Sup... So I totaled my Explorer and broke my arm. BUT, I got a new job, got a new car, and got a (somewhat) new system. So I have two of these: Powered by this: Which is powered (in part) by this: Hooked up to the stock radio in this: And it all looks like this: The box is 4 cubes @ ~34 ish (I fuxxored the math up lol) which is a little higher than I wanted but it was as long as I could get it and still get the box in the trunk. Trunks suck ass btw. And that's my return to the land of bass. Yay.

Ok this build is up on most of the forums but I figured I'd put it up over here as well. There are a lot of pictures so I'll try and only put the important ones in here... Here are the first 2 peices... Working around the stupid hump in the back wall. Here is a picture of the back, this is at a slight angle which is causing all sorts of hell with trying to line everything up. Another shot Once again, those are all test pieces. The only "good" pieces I have are in the first 2 pictures. Pretty much the bottom, back, and the small hump. Another close up of the internal driver side. Shot of the drivers side. All those pieces are finished. Internal of the driver…

Well i finally got my truck and got my SAZ-1000D in and my 10" SSA icon. Man it sounds good. I have never heard a sub with such accuracy and overall sound quality. It has a lot of output for a little 10 and i am very happy with it. Anyways this set up is temporary until i build a new box and find somewhere to stick the amp. Box is 1.35^3@32hz. Its pretty good for my 3rd box i would say and i designed it myself. Just got to figure out if im gunna carpet it or paint. Edit - Also my first install that i did everything myself and its still not done. On to the pics - The truck - 01' GMC Sierra with 47k miles. So far all i have done is get the windows tinted and the sub in. …

I don't have a lot of pics but I will tell ya this......The DP21 is one sweet sub. Looks unbelievable and sounds ever better. A lot more accurate on fast bass then you will ever expect and simply kills on rap and all low end bass. If you got the money, power and room, GET THIS SUB! That is a Hyfonics Golitath 15, MA Audio 12, and old school MTX Roadthunder 12 surrounding the DP21 Just a few measurements One 7.5 cubic foot box tuned to about 32hz for one full size Ford extended cab truck Power for the beast. I've been here long enough. Time to nut up or shut up, as the saying goes. Here are some pics of what I built. The goal: Loud. How loud? 140+ on the Term lab. The challenge: To do it with low power and a sTock electrical system. Journey with me as I go for the moon. First some info of my build. The car: 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Cierra A.K.A The Cream Puff Head Unit: JVC KD-HDW10 A basic CD player with a built in HD tuner and RCA outputs Amps: 2 US Acoustics USB-4085 1 at 85 watts x 4 @ 4ohms (mids and highs) 1 at 240 watts x 2 @ 4 ohms (subs) Fronts: Powerbass 3.5" coax in stock location Rear: MTX Thunder Axe 5-1/4" components Subs: 2 Ascendant Audio Atlas 15" Electical: S…

The goal 140. My previous attempt netted me a 135 and change at 32Hz. You can see my previous build here: Original Build This time I'm upping the anty with a pair of 18s and double the power. A mind boggling 900 watts. That's 900 old school class A/B watts via US Acoustics USB line. Why you ask? Because, they're cheap. The 2150 average about $100 bucks on ebay and the 2080 were about $40, which includes shipping. Here is a run down of the setup: The car: 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Cierra A.K.A The Cream Puff Head Unit: JVC KD-HDW10 A basic CD player with a built in HD tuner and RCA outputs Amps: 2 US Acoustics USB-2085 both at 80 watts x 2 @ 4ohms (mids and highs) & 2 US…

Was not going for a show quality build the car gets driven from time to time. I have a few more things left to do (secure the box down, run bass remote up front, try cleaning up wiring a lil more). BL 12 fully loaded i followed the box cut sheets over in the Fi forum for a BL. Knu Konceptz 0 awg dual amp kit, Sundown 1200D and 50.4, didnt want to go to crazy or have to alter the car much so i am just running infinity 6x8's, in the stock locations with a pioneer avh-p4200dvd. This is what i wanted so i did alot of research on this forum over the last year so thanks for all the info. Need to do some sound deadening next probably gonna go with some raam mat.

This is my build log for my 1999 Honda Accord. I will be changing out most the equipment I put in a year ago. The system installed now sounds good , But not at the decibel levels I want. So this time around I will be spending alot more on higher end eqipment to do it "better" this time so I am happy when done. So these are my goals: Basically better sounding at high volumes Higher efficiency speakers and subwoofer Block outside noises and inside rattles True low end freq repoduction (type-r doesn't hit the very bottom end) better mid-bass (maybe a 3-way) Better sounding mid-ranges and tweeters I must still have a SPARE TIRE Must still have some useable space left in tr…

This build will not be a rushed one.. I want to take my time, cause I rushed my last build. I have learned alot of stuff from other forums, but from the little time I have been looking at the amazing builds here.. I know I will be busy soon getting this beast running before any audio goes in, but I have also been working on some ideas.. It's not for sure cause if I can get to it I have been in contact with Mike Singer to design me a 4thorder for 12 12's.. I probably will be using some Alpine type R's (older models swr-1242d) for awhile until funds allow me to go further.. Mike said that using the alpines would not be a bad thing cause they do so well in sealed enclosures…
