Hello. New to the forum and wondering to get some opinions on building an aero port box for my sundown zv4 18. I have no experience with them. Like how many to use what diameter to use. Or how i get sq inches for port value. Its on a synergy 35.1 tuned to 32hz. I got a 143.7 last summer with no tuning and crap electrical but ive since tuned and electrical is up to par. I know its got more in it but id love to try an aero with ports i can just swap to daily and to get on the meter. Also because my box now is just massive. About 7 cubes net and built in 3 days

Well this is odd. My parents called me from back home to tell me my package from SSA came some time last week; only I haven't ordered anything. A 15" DCON was sent to me at my address and I didn't order it. I went to the order status for my account to see if someone had hacked my account and ordered one and... sent it to my house?? But that wasn't the case. Order #5455 and order #5182 were indeed for 15" DCON's, but I've already received them a long time ago. Aaron, what the heck do you want me to do with this?! My old man opened it up and there was nothing on the inside of the top of the box (i was hoping for a receipt to be there). Thanks!

Hey I don't mean to be rude but I was wondering if there is any update on my build status? My order was made on July 19th and it's said its been awaiting shippment since the 21st. I'm just really curious, this was a expensive purchase for me so I'm just really anxious to finally hear these subs for myself. My order number is 2063. Hey SSA Forum. I've been researching for a while now and notice most if not all hairtricks are done by 15" or higher. I've seen 12" but not as good. I am about to buy a Sundown Audio Z v2 15". << to match that sub i'm buying a Sundown Audio SAZ-1500D v2. For now that'll cost me about $1000 so that pretty much tops my budget for now. I plan on buying another one of the sub and amp later in the months but not now. I have a 1995 Acura Integra. and I don't know how I want to have the box. I could use help in box dimensions, where it should face and stuff. Is the one 15" good enough for a hairtrick or do I must absolutely have two of them? Appreciate the help guys! Su…

Hey guys I have the Soundqubed 4.5k and the dual 2 ohm Zcons,I was thinking about Wiring them to 8 ohm to break them in for a month or so.Or should I do the 2ohm? Or do I go for the gusto and do the .5 ohm? Also does anyone know for sure if that 4.5 k is Half ohm stable?Thanks for all your support and Suggestions.

Hello everybody, new to the forum so hopefully I'm posting this in the right place. I just placed an order last week and my order says awaiting shipping. I saw there was a build time of 3 weeks for the evil 18, is that a current build time or an approximation? Also what are some opinions on the 4500.1 soundquebed amp? Can the evil take more or will this be a good long term amp? Should I break the sub in at 3k rms for a few weeks let the spiders loosen up or can I wire it down to 1 ohm right off the bat thanks

So on march 11th i purchased 20ft of ofc xs flex 0 gauge since thats all what i needed for my install to be completed.. In a coupke days my order status changed to ' awaiting shipment ' nd i patiently waiting until march 24 when it still had the same status.. I emailed support nd they reply telling me that ' we apologize for the mix up, but when you ordered it was in stock but went out of stock so were not able to ship it. I was wondering if the staff would be open to Shirt design suggestions. I have an SSA shirt that I purchased and wear proudly at car shows and would like a couple more. I had some ideas for different designs I think would be neat and attract more attention. Not looking for any compensation or anything. I've placed an order on 2 dcons about a month ago and when they arrived I found only 1 sub in the box. I called UPS, and they say that the shipper (ssa) short shipped them. I emailed SSA and they said the sub was probably seperated during the shipping process and to wait a day or so. Waited 3 days with nothing shipped. So I emailed back asking if they can look into it more but Its been about a week without an answer.
