What's Going in: 2 Massive Audio DB8000 Amps 8000w @ 1 ohm strapped (the two amps will be strapped and running 1.33ohm) 1 Massive Audio HD1600.4 200w x 4 @ 2 ohm 1 Soundstream Ref Comp set 6.5" (something used I had sitting around that he liked) 3 Rival Mobile Electronics A12.22 4" VC D2 ohm 2000w RMS 2 Shruiken BT120's JVC Deck--nothing fancy 1/0 everywhere... big 3 ect... all tsunami cables **not sure on the rear speakers yet... they're not all that important... he's got some old soundstream 6x9's that we'll probably stuff in there..

I just want to say thanks to all who helped me with this purchase. I absolutely love my Death Row. All I have been doing is driving around listening to music. Everything sounds great on it, and rap is just crazy. I know there are way louder systems then mine, but mine is plenty loud and sounds really good also. Here are some final pictures for a build I did for a customer. Box is 8.4 cubes @ 35hz for 2 HDC3 15's. Box is not being covered with anything. customer will do what he pleases. Gonna be fun to ship... Enjoy

Hi guys, here are a few pictures of my install. I changed some wires, changed the fused distribution block. I put a 150 A ANL fuse for the saz 1500. The install is not too clean, but it is not for shows, only for my listening pleasure ! How it was before : and now : Sorry for the poor quality of the pics, I only used my blackberry bold !

This was my original set up. The box was 1.6cuft plus port and tuned to 33Hz. The piece on the right was my amp rack. One problem though with a baby on the way, I need room for the car seat and stroller and I also need to be able to remove the sub for extra space with out loosing all my music! So i built something a little different Counter sunk sub cut out using 3/4" MDF sandwhiched with 1/2" MDF Metal grill insert to allow heat to disapate. The amps have been moved into a false floor to free up more space The new box is 2.6 cuft tuned to 33Hz and goes stupid low! After a recent break-in, I'm having to rethink/rebuild my subwoofer box and amp rack, as well as replace the equipment. Fortunately my front stage was untouched, so the only change coming is in the rear. Well, since Fraze(CNC) disappeared with my door panels, 6.5, tweeter, and crossover. Decided to get started myself. Started off slacking on the pics (was anxious and in a hurry lol) I was outta town with work, and showed my dad what I wanted done before I left. What subs should we use for 4th order BP? We want a LOW tune around 25Hz-30Hz. Plenty of airspace available, 2 20"x20" square ports. 2 18's. Run off either one or two AP30001Ds.

So thx to the forums and great people I got from a point where I had no clue at all about car audio half a year ago, to the point where I'm all finished with my first built ever. I'm pretty happy that I did all the work myself, I can be sure there were no shortcuts taken and I know what's what. It took me around 6-7hrs for damplifing front doors, rear hatch and a hatch area, then around 6 day(30hrs all together) to do everything, from wiring, custom baffles, watersealer, just a lot of stuff. so this is my first build log so don't flame me if i am doing it wrong, ok so here it goes so i got my first 18", an Fi audio q on Monday and the thing is a beast! here are some pics amazing packaging from Fi if haven't seen it already the box i am building for this sub is a 7.5 cube sealed box and if anyone is wondering what the dimensions are it will be 35.5wx22dx22h the box will have a 2 layer 3/4 MDF baffle as you will see in the pics. and i got the box cut at southern lumber in san jose ca. it cost $10 to have them cut the whole box. much better than freehanding it with a saws all. anyway here are the pics test fitting all the pieces gluing the front baffle to…

Well, i crashed my BMW in december and yesterday i bought a new car "Honda Civic" 91. Engine is running great and body is good, but i will get it painted as soon as possible. Also need some new wheels, and window tint. There is no stereo in car, no HU, even front speakers. Pictures.
