave the Olds to my mother and father in law to drive because their car broke down and my mother in law was having to run around to doctors and things for her cancer treatments and such. Well fast forward from then and I find myself with the Jimmy out of commission and my fat…
