This is my second build log on SSA, This build is in a 2004 Yukon truck has 120,000 miles on it, I purchased it in March 2015 and it was completely stock. I have added a bunch of stuff to this vehicle since i've owned it. Well, first off. This is going to be off to a slow start. As some of you know, I totaled out my beloved daewoo and did not have full coverage. I was also between jobs when it happened. So I just picked this 2dr, 4wd blazer today, literally. I got it for a good deal. It needs some work, but it'll be worth it. I got some shit to fix on it, A/C, some suspension work, and I think the front axle solenoid is bad, I hear the transfercase solenoid kicking in, but no pull from the front. Looks like I have me a new (old) toy to work on ... a 1949 Ford 2 Door Custom Sedan !!! I know, i'm primarily a Chevy guy, but this one I just can not resist ... These are my dad's favorite body style cars and he has always fixed them up origional ... Not me !!! It has a Flat 6 in it now that runs great, so we plan to leave the drive train stock until we get the body and interior up to par ... Just not sure yet as to go with a Ford or Chevy drive train ... guess it all depands on what I can find to fix her up with at that time ...

I've been looking for something to replace my Ford F150. Honestly folks, Its a Money Pit. Can't build the system for having to stop and fix shit. This is my 1st build on a forum I will be going to get my car meter before I start the build. And was wondering should 6 pwx 6.5, 2 pwx 8"and 4FT1 go together or the crescendo cz 5.25 2 sets and 4 pwx 6.5 once I make the choice than I will start the build.

Alright finally i started to do a build log...this is going to be one continuous build log. Right now i am in the process of glassing my passenger A pillar and so far its going better than planned. Picked up some fleece today and a brush heres the first A pillar...this is my first time doing pods so this one turned out quite nice well to me it did heres the mess fleece is SO much easier... heres the amp rack i just finished....40 bucks a sheet of this plexi but i thought it was worth it if anyone is wondering what i am running in my car here it is well more to come on the A pillars tonight

Well I've had enough of working my life away building cool shit for other people. I scooped up a 1980 Caddy CoupeDeville about a week ago and will be putting a basic hydraulic set up in it. I'll also be using all the various audio gear that I have been storing in the basement for the last 3 years to put a decent system together for it also. So I finally decided to start a build log on here.I had sort of one in the photography thread awhile back. Im in the process of building a wall for 6 of the Fi Team Series 15's on 3 DC 9k's and a ton of other extras. This will be my third build and I have done everything on my own except the doors and VU-Din/Volt meter setup which I had my Italian shop in Italy do. Just got a new car so its time for the new build. I now have a 2010 Audi A4 Premium and craving to put a sub in the trunk. First off, here is the car.. I plan on getting a Fi Q 12d2 with cooling and spider. Its going to have a ported box tuned to 32-33hz with a matching black/silver theme built by DonH. The box dimensions are 35x16x12in with the baffle on 35x16. The sub will be wired parallel to a Sundown SAX-1200D. I plan on getting a refurbished one from db-r. Im going to be able to hide the amps in the sides of the trunk behind the panels. If I can hide all wires this can be a very clean semi stealth build. What a better date to start a build log than your birthday. The vehicle is a 6th generation Toyota Celica, 1.8 liter engine running on LPG. My goal is to have a nice, clean and loud system. I am limited to finances, so it will be a slow one, but with passion and desire to learn. I am first importer of Sundown Audio in Bulgaria, so I will try to represent the brand as best as I can. I figured I might as well start a build log on this one as it will be my first build that has some effort put into it and not just slapping things together to get something that sounds like music. This is my daily driver and will probably be ever-changing. For now, I am trying to keep it simple and as close to factory as I reasonably can. 22" VCT Scarface plastidipped and wrapped in 305/45 rubber. 2" drop in the rear with Bilsteins all around. Majority of the chrome has been plastidipped, only the grill strip remains. Front door windows tinted to match factory privacy glass. Hi! I am rebuilding my whole system this summer. This build is going to be slow because I will be getting things as I get the money for them. My goals are: Loud, great sounding bass and mids/highs. Basically I want to have the ability to get loud when I want it, but I want it to sound good so when I'm just on my way to work the sound quality is still amazing. Trunk space doesn't really matter, but backseats do. I also want to upgrade my electrical system at some point. What kind of electrical engineer student would I be without a strong electrical lol.
