Going in a 2003 Ford Explorer, this build will be crazy. As of right now, rmzsuzuki89 may not be on much so hopefully he sees this so i can continue with his build. I need some more dimensions.. i'm running out of room, The current box i have designed is 48" wide x 45" high x 33" deep. Then the box rises 5" from their and goes back another 20" maintaining 48" wide x 40" high. So first question, can this design fit? 2nd, can i go deeper and if so how much before it hurts...... Your remaining space

We shopped for a Buick Rendezvous or Pontiac Aztac so we could get >18 cubes and still have room for kids, grocieries and such and avoid getting a minivan. Explorers, Blasers, Bravadas, and the like we'ren't nearly enough. Basically we are walling the hatchback. >20 cubes, 8" port. This is temporary until a 21" or 22" driver of similar specs is finished. ( >30mm Xmax, <20Hz Fs) I originally designed it to have the sub on top and port on bottom, but once the 22" is in, side by side works better.

Hey Guys, I've been absent from the forums for a while now, and thought I'll check back in with everyone. Longs story, just been really busy, and this year has been one hell of a roller-coaster. I didn't make as many shows as I wanted this year, because of problems I kept running into, but next year should be a much different story! Anyways, enjoy some pictures, ask some questions, and stay loud folks! 4 subs, 4 amps, out of 6 subs, 6 amps at world finals. Took 4th and 5th place for my 2 classes . That pretty much brings everything up to date. Currently running; 1) DC Power 240hp 2) 6 Taramps HD10ks 3) 1 Juice Box Lithium 80ah 4) 6…

Just start off by saying this will be a very slooooooow build. The car is stripped down to bare metal and will take a while to get back together. Plus the fact that I don't have a garage I may have to put the car in storage for part of fall/winter. The goal is to either use some of the equipment in my xb in this car, all of it, or buy more. For this season I am concentrating on the xb and will hopefully have the honda up by march. I have high hopes for this car, looking for 160+ sealed on the dash. Hopefully I can reach this goal. And if not it'll at least be funny to watch me drive the car into the lane. Looking to go with a flat black paint job atm, but how knows tha…

The sound stuff: AQ1200D amp 2 12" SDC2.5s So after reading all these build logs, i decided to try to build my own box It's not too bad so far for a first try....and the first time using a skil saw LOL. This is all going into a 1999 Civic sedan also here's some pics! My trunk Yes I'm going to fix that gap....i have to cut the top, put those "steps" in place so the subs and port can all fit like they will be on the front. Also need to cut the port back one inch, overestimated it cause i did like five different boxes before i got everything fit. And this was the easiest way to do it, which isn't too bad. I think it should turn out pretty good! What do you guys th…

So thx to the forums and great people I got from a point where I had no clue at all about car audio half a year ago, to the point where I'm all finished with my first built ever. I'm pretty happy that I did all the work myself, I can be sure there were no shortcuts taken and I know what's what. It took me around 6-7hrs for damplifing front doors, rear hatch and a hatch area, then around 6 day(30hrs all together) to do everything, from wiring, custom baffles, watersealer, just a lot of stuff. Pioneer Prs880 Sundown 100.4 Sundown 125.2 Image Dynamics CTX65CS Image Dynamics CTX6 Image Dynamics ID 8'' Knukonceptz wiring, rca's, distro block Secondskin damplifier lite, overki…

The project has begun. My first step is to make the car a bit quieter and eliminate some possible rattling and ambient noise for a future system and just plain comfort. Here's what I got so far. Supplies: 2 Rolls Raamat 45 sq.ft Vertex Barrier (will be here soon) Ensolite (will be here soon) I've installed the two rolls of Raamat in the cabin floor, back seat, and all four doors. I still have about a 1/4 roll left that I will use on the doors before I install the Ensolite. -Floorboard has two or three layers all around. You will notice that not every inch is covered in my install. There are several solid spots in the cabin of the car and I couldn't justify adding the BXT …

Had a meh RF build in this 5 or so years ago. Sold the blazer, and trying for a small trunk build. Car is a acura tsx. K24, 6 speed manual. Not fast at all, but a bit fun to drive. Id love to be able to 499 out of it. Time will tell. Cruise set... still got 30mpg on the trip. Im hoping for 3 ampere audio dream comp sets in, in total. 2 up front, and one in the rear, all on 2 ampere audio 125.4's Some vibra flex for the skins... Sounds crazy, but, ive had a d3100 under the hood, in the OEM location in this before. So, ordered a new Rear bank (2 are sold to my nevada buddy) Swag here and there My boy, sending some goods. I've had some equipment laying around for over 2 years, and my wife wants a little bit of bass. I figure I may as well make the most of what I have, which chances are will be more than she'll ever use anyway. Her car: Chevy Malibu Equipment: Alpine 9885 Alpine Type-X 12 D4 Hifonics 2006d Enclosure: ~1.5ft net tuned to 36hz with 24sqin of port. She wants a little bass, and plenty of room to put groceries. Also no wires or equipment hanging out like most drop in installs. This is really temporary until she gets a new car some time this year. The equipment: Of course I had to draw up some plans and it starts at the kitchen table: A MS Paint drawing of what I'm going for…

Been off the forums and out of the car audio word for a while now. Decided I want some more bass in my 2014 escape titanium. It has the factory Sony 10 speaker system but I need more. I originally decided on a xcon 15 and a hifonics brz1200 amp. The next day I go tab place the order and the black and blue sale starts. Now I have a death penalty 15 and ia10.1 amp on the way! I have every thing wired in the car now, 0 Guage from the battery, 0 Guage ground, and a pac ls1 up front. Found a turn on lead from the rear fuse box, and spliced into the Sony amp in the rear as well. When first checking the car to see if it can handle a stereo I found that it has a 150 am…
